Everypony was in Timidthy's room getting ready for the sleep over. Timidthy sat on his bed, he actually was excited, he'd never had a sleep over before! Celestia came into the room along with Luna and a few of the royal staff trailing behind.
"Timidthy you guys can stay up late sense tomorrow is not a school day, but if you need anything get Luna or the guard's ok?" said Celestia
"I understand." said Timidthy
"And remember the rules. No waking Celestia. No loud music. No dark magic spells tonight. Don't leave the castle for any reason, and we'll know." said Luna as she hinted to the guard's, Timidthy nodded.
"And no liquids before bed." said Celestia, Timidthy blushed red.
"Yes I understand." muttered Timidthy,
"Alright, have a good sleep over." said Celestia as her, Luna, and the royal guard's left the room. Timidthy smirked 'Now time to get my room ready.' Timidthy thought soon after he pulled out a popcorn making machine. Some caramel apples he had made, some grape soda, and placed them on a table beside his bed. Timidthy then cleared a big space in his room for his friends and their pet's. Timidthy looked down for a minute, 'I wish I had a pet. Celestia said I'm responsible enough but I just can't seem to find the right one.' Timidthy thought, he was interrupted when his room door was opened. Bumper, French Press and Sweet Dreams walked in. French Press had her hair pressed down and had a red sleeping bag and a small duffel bag. Bumper had a green sleeping bag and a clotted over bird-cage. Timidthy shivered a moment but tried to hide it, finally Sweet Dreams had a white pet cartel with her. Timidthy smiled,
"I-It's nice to know you guy's could come!" said Timidthy
"And miss the one-in-a-lifetime chance to sleep in a castle!? No way!" said Bumper
"Yeah, forget it! I'd never ditch on my friends!" said French Press, Sweet Dreams seemed distracted. As she eyed something tucked under her wing. French Press elbowed her,
"Oh! Right yes, I'd never miss a chance to spend time with- I mean time in a regal castle such as this!" said Sweet Dreams catching herself in the middle as blush redden across her face. Timidthy raised an eyebrow at Sweet Dreams's odd behaviour. But just shook it off as jitters or something.
"Well I'm glad all of you could make it! And I can't wait to see your pet's!" said Timidthy 'I sure wish I had one.' Timidthy thought just moments after he spoke.
"Well you don't have to wait much longer!" said French Press as she opened her duffel bag. Suddenly a small creature jumped out of the duffel bag, it was reveled to be a small runty pig. The small pig was brown all over accept for a white spot on her back and left ear and eye. Timidthy smiled the little pig snorted and oinked like crazy as if it wanted to smell whole castle. Sweet Dreams opened her pet cariel and a small 'Bahh.' was heard, a small lamb walked out. He had very light yellow and white wool blending together almost seeming as if both colors we're one. The lamb had smooth, flat wool as if it had been brushed recently. Timidthy smile grew bigger he couldn't help but find the little lamb cute. Finally Bumper pulled the cloth off the bird-cage, and opened it. A bright green blur flew across the room and finally landed on Bumper's head. Timidthy pupils dilated as he got a close look, Bumper's pet was a bird. Timidthy took a few steps back and put on a nervous smile,
"W-Wow, I never took you as a b-b-bird lover." said Timidthy as he stuttered through the sentence.
"Yeah! I won Crackers here, at the country fair just before I moved to Canterlot!" said Bumper clearly obvious to Timidthy's fear. French Press raised an eyebrow but decided to keep her mouth shut. Sweet Dreams was distracted looking at her wing again.
"And my pet Mrs. Oinkers has been with me ever since my first birthday!" said French Press,
"And Babe has been my pet since my cutesinaria a few months back!" said Sweet Dreams.
"So are we gonna get the sleepover started or what!?" said Bumper cheerfully
"Yeah!" said French Press, Timidthy and Sweet Dreams at once.
"And then the last lone survivor with only his heart, lungs, bones and flesh remaining from the pink pony got thrown into the pegasus device never to come out again." said Bumper soberly, the room was pitch black accept for a candle light that aluminated Bumper's face. French Press was pale and was bitting on her left hoof, Timidthy was shaking and hiding under his covers and Sweet Dreams was petrified beyond all rational thinking.
"And they say that late at night you can hear the last words of the innocent pony." said Bumper and almost immediately after a voice was heard out of nowhere,
"Who was my killer?" said a mysterious groggy voice,
"How about YOU!" said the voice. Timidthy screamed, French Press muffled a scream and hid. While Sweet Dreams flew over and clutched onto Timidthy. Bumper turned on the lights and laughed,
"Oh you should've see the looks on your faces!" said Bumper in the middle of hysterics.
"B-B-But the voice!" said Timidthy, Bumper only laughed harder.
"That was Crackers he's a talking parrot!" said Bumper,
"Right Crackers?"
"You, betcha!" said Crackers, Sweet Dreams and French Press both calmed down while Timidthy hugged his sheets more. After a while the kid's started getting board again,
"Now what?" said French Press,
"H-How about Truth or Dare?" said Timidthy.
"Oh right I heard that done of the older kid's do it!" said Sweet Dreams,
"So how do you play?" said Bumper.
"Either you dare somepony to do somethin' or make em' tell the truth." said French Press
"About anything?" said Bumper, French Press nodded her head.
"Anything." said French Press,
"Well what are we waiting for let's play!" said Bumper, while Sweet Dreams reluctantly agreed, Timidthy himself ready and comfey in his bed not knowing how the rest of the night would turn out.
"Ok Timidthy, truth or dare?" said Bumper as he went first. Timidthy thought about it. 'If I choose truth, Bumper will make me admit something embarrassing. But if I choose dare he'll make me do something embarrassing or dangerous. Well either way I'm sunk.' Timidthy gulped and said,
"Dare.", Bumper smiled maliciously he eyed Timidthy like he was his prey.
"I dare you to go to your restroom and open the door." said Bumper. French Press, Sweet Dreams, Timidthy, and even Mrs. Oinkers and Babe raised eyebrows. Timidthy rolled his eye's and went to his personal restroom. And opened the door as instructed. Bumper's smile grew bigger. While Timidthy just shook his head,
"Nice try Bumper but if you we're trying to-" said Timidthy before Crackers flew from the restroom. And landed on his head. Bumper's smile grew even widder as he saw Timidthy's pupils shrink to pin pricks. And his tail twitched nervously. Sweet Dreams looked concerned while French Press looked curious, Bumper whispered,
"3......2......1....." Timidthy's mind entered a panicked state as her ran around his room screaming,
"GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF! GET IT OFF!". Crackers stayed on Timidthy's head, Bumper was in hysterics rolling on the ground. French Press was desperately trying to hold in a laugh. Sweet Dreams was flying after Timidthy trying to clam him down. Finally Bumper let out a loud whistle and Crackers flew back to him. Timidthy stopped running, and Sweet Dreams crashed into Timidthy.
"I knew you we're scared of Crackers!" said Bumper triumphantly, Timidthy would've replied but he was buried under a pegasus. Sweet Dreams who had just recovered from the crash blushed bright red and got off of Timidthy. Timidthy blushed redder. The blush was both from being so close to Sweet Dreams and from his recent reaction to Crackers. Bumper snorted trying to contain his laughter, while French Press only smirked slightly.
"Bu-Bumper, truth or dare?" said Timidthy desperately trying to change the new awkward atmosphere. For him and Sweet Dreams. Bumper rolled his eye's,
"Nice try but I know you're gonna want revenge so truth." said Bumper with cockiness in his voice, Timidthy kept his normal expression and said,
"Are you in love with French Press?"
Bumper's cockiness faded as his face blushed into an unknown shade of red. French Press looked back her eye's we're wide. As she waited in anticipation for Bumper's answer. Bumper bit his bottom lip, Timidthy noticed this and sighed 'I can't make him tell the truth if he's not ready just like on how I can't tell Sweet Dreams just yet.'. Timidthy looked at Bumper who had started digging at the floor nervously.
"Nevermind Bumper if ya don't want to say I can just-" said Timidthy before he cut himself off. When French Press glared at him with a cold icy glare. French Press walked up to Bumper who looked as if he was ready to run for his life. French Press looked at Bumper with softened eye's and without warning, kissed Bumper. Bumper's face blushed even redder. Sweet Dreams gasped, Timidthy's eye's widened and his mouth hung open in shock.
"Ya,know your cute when you try to deny your feelings." said French Press as she stopped kissing Bumper. Bumper only numbly nodded in a love-struck daze.
"Anyway why don't you two stay here while I try to get Bumper back to normal." said French Press, then French Press grabbed Bumper and walked out of Timidthy's room. Timidthy overcame the shock and back on his bed. Sweet Dreams followed and sat next to Timidthy,
"So are you ok, you've been acting kinda funny tonight?" said Timidthy
"Yeah, I'm fine it's just I have something for you and I kinda wanted to tell ya something." said Sweet Dreams nervously. Sweet Dreams then pulled out a small cardboard box from her wing with holes in it. Timidthy smiled and blushed slightly,
"Well thanks! But what is it you wanted to tell me?" said Timidthy, Sweet Dreams blushed.
"Well.....um.....ever since I first met you I um.....kinda have always had a cr-" Sweet Dreams said before Timidthy put a hoof to her mouth.
"Sa-Same." said Timidthy as red blush spread further across his face.
Sweet Dreams smiled. Timidthy smiled as they looked into each other's eye's and started to lean in. Suddenly the cardboard box shook a little. And a little puffball jumped out and tackled Timidthy. Sweet Dreams and Timidthy looked shocked and blushed bright red. The puffball yipped and barked begging for attention. Timidthy and Sweet Dreams then snapped their gazes to the puffball in question. And it was a small pomeranian. The pomeranian had pink, light purple. Salmon, and red fur blending together in perfect harmony. It also had big magenta coloured eye's with the biggest eye lashes Timidthy had ever seen. Her ears were the only thing not covered I'm fur and they flopped around aimlessly. Finally she had a big, wet tongue. Timidthy stared at the pomeranian and hugged it, Sweet Dreams smiled,
"I'm glad you like her Timidthy!" said Sweet Dreams,
"She's great and your great for giving her to me!" said Timidthy as he hugged Sweet Dreams.
Just then French Press came in with a now back to normal Bumper.
"Wait! You got Timidthy a puppy!" said Bumper,
"Wait does that mean y-", French Press elbowed Bumper,
"So what's its name?" said French Press,
Timidthy blushed slightly and said,
"Well I was thinking Poppy." said Timidthy.
"Good name." said French Press,
"I know, it's a great name for a dog like her! But are you and Bumper dating now?" said Sweet Dreams. Bumper blushed red and nodded while French Press said,
"Yeah but don't expect us to mention it a whole bunch." said French Press.
"Well what should we play now?" said Bumper,
"I think it's best you all head to bed." said a deep voice, the kid's and pet's turned around to see one of the royal guard's.
"It's getting late plus I'm sure all of you don't want to wake Celestia. You've all been pretty close to doing just that tonight."
The kids nodded nervously and got into their sleepingbags. As their pet's slept by their sides. As Timidthy was just about to close his eye's Poppy curled up next to him and he smiled. For now he had a pet but what he didn't realize was that what his mind wanted more than anything was a kiss from his crush.
