Pinkie Pie was walking down a street of Ponyville as happy as she could be. She was in high spirits as the day was going good for her and she got all of her work done so that she could take a long deserved break which she was doing at that moment as she was walking down the street.
While Pinkie Pie was walking she came across a familiar looking pony looking down at a river on a bridge. She saw that it was Rainbow Dash. She grinned and bounced over to her. When she got there she stopped and started to barrage her with questions about her day.
"Hi Rainbow, how was your day? Did you go for your morning walk want to go to Sugarcube Corner with me-hey what's wrong?" Pinkie asked as she saw the mood Rainbow Dash was in. Rainbow Dash sighed and looked over to her and then spoke in a rough tone.
"Nothing is wrong." Rainbow Dash said as she turned back to the water. Pinkie Pie knew there was something bothering her but she didn't know if she should probe her further because she wanted to help her. She also thought about just leaving her alone but the way her friend was acting was worrying her.
"There is something wrong. I know you Rainbow Dash we've been friends for years, I know that your face is gloomy now just tell me what's on your mind. I won't laugh or be insensitive like how I sometimes do accidentally but apologize for it. Just spit it out please?" Pinkie Pie said. Rainbow Dash nodded sadly and responded.
"I was thinking about stuff..." Rainbow Dash said. Pinkie Pie nodded and tried to get Rainbow Dash to continue with why she was sad as she had stopped immediately before she could say anything else. Rainbow Dash looked at Pinkie Pie and looked back at the water.
"When I was younger I was bullied....I was called Rainbow Crash and a lot of other names. That was when I was a filly. When I was a teen....I found out that I was gay. I liked mares and there was nothing I could do about it. When other ponies found out they teased me called me names and so I'm here thinking to myself about how fucked up I am and how fucked up my life was." Rainbow Dash said.
She was then quiet and an awkward silence fell between the two. Pinkie Pie thought over what Rainbow Dash had just revealed to her. Pinkie Pie thought about what to say in response to Rainbow Dash. She felt sorry for her and she didn't mind if Rainbow Dash was lesbian. She did want Rainbow Dash to be happy though.
"There's nothing wrong with being gay Rainbow Dash. Your not fucked up. I love you just the way you are. I would never make fun of you or tease. Sometimes I do get over energetic and I know I have a problem with that which causes me to be insensitive I'm not going to be insensitive. Nopony has the right to bully you or tease you." Pinkie Pie told her.
Rainbow Dash smiled and wiped her tears. She thought about what Pinkie said and Pinkies words made her feel better. She looked over at Pinkie Pie and wiped away more tears that appeared in her eyes. She hugged Pinkie. Pinkie hugged her back. They both stayed like that and then they pulled away and looked at eachother and then Rainbow Dash spoke to Pinkie Pie.
"Thanks...Pinkie....I really needed that. I was very emotional just thinking about it and it made me feel awful but you actually cheered me up. I should not think of myself like that so I'm glad you spotted me. I wasn't sure how you were going respond but responded perfectly." Rainbow Dash said.
"Your welcome Rainbow Dash. It's normal to be upset about somethings that have happened. Alls you need to do though is get back on your hooves tell anypony that bullies you to get away and move on. I'm know I'm going to be pretty blunt about this but those ponies that are bullies are sick, they are vile beings that walk this land and no matter how many times they are talked to or are persuaded with they will never change their cruel ways because they are sick. They are demented and all of us good ponies have to ignore their bigotry and hatred." Pinkie Pie told Rainbow Dash.
Rainbow Dash agreed with everything Pinkie said. She had never had heard Pinkie be this wise but she believed it as she knew Pinkie Pie was smart. She felt a lot better about herself. She smiled and hugged her again. Pinkie Pie smiled and hugged her back.
"Thank you so much Pinkie Pie. You have no idea how much you have lifted my spirits to day. Your right. They are sick and we all just have to ignore them. I just wish that everypony could get along." Rainbow Dash said. Pinkie Pie chuckled and Rainbow Dash smiled.
"I also wish that ponies could get along but I'm afraid that's not possible. It's the way our world is. No matter how much harmony is in Equestria not all of the sick ponies or creatures who hurt others will disappear. There will always be those that cause that troubles for others and we need to all ignore those sick bullies." Pinkie Pie said as she smiled.
"Thanks Pinkie Pie. I really appreciate you talking to me. I was afraid you wouldn't understand." Rainbow Dash said. Pinkie Pie shook her head no as she responded to Rainbow Dash.
"Of coarse I understand. You have nothing to worry about because if anypony bullies you then they will be sorry they ever opened their mouth! I promise you that. I'm a nice and happy pony and everything but if you or my friends are getting picked on then the harassers will be sorry that their mothers didn't keep their legs closed!" Pinkie Pie said with a determined voice.
"Thanks Pinkie Pie" Rainbow Dash said as she chuckled and hugged her again. They then pulled away and Pinkie Pie continued.
"So don't you ever have doubts about yourself!" Pinkie Pie said. Rainbow Dash nodded and responded.
"I won't. Thanks Pinkie Pie. I love ya." Rainbow Dash said as she felt so much better. She had load lifted from her shoulders because she knew that she had her friends and Pinkie Pie to protect her.
"Are you feeling better?" Pinkie Pie asked her. Rainbow Dash said.
"Yes I do. Thanks so much." Rainbow Dash said as she smiled.
"That's good. Your welcome." Pinkie Pie said as she responded. They both stayed there for a bit longer and talked about lighter subjects as they both laughed about funny jokes or spoke of ideas for pranks and then they walked back into town as they both told eachother that they would see eachother around and then they headed off to do their own things as they both felt good.
