What Lurks in Dreams

It was cold on the floor, first coming to my senses I could see the midnight blue hooves of Princess Luna in front of me. Further back, I could make out the golden shoes of Princess Celestia behind her. I sat up feeling every muscle screaming at me to stop and I couldn't blame them; my recent ordeals didn't give me enough time to recover in between them.

"Buck me," I groaned "can't a colt gets some shut eye after death?"

I looked up at the Princess

If you’re hearing this message then I fear the worst has come to pass; Canterlot is in ruins and the Pony of Shadows has manifested in the real world. But not all is lost: we have one last plan to avoid the calamity our enemy brings. As we speak, my sister and I are turning back the clock and buying time to prepare for the Pony of Shadows. It will be up to you to seek an audience with us and alert us to the coming danger, save your friends, and bring the Elements of Harmony to bear against our foe.
