Nightmares

It was a wonderful night at the castle in Canterlot, there was a fresh breeze in the night and every pony except the night guards

still on watch patrolling in the peaceful hallways. For Luna she just finished up checking the last of the pony's dreams and was heading to her chambers for a good night rest, "Another night without rest tho at least my little ponies will have good dreams." a small yawn appeared on Luna's tired face before her stomach startled her.

"ha ha l should rest up for tomorrow night but l will go have a slice of Tia's yummy cake"

Luna chuckled at this and trotted off to the royal kitchen as a surprise was waiting for her.

A puzzled look formed on Luna's face when she saw spike raiding the cupboard looking for some treats.

Luna looked at spike in wonder while he snaked on some hidden Gems in the back of the cook's locker in the

back of the cupboard.

"oh hello spike what are you doing here in the middle of the night" Spike flinched and looked  at Luna with a mouth

full of gems he waved before he ate the last of the gems in his mouth.

"hi princess' Luna,twilight and I are

staying for tonight because of the recent dreams that every pony is having in Canterlot" spike explained

"What kind of dreams?" said Luna with curiousness of what kind of dreams these pony's

were having, she hoped it wasn't nightmares because they bring bad new plus (she'll have to stay up over time)

"That's just it, we have know idea what happened, each time we go to the same pony who had the dream they are all in the Canterlot hospital

the doctors all say that they are so traumatized they won't speak to any pony or even eat"

spike finished and yawned loudly then stretched out his body ready for bed.

"And that's all l know princess but you should ask Twilight in the morning about this stuff princess, I'm sure you'll get info off her more than

me" Spike looked at the hanging clock and said "well it's almost morning l should get to sleep when twilight get's

up sorry l couldn't  help more" Spike waved at Luna and lifted the kitchen

"thank you, spike have a good rest" Luna watched spike leave the kitchen after that she thought of how come she never heard of this

or seen it in any pony's  dreams but Luna knew she needs to look into it.

"l worry about the traumatized pony's they need a good happy dream so l shall go to them and stop

the fear within them"Luna thought out outside the chamber doors before one the guard tugged at one

hoofs to stop her.

"princes' Luna can l borrow some of your time for a moment?" Luna looked down the small blue looking

bat pony, his eye pure blue and his mane dark but with a light of purple.

"Of course black hoof what do need from me?" Luna said in her softest voice

"thank you, princess, we have reports of a creature stalking the ponies of pony Ville should we go and investigate the town my princess"  black hoof face looked so embarrassed but kind of proud of asking her.

"yes we must look after our ponies and their safety at night and keep them safe from danger" black hoof shook his

head and waved at the other two bat ponies behind him to go meet there.

"Thank yo, princess, my troops and l won't let you down" Then he bowed at her after taking off

into the night sky, toLuna was not worried about the ponies in the town she knew that her guards will look after it. plus Black hoof was there as well he was the best in combat out of all the stallions in his squad.

Luna turned back to her chamber door then tried to it open, the left the door was heavy and Luna didn't know why it was so hard to just open her door she did see scroll fall out before she knew it, scrolls poured out of the room to bury her under it. The two guards looked at the mountain

of scrolls next to them they both stared at it for a moment to see that Luna was under there.one of the stallions  proceed to dig her out with his hoofs but the other one used his magic left a hand full of her,they did get her out well about 4 minutes of digging a scroll mountain to find purest  blue diamond.Luna was glad that the guards were here in her time of aid she levitated all of scrolls back into her room away from the door and thanked the two guards, then they both went back to what they were doing.

Luna stepped back into her room and shut the door behind her, Luna's tired face looked towards her bed then back at all work of scrolls

on another side of her room "No Luna, l know your tired but l need to make some pony happy tonight" she thought to herself and marched

to bed and jumped right in before it was hard for her to go to sleep but waited for sleep to claim her.

Luna awoke in a dark void of darkness no pony was up because there would doors in front of her in a straight line next to each other and with their names on it, every pony she could one door on the far side on the left, it glimmered with a spec of light begging her to come closer.Luna began to tramp over to the door wanting to see which pony was still sleeping every pony is about up right? it is 10:39 Am" a clock appeared in front of her showing what the time is. Luna looks at the clock and back at the door, that seem to closer for some reason but brushed it off.

Luna walk towards the door in front of her, she got close enough to the scanned the door for the name of the pony who was still sleeping instead of a

name there was number was on it number six. Luna pondered of what this could mean but still she had to go inside the door and see witch pony is this, Luna's mind raced she didn't understand this at all while she was thinking something was watching her beyond the door.

Luna notice that the door was slightly open "hello? is somepony in there and if you are l am your friend

don't be afraid" Luna said in a calm voice soothing in any manner.

"oh am not afraid that  should," The figure said as if was he was right but still something was off

about him, his voice sounds demonic and a bit of lackey in life.

Before Luna was going to say ant thing she was interrupted by a hissing sound that came beyond the door

a loud bang caused Luna to step back a few feet away from the door as a large creature came out of it.

it stood up straight and had long legs and the same as his arm, his head covered in black goo but showed his eye's for sure

Luna knew that it observed her with those big black eyes she could see that it had a hanger of an animal.

"Huh your new so the pony's started making new pony yes, well go fig, are," said the creature as it stomped it's feet on

the ground and then looked behind to grad something that Luna couldn't see.Luna's face became grim of the sight of what

the creature was holding, a head of a earth pony the beast started to kick it like ball and stopped when Luna shouted.

"How Dear you kill one of my subjects you monster you will pay for this crime" she summoned a sword and charged at the

creature with hatred in her eyes.

The creature spring away from her attack then slapped her on the head,Luna crashed in to the door making it break in half.

Luna was laying on the ground she struggled to stand but no a piece of wood from the door was in her

four hoof, the pain hurt like a thorn bush all round her leg. a sly grin appeared on the creatures face he brought his claw to her

Luna didn't notice his claw she was too busy filling up with rage.

"Now then how can we make this fun for both of us hmm? oh of course l'm going to cut your leg off because

l feel so famished do you know how long l was wait for a good meal" said the creature his eyes filling up so wide

that it look like they were going to burst.

the Creature started to dig his claws into her back leg making the pain even worse than before

a smile grew wide on the creatures face blood and flesh started to tear more meat out of Luna's leg.

the cries of Luna grew and grew and grew till there was no more, laying on was a crying Luna begging the creature to but still continued on

cutting when the job was done he started to eat with a big toothy grin while he watched Luna twitch.

"why would you do this to me and my my subject they done nothing wrong so why?" The still Luna said waiting for a reply as the

pain speared though out her body and her voice in a low tone.

The creature looked at her in disgust "oh do really want to know?" with a serious tone, Luna just said noting she stayed still  in silence

"OK l will tell you a story of the great starswirl who made the greatest spell ever!" before he could speak more Luna used Last of her magic to pick up her sword to stub the beast from behind. The sword went though the creature's body like it was nothing, upon the creature's face was a surprised look "wow! good try you pony to at, you really thought you would kill me that easy you little shit now l got to you eat your other

leg too huh?"

Luna started to tear up she didn't want to let that beast eat her other leg and the creature got his claws out and was ready cut meat off her

body.before the creature got the chance a bright light busted out the creatures chest as the creature faded into a black the light

gathered around Luna and a soft voice told her to rest and began her way back to the real world  Luna closed her eyes and only hearing silence around her once more.

Luna awoke back in her bed breathing heavily while she tried to catch her breath he, she looked at the front door of her chamber and

turned to look at the pail of scrolls next to bed as she started to wail of remembering the pain of that creature who gave that much pain

to h er, one of the royal guards came in and rushed towards her with concern.

"Princess Luna what's wrong?" said the concerned guard

Luna looked at the guard with puffy eyes and said "please may you get twilight l need to talk to her in

private and about the reports of the dreams around here" as she said the painful voice.

"yes your highness" the guard left Luna started to whimper a little more

and looked outside the window "please get here soon twilight l need you" Luna looked down on

the sheets of her bed before she say a note that said " l'm coming back for you " Luna face looked in horror of what the

note said "oh no" she whispered
