The aftermath of the great equestrian war

Lunarsmoke: there was once peace in Equestria, then discord, sombra, and chrysalis attacked leaving us vulnerable to an attack from tirek.  During the battle, I killed many changelings. The great war that followed I was injured I lost my eye and my front right leg. After the war finished I retired and now I'm a scientist.  ???:  maybe train some of the lunar guards on how to keep a clean and polished weapon and set of armor. Lunarsmoke: *the red mare looks at the mysterious stallion* What’s your name kind stranger?  ???:  My name is Duskstar, the lunar guard 2nd lieutenant. Duskstar: well what’s your name? *he was still wearing his freshly polished lunar guard armor with his freshly sharpened longsword*.  Lunarsmoke: I'm lunarsmoke and I will try to train the rookies *the mare smiled lightly as her daughter runs up and hugs her leg* I just don't do battle anymore after starting a family with my super special somepony.  Duskstar: understandable but all I’m asking is a bit of training miss smoke. Lunarsmoke: please call me lunar Duskstar. Plus I already told you I would train the troops.  Duskstar: thank you. no need for complications right? Lunarsmoke: *she looked at the blade she once wielded* as I said I’m done fighting I have a family now. when do we depart *she asked curiously*. Duskstar: we leave at sunrise *he said as he walked towards the door* well you leave at sunrise I leave now *he opens the door and leaves*.
