Persona 4: A World Apart

Things were not looking up for yu narukami and his friends not only were they under prepared for their rescue attempt not only was he and yoskue exhausted from fighting chie's shadow but they had used up what few supplies they had trying to make it back out of the castle. By the time they had made it to teddie they were barely on their feet. "Sensai! I just smelled a powerful shadow close to-"

"Little late for that fur-ball." yosuke, the so called 'heir of junes' and the brains of the group was not in a very good mood, he tended to get that way when things didn't go as planned.

"Y-owe, my everything hurts." chie, if yousuke was the brains of the group chie was its' heart she was always jumping into things head first no matter how bad things got she was always wellspring of eagerness.

As the group of friends made there way to the exit of the tv world they found a strange creature at the entrance."Great just what we need a shadow right in front of the exit."

"Another one? Alright, Yosuke you handle it."

"Me your the leader of this group."

"What you said is true but someone has to protect chie from that monster plus what if we get attacked from behind?"

"I....Ugh fine but if this thing kills me I am so haunting you for the rest of your life you hear me chie!"

"Why me?"

"Cause I don't know where yu lives in the city."

"Hey guys this things sleeping." teddie had called from right next to the form. "Also, I don't think it's a shadow."

"Huh, why's that ,ted?"

"Cause it doesn't smell like one."

"Well what is it then?"

The group approached the creature carefully in case it was dangerous. Once they were close enough yu was able to note that it appeared to be a small winged horse like creature with a horn and purple hair."What is this?"

"Um...guys call me crazy but I think I've seen something like this before."

"Really, cause I gotta tell you, I have NEVER seen something like this before, I'm not even sure it's real."

"Well whatever it is we can't just leave it here."

"Why not?"

"Don't you remember what teddie said yu, it's not a shadow. That means that it's just a vulnerable as yukiko right now and...." chie appeared to be on the verge of tears as she spoke.

"Hey, it ok....we're gonna save yukiko, but we need to retreat for now not only are yu and me exhausted but we're out of supplies as well and if your persona is anything like mine chie your probably wiped right now as well." Yu and chie were paying full attention to yosuke's words. That was his power he could make anyone listen to him if he really wanted them to. "And besides like you just said chie we can't leave that thing in here with just teddie and we all have school so..."

"Alright, now we just have one problem."

"And that is?"

"Where do we put it?"

"Ugh...we'll worry about that once we're all out of here, now who's going to carry it?"

"Why, not you chie?"

"It would be a perfect way to squeeze in some light endurance training before we go home."

"W-actually-"

"Ummm- sensai I hate to be the bear of bad news but the shadows are getting restless here, you guys should leave quickly!" With that teddie summoned three tvs stacked on top of each other and quickly shoved the three teens and their newfound companion through.

yu and yosuke were the first to find there self's inside the junes electronics department."We have seriously gotta talk to that bear about that."

"Agreed. Where's chie." Both boys look around frantically for their classmate...only for yosuke to feel a crushing weight knock him over the next second.

"Ugh...chie you weigh a ton! get off."

"...Umm yosuke, I'm over here." chie called from the opposite side of yosuke.

"Wait...if your over there then who..." as yosuke turned his head he found his face caught in a curtain of purple hair. "Umm...Guys? Is that thing on my back?" chie nodded albeit wide eyed and yu looked equally stunned. 'Strange it didn't look that heavy on the other side, what changed?' It was then that yosuke attempted to get up....and found out why the creature felt heavier than it looked, because it was not how it looked on the other side, now it was a girl roughly their age with purple hair and pink and red highlights.

"Now I remember where I saw her!" chie had said excitadly.

"You do?"

"Yea, but...I thought she was just a cartoon, you see yukiko took me with her to see a movie with her last year."

"And let me guess she was in the movie?"

"Well yea, if it's really her then her name's twilight sparkle."

"Well that's a start anything else?"

"Sorry, I'm not that interested in that kind of stuff, but yuki could tell you everything, she's been watching the show sense we were kids."

Yosuke rubbed his temples this was quickly becoming one headache after another. "Alright, well at least we know her name that helps now we just need to figure out who takes her home, yu?"

Yu pushed his glasses back up on his face."I'm afraid my uncle isn't up to housing another person."

"Yea, my folks will flip if I just bring home a girl that I haven't ever mentioned."

"I can take her." chie volunteered "Just for a little while and she'll have to share my room but..."

"It'll have to do for now yu and I will come up with something tomorrow, can you hang around with her while we get ready?"

"....Sure, yea ok, I just need to call my folks and let them know first." And so with task clearly divided between them the three friends parted ways unaware that this meeting would change their life's forever.
