The Cutie Remark - Alternate Ending
A portal opens above the map table in Twilight's castle. Twilight Sparkle, Starlight Glimmer, and Spike fall out of the portal and onto the map table. The scroll slips out of Spike's arm as it rose into the portal and caused a magical explosion, making the streets of Ponyville sparkle. Twilight and Spike were going on a time travel mission to stop Starlight from messing up the friendship of the mane six, the rainboom was the thing that Starlight needed to stop. But, Twilight convinced Starlight that she's going to give her another chance to reform herself after what she did to torture her and her friends. Spike gets on his hands and knees and pressed his lips against the map table to kiss it. "One castle of friendship, check.", he stated.
Twilight's five friends, Applejack, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Fluttershy entered the map room, they were really surprised. "What in Equestria was that?", Rarity asked.
"Is everypony okay?", Fluttershy asked.
"Eek, can you do it again?", Pinkie Pie asked, excited with a squeaky voice.
"One group of amazing friends, check.", Spike stated again.
"Yeah, Spike, it looks like we're home.", Twilight said, putting a hoof on his friend's shoulder.
It took a short amount of time for one of the friends to notice Starlight standing near Twilight and Spike in a nervous feeling, and now they're getting suspicious about her. "Uh, what's she doing here?", Applejack asked.
Starlight felt terrible after what she did to them. She turned her face away with a sad look.
"Actually, it's kind of a long story.", Twilight said. "I might have some explaining to do."
Outside the map room, Starlight was pasting around the hallways with fear, thinking that she might get sent to a prison. Twilight was explaining the whole story of why Starlight hated cutie marks. Her friend, Sunburst was her only friend she had when she was a filly, he got his cutie mark and went to Celestia's school of magic in Canterlot. She never saw him again, nor she made another friend, because she was afraid a cutie mark might take them away as well.
"I mean, I knew my rainboom was awesome, but I never knew the whole word of Equestria could be dependent on it.", Rainbow Dash said.
"I think it's more than that.", Twilight said. "Friendship connects all of Equestria and undoing friends makes friendship less powerful."
"I can't believe y'all were able to travel through time like that.", Applejack said.
"That Starlight must be pretty magical.", Pinkie Pie remarked.
"She almost has any magic from anypony I've seen.", Twilight said. "My magic couldn't stop her, I had to convince her to stop herself. Once I realize that, everything fell into place."
Applejack thought for a moment. "If she's all powerful as that, we can't just send her on her way, can we?", she asked.
Twilight thought of the best idea she could make Starlight do. "I kind of have something else in mind.", she said.
Spike looked outside the room and saw that Starlight wasn't anywhere in the hallways. "Um, Twilight?", he said. "I don't see Starlight anywhere."
Twilight looked outside as well and she couldn't see Starlight either. She looked to her right and saw that she was leaving. "Starlight!", she said, running after the pink unicorn.
Starlight was at the front yard, getting ready to leave. But, before she did that, Twilight stopped her.
"Starlight, wait!", Twilight shouted. "You can't go."
"I have to, Twilight.", Starlight said. "I don't feel like I deserve to be here, my destiny is now to live alone."
"But, you can't live alone, I gave you second chance to improve yourself after what you did.", Twilight said. "Now, you're giving up on that?"
"Your friends didn't trust me.", Starlight said.
"But, I made them trust you.", Twilight said.
"Well, I still feel like they still hate me after what I did.", Starlight said. "I enslaved my own village, I took the cutie marks of you and your friends, and I imprisoned you along with them."
"Yeah, but, it was just a mistake you made long ago.", Twilight said. "I think it's time for you to move on from that. And you can't be alone, that's shows you being a nopony." The two turned they're backs to each other, as Twilight began to shed tears down her face. "This is why can't let you live that life, Starlight, because I felt that way to before I came to Ponyville, I didn't have a lot of friends in my old home. Twinkleshine, Lemon Heart, Moon Dancer, and Colgate were the only friends I had when I was a young filly in Canterlot. Then, I moved to Ponyville and never hung out with them again, because Princess Celestia wanted me to make new friends and learn lessons about friendship. One of my old friends, Moon Dancer felt the same way when I left Canterlot. When you feel like a nopony, you don't have any friends with you to be with, and I don't think you're a nopony."
"I'm sorry, Twilight..., but I do.", Starlight said. She began walking away from Twilight and disappeared, leaving Twilight with more tears shedding down her face. Starlight now had nothing else, but herself. She couldn't make any more friends after what she did to enslave an entire village, the only thing she now had to take care is herself.
