Defender
A saint bound for a world of fire, to stop his brother from awakening a machine finds himself lost in spacetime. Vexed. At first, he seeks return. But soon finds a new world to defend, from the same ancient foe he already knows.
Saint-14. War machine, champion of the Last City, hero of light, slayer of Kells, leaves to hunt his fellow Guardian Osiris on the planet Mercury. He arrives too late, and Osiris has already woken the Vex machinations. This meeting was their last, for Osiris pushed Saint-14 into a Vex rupture, and the hero was lost to Earth and Sol.
On Equis, a monster looms in the night sky. Its Darkness plays with the hearts of innocents, and sparks a war of the Deep.
Saint-14 awakes, and is greeted by this strange world with offers of friendship and love.
