//-------------------------------------------------------// Guilty Of Forgetting -by Evictus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Forgetting An Important Day //-------------------------------------------------------// Forgetting An Important Day    Rarity was at a diner in Canterlot drinking tea. She wanted to finish and get back to her home as she wanted to get some work done and see her friends again as well as she missed her friends. Luckily she wasn't to far away. It wouldn't take to long to get back to Ponyville.     She finished up and then went back to Ponyville. After she got there she went inside Carousal Boutique and found that Sweetie Belle was sleeping. She didn't want to wake her sister up so she sat down and looked at a fashion magazine as she wanted to be as quiet as she could.    Soon Sweetie Belle woke up and her face brightened up as Rarity was there she went over to hug her and then let go of her. She smiled a wide smile but Rarity just looked at her and at her magazine.     "So...Rarity how was your day?" Sweetie Belle asked. Rarity gave her a questioning look as she wondered why her sister was so happy as the day as just like any other day. To her knowledge the only reason Sweetie Belle was so happy was beca she she had a fun time with her friends.     "It was fine how was yours?" Rarity asked her sister as she was bored at that very moment. Sweetie Belle didn't notice that though as she giggled and then she spoke to Rarity while hopping up and down.     "It was excellent! It's my day today!" Sweetie Belle sang. Rarity just turned a page in her book as a Sweetie Belle talked to her. Sweetie Belle frowned as her sister seemed she didn't care about what she had to say.     "Why is it your day? What is so great about today that I need to worry about it?" Rarity asked as she got up and poured herself some tea. She then started to drink it. Sweetie Belle answered her question.    "Because it's my birthday." Sweetie Belle said. Rarity spat out her tea in shock and fumbled with the cup. It dropped in the sink and she face hoofed herself as she couldn't believe what she had heard.     "It's....you birthday?!" Rarity asked in bewilderment. She went over to a calendar and saw that Sweetie Belle was telling the truth. She had completely forgot it was Sweetie Belles birthday. She didn't have the cake or anything. She had to tell Sweetie Belle the truth. She went over to her sister and spoke.     "Sweetie Belle I'm sorry but I forgot. I if to get the cake or your presents or anything. I was so busy with my business that it completely slipped my mind. I'm sorry I can get it already for you now if you want." Rarity said as she tried to explain to Sweetie Belle about her dilemma.     Sweetie Belle got tears in her eyes and that scared Rarity. She didn't mean to make her sister cry. She felt horrible. She felt that she was a terrible sister who had done a poor job at not remembering her own sisters birthday. She was so embarrassed. Sweetie Belle spoke.    "You....forgot....." Sweetie Belle asked as tears leaked down her cheeks. Rarity shook her head as she went towards her sister as she tried to apologize to her but it was no use as Sweetie Belle wasn't having it.    "I'm sorry Sweetie Belle...I've been busy....I can't keep track of everything...." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle was so upset as she could not believe her sister would forget all about her.     "You forgot about my birthday! You were more interested in your work than doing anything for me. Your selfish Rarity! Now my day is ruined because of you! I hate you! Do you hear me Rarity!?" Sweetie Belle wailed. Sweetie Belle then ran out of Carousal Boutique as Rarity felt embarrassed and horrified at herself.     Rarity cried heavily as she cried in her guilty state. She felt sick by her actions as she had no idea how to fix them. It seemed like she was stuck in her mistake with noway out. She had to fined Sweetie Belle and apologize. She went off to calm down with a book.    She thought that later on Sweetie a Belle would come back and so she could have an apology ready for her when she does get back to Carousal Boutique. She tried to think up an apology for her sister. She wanted it to be genuine as she didn't mean to forget her sisters party.     She went up towards her room and laid in her bed as she thought about what she put herself into and how she was going to apologize. She thought up a few possible outcomes of her apologizing one was Sweetie Belle refusing to forgive her and the other was her forgiving her and then she would throw a party for her sister.    She felt like she wanted to get it over with so she waited for her sister. After a while her sister came back and Rarity came running down the stairs to meet Sweetie Belle. She then spoke.     "Sweetie Belle I'm sorry I forgot your party. It's your special day and I forgot all bout it and I feel guilty so I want to fix it but only if you will allow me to fix it. I'm very sorry for what I did." Rarity said in a genuine voice. Sweetie a Belle thought for a few moments and then hugged Rarity.    ""Your forgiven. I'm sorry I got so upset with you." She told her sister. Rarity was relieved that she could be given another chance. Rarity then let go of the hug and looked at her sister.    "How about I throw you one now?" Rarity said as she hoped that she could make up for forgetting her sisters birthday. Sweetie Belle smiled and nodded. Rarity quickly bought supplies and threw Sweetie Belle party as Sweetie Belle invited her friends over.   Sweetie Belle enjoyed her party as she ate her cake and opened her presents. A while later she was done and everypony went home. She hugged Rarity once again and spoke to her.     "Thanks Rarity I'm not mad at you anymore. I'm happy." Sweetie a Belle said. Rarity smiled and kissed her forehead.     "Your welcome. I won't forget next time." She said as they both hugged. They then pulled away and they both hung out the rest of the night.
