Velvet hummed to herself as she prepared breakfast for her and Shining, while shaking her hips from side to side, her tail swishing along loosely. Her mane was slightly frazzled, with some of it draped over her shoulders.

She was wearing one of Shining's t-shirts, which was naturally quite loose on her, though she didn't mind. Even if it meant her tail pulled up the back to reveal her bare behind, as the shirt was all she had donned to cover her naked body.

Her first time making love with her son had left her in a state of non-caring bliss. It also reinforced her motherly instincts, as evident by her preparing breakfast. It made her miss motherhood, much like the night before.

"Smells good." Velvet hummed contentedly and leaned back into the now very familiar embrace of her son, continuing to move her hips back and forth with Shining following suit as he sensually rubbed her buttocks.

"Morning, honey. I hope your hungry."

"You know if you have something for me to eat, I'll gladly dig in."

"Naughty boy, you" Velvet adjusted herself and turned her head, allowing her and Shining to engage in a simple but loving kiss. Once they broke away, Shining went for the table and sat down, waiting for breakfast as he wistfully admired his mother. It wasn't long before Velvet was finished and she walked over to the table holding a skillet in her hand and two plates with her magic.

"You look really sexy in my shirt" Shining noted as his mother distributed their food.

"I know" Velvet said, giving him a wink and a small laugh before she sat down.

In the midst of eating, Velvet shifted her eyes up at Shining when she felt one of his hooves slightly nudge hers. She smirked before repeating the action and the two entered into a game of hoofsies. She used her magic to stop him when he started trailing his hoof up her leg.

"Uh uh uh, eat" Velvet commanded with a wave of her fork as she forced Shining's hoof back down, receiving an annoyed grunt of acquiescence. Velvet rolled her eyes at this but decided to liven the mood a little, not wanting her son to feel dour after what he did for her the night before.

"You know Shining, last night was one of the best nights of making love I've ever had" Velvet said, catching Shining's attention. "And I mean making love, not fucking. I'm sure after so much time with Cadance, you know the difference." Shining blushed slightly, to her amusement. "You didn't just show me how good of a lover you are, but also how good of a son and stallion. As a lover, I want to say thank you for last night. And as a mother, I want to say I'm very proud of you."

"Aw geez, Mom. You're making me all bashful."

"I can't help it" Velvet said with a light chuckle "You've brought back old feelings of motherhood to me Shining. Feelings I've missed. So much so that I almost feel like...I may not mind if we tried some nights without using that spell of yours."

Shining's ears stood straight up and his face burned as his mother eyed him flirtatiously. He began shifting his eyes everywhere and sputtering, making his mother laugh before they resumed eating.

Something that Shining had begun feeling hesitant towards came to the forefront of his kind after all this. As they got closer and closer to finishing, Shining kept telling himself to tell her already. You've kept it from her long enough. You're gonna do it. It's a big part of why you're here in the first place. Both he and his mother had a few scraps left.

"Hey mom?" Shining said, catching his mother's attention before she could get up to take the plates "There's something I need to talk to you about."

Velvet stopped from raising in her chair when Shining spoke. Her instant thought was that something was wrong, but the tone of his voice and the look on his face told her this was not the case, though it was something of importance. "What is it, Shining?"

"I.....haven't been entirely truthful with you."

"Don't tell me you've been using spells secretly again like that time you cheated."

"No no no. Well......sort of.....but not really, I'll get to that. I think I should lead you into the truth." Shining put his hands together in front of his face and took a breath. "Me and Cadance want to have foals...."

Velvet wanted to gasp in excitement right there, but she restrained herself since Shining trailed off, meaning he had more to tell. "And?"

"We've...been trying, but we haven't conceived yet."

"Have you been trying enough?"

Shining tilted his head down at her.

"Right. Stupid question. So then, does that mean one or neither of you can't?" Velvet asked in a worried tone.

"Quite the contrary, actually, according to the doctors. We're both as fertile as possible. Cadance is basically a pre-heated oven. And me....well you could say my swimmers are gold medal Olympians."

Velvet snorted briefly at the mental image before composing herself. "Then what's the problem?"

"The problem is that while I may be fertile enough by normal pony standards, she's fertile enough by alicorn standards. It's like trying to use a sledge hammer to bring down a large building. There's nothing wrong with the sledgehammer, but that's too big a challenge for it. Cadance's uterus was described as an inhospitable environment. It will kill any non-alicorn sperm. So there's basically no chance of us conceiving."

"Oh sweetie, I'm sorry" Velvet said as she placed a hand on Shining's.

"I told her adoption was an alternative, but..." Shining continued "When Cadance wants something, she gets it. And she wants to carry a foal. So after our visit to the doctor, she immediately started scanning through the ancient Crystal Library. Only took her about an hour to find what she was looking for; I bet Twily would be jealous.

"She found an old book of fertility and conception spells, and in it, she found the perfect spell. And that's actually where you come in."

"Me? What could I have to do with this?"

"Well after she found the spell and explained it to me, she sprung her idea of me coming here, as a way of killing two birds with one stone."

"I still don't follow. What exactly is this spell?"

"It's a sort of surrogacy spell" Velvet showed her surprise but refrained from speaking to hear the rest. "A stallion with fertile seed impregnates a mare, then that mare carries the foal for some time, about five to six months. After that, a unicorn shoots a continuous stream of magic at the mare that will harmlessly phase the developing foal out of the original mother and then phase it into the desiring mother. This way the difficulty of a sperm reaching the egg is bypassed.

"It also has to be done within the five/six month time frame. If it's transferred too early, the foal won't take to the new mother. Let the foal develop in the original mother for too long and it won't be able to develop further in a new mother.

"So Cadance sent me here to pursue you romantically, and also to....ask you to be the surrogate."

Velvet simply stared ahead at her son, processing all he had just told her. Before she could even formulate a response, he continued.

"As to what I said about sort of using spells secretly.....you remember the contraceptive spell I've been using for us? The one that goes off with a flash?" Velvet nodded "Well...that's actually all it is. A flash. And nothing else. Nothing contraceptive about it."

Velvet's eyes widened in shock at this revelation. She opened her mouth to say something, but found that she couldn't, her mind swimming. Her eyebrows quickly knitted as she closed her mouth, forming a deep frown. Shining winced back into his chair slightly, averting his eyes.

Velvet shot up from her chair, her hands on the table, and attempted to speak again. She was only able to utter a few syllables before standing straight up and placing a hand on her hip, looking away from her son. Shining looked at her with a grimace of guilt, waiting for her to get out anything she needed to. He also noted that she somehow looked more intimidating in her half naked state than any time when he was younger.

Velvet turned in place and stared at the wall for a bit with her arms crossed. She then returned to her chair and stared at the table, seeming to think about what to say. When she finally looked at her son, she gave a disappointed sigh, apparently unable to come up with something, and settled for scowling at him while drumming her fingers.

Shining averted his eyes from his mother's stare again. They both stayed this way for a few minutes before Velvet leaned back into her chair. Shining looked back at her and saw she was looking off to the side, her face having softened, though not entirely, to a look of deep thought. With her still not speaking, he took a deep breath and decided it was the best time to continue.

"I know it was wrong to lie to you, especially in that case, and I undertstand if you're mad at me. And I'm sorry. But I only did it because Cadance and I are desperate for this, and because I think it could strengthen the bond between all three of us. To have a child made from all of us. There's not many I would think to ask for this mom, and I would really love it if you agreed.

"I know this is a lot to ask, and I want you to know you will be involved in the baby's life as much as you want. I personally think it would do the kid good to have two great mothers raising it. So what do you say? Are you in?"

Shining was right, Velvet was mad at him, and she wanted to lash out at him for his deception and secrecy. Her mind was flooded with one thought: that every time Shining Armor had orgasmed in her, every time he had filled her with his seed, nothing was stoping it from impregnating her, nothing stopping his sperm from attacking and penetrating an egg. Every time, her son could've been knocking her up. She wanted to lash out at him, but something was stopping her. Something that she just couldn't ignore.

Velvet looked at her son for a brief second before she shot out of the chair and swiped the plates off the table, climbing on and sliding across it on her knees until she reached Shining. She grabbed him by his shirt and pulled him into a heated and forceful kiss, surprising him. She pulled him toward her, forcing him to place his hands on the table for support. She then pulled him onto the table completely, laying him on his back before straddling him.

"You mean to tell me that the way for me to get grandfoals is to get pregnant by you and then have the foal transferred to Cadance, allowing me to avoid childbirth?" she asked before ripping his shirt with her bare hands "You bet your ass I'm in! Mm!" she moaned as she began to forcefully kiss him again.

"Well Cadance will be glad to know this" the somewhat flabbergasted Shining stated, having expected her to take some time again, like when he made his first proposal. "I'll send a message to her right away."

"After we give it another try" Velvet said with a mischievous smile, pressing her muzzle to his and staring into his eyes as she ignited her horn. Her magic then undid and removed the belt from his pants, making it sail across the room.

"That's for lying to me about the spell."

"And that's for not telling me about how I could get grandfoals sooner. Now let's see if you can make it up to me."

Unbeknownst to the pair, a certain neighbor was watching them from her spying hole in catatonic bliss, quickly making her own puddle in the grass as she furiously rubbed herself.

Velvet paused after fully rendering Shining naked. "Wait, we've been doing this a lot. How do we know I'm not pregnant already?"

"Cadance cast a certain kind of spell on me that would make it clear when I got you pregnant."

"How?"

"Can't say. She made me promise to keep that a surprise."

"Whatever" Velvet grumbled in annoyance before starting to rub herself up and down her son's quickly engorging cock.

Shining was actually curious as to how he had not yet impregnated his mother by now. Unbeknownst to him, Cadance had been secretive about a spell as well. She had cast a real spell of contraception on him that would last for the first two weeks. She wanted them to have as much fun as possible. Plus, she had a small plan to help in the last week.
