Boredom
Rarity was sitting at her sowing machine while she worked away on a design for a dress. While she worked away there was a knock on her door. She stopped her work and went on over to her door. When she got there she stopped and opened her door and saw that Pinkie Pie was there.
"Um....yes?" Rarity said confused. She liked her friend and all but for Pinkie to show up unexpected threw her off track. She didn't know what to do. She thought of either telling her friend to come later or just tell her what ever she wanted to tell her. She waited for her friend to speak.
"Can I come in?" Pinkie Pie asked her. Rarity thought about what to decide. She didn't know if she should let her in as Pinkie didn't have a reason why she was over at her place. Plus she had work. She looked at Pinkie Pie for a few moments and then responded to Pinkie Pie.
Rarity sighed as she rubbed her forehead in distress. She didn't know what she wanted to do. She looked at Pinkie Pie and stared at her while her mind when numb. Pinkie Pie grew concerned as she tapped Rarity on the shoulder to get her attention. Rarity shook her head and focused on Pinkie Pie.
"Rarity? Are you okay?" Pinkie Pie asked her friend. Rarity shrugged as they both looked at eachother. Rarity shook her head again as she saw her friend was still speaking to her.
"Yeah you can come in. Sorry Pinkie Pie I got distracted." Rarity said. Pinkie Pie smiled and sat down. She looked over at Rarity. Rarity blushed but looked right back at her. Pinkie Pie spoke to her.
"What do you want to do?" Pinkie Pie asked. Rarity had no idea of what to do. There really want anything to do in Ponyville. She was literally bored and she was getting frustrated that there wasn't anything do.
"Do what? There's nothing I want to do. There's nothing to do around Ponyville anyway. It's always work for some reason and its boring. I do the same thing everyday and i can't take it. What do you expect to do?" Rarity ranted. Pinkie Pie raised an eyebrow at Rarity as she couldn't believe that Rarity couldn't think of anything.
"What do you mean there's nothing to do? Rarity you can do anything in Ponyville. You can shop, fly a kite, eat at a diner, play in the park, have a party, play games and so much more! And you say there's nothing to do!" Pinkie Pie stated.
"I know I just don't know what to do." Rarity said with a sigh. Pinkie Pie shook her head and laughed at what Rarity told her and then proceeded to give her more options to choose from that she can do with Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie didn't mind whatever Rarity chose.
"You can make a dress! We can drink cocoa together! Anything! I don't care! Let's do something! I know you can think of something to do. If you can't figure something out then then we have other options." Pinkie Pie stated. Rarity pondered on her options. She shrugged.
"Do you want to take a trip? We will take a trip! How about out if we sing! There must be something that interests you!" Pinkie Pie said as she laughed. Rarity continued to stare at Pinkie as she tried to make up her mind on what she wanted to do. She then spoke
"Uh....I'm not sure what I want to do." Rarity said. Pinkie Pie giggled at Rarity and got an idea and then said something to persuade Rarity to do something with with her that day.
"If you say there is nothing to do one more time then I'll tickle you." Pinkie Pie teased her best friend. Rarity laughed at Pinkie Pie's statement and responded to her.
"Alright! How about some ice cream." She said laughing. Pinkie Pie chuckled and responded to Rarity.
"There we go!" She said laughing. They then went to get ice cream together as they enjoyed the walk during the beautiful day. They both got to the ice cream stand and bought themselves some. Rarity and Pinkie Pie both ate their treats and Rarity realized that there was stuff to do and she knew that she was having fun.
"You were right Pinkie Pie there is stuff to do!" She said as she giggled. Pinkie Pie chucked and responded to her friend.
"Told you! You just had to think! It's good to take a break from work besides your work must have been boring you. Pinkie Pie stated. Rarity nodded as she confessed that it did bore her after a while.
"It was getting boring. Thank you Pinkie Pie. I truly appreciate you doing this." Rarity told her. Pinkie smiled and kissed her forehead and then she hugged Rarity.
"Your welcome I'm glad you had fun." She said. Soon they both finished their ice cream and then they both got up to leave. They then left to enjoy the rest of the day together in the park. Rarity wasn't bored.
Soon it was the afternoon and Rarity and Pinkie Pie both went back to Rarity's place when they got their Rarity went inside and she turned and saw Pinkie Pie. Pinkie Pie smiled at her.
"Alright Pinkie Pie I'll see you around." Rarity told her best friend. Pinkie Pie giggled and responded to her.
"Alright Rarity!" Pinkie Pie said happily as she ran off to do something else. Rarity felt happier that she did something with one of her friends. She closed her door and went to do her own thing.
