Antiquated

A castle of ruin gazed out from the sea of trees, but beneath her lay something far more incredible. Below the dungeons, and below the roots of the crystalline structure of the tree of harmony, lay a dusty place where the air was stale. Nothing had stirred in the darkness of this great cavern in many an age, and every so often, a light breeze would touch the air and refresh it, giving it a sparkle that, just for a moment, gave life to the dismal place. Every so often, in the darkness like a fire fly, a quick spark of light would fade into sight and the tendrils of darkness would pull back.

Revealed by one such light, was a tall building that seemed to reach forgive upwards. The soft glow momentarily grew and a few other buildings became barely visible nearby. The light slowly began to fade, but as it did so the sign before the building grew brighter and eventually became the lone light in the darkness. Despite everything, the sign remained lit and gave all the small creatures living in the cavern their first taste of true, unending light in generations.

The sign merely held two neon words, meaningless without a knowledge of the history of this decimated place. *Xene Corp*.
