It has been a year since the end of Season Five, and by no coincidence a year since the onset of the Usurper's invasion. He has destroyed everything in the path of his mistresses, leading their forces into battle to kill the last members of his former race, or transform them into twisted hunks of swollen, discolored body parts called the Mangled.
