Chaos Incarnate
Celestia and Luna were very bored since they had done all their pranks and now they wanted to do something else instead, but they didn’t have any more ideas new or old. “I’m bored,” Luna said complaining very loudly right then now.
“I know, you can stop complaining about it,” Celestia said groaning now then.
“I have an idea, we could do that activity book that we got very recently!”
“You mean this one?” Celestia said, “It’s already done, and there’s no fun erasing it and starting it again, and as I already told you there’s nothing here for us in the castle at all, if we’re to have fun it will have to be outside.”
“Well do you think that mom and dad would join us to have some fun?”
“It’s very highly unlikely with how busy they are, maybe mom, but probably not dad, besides they would only take us to places that we’ve already been before.”
“Fair point, I want action and adventure, not something very old instead.”
“Well we could try exploring the kingdom via a map,” Celestia said smiling now then. “Yes, that could work, but where would we go first though exactly?”
“I already have somewhere in mind,” Celestia said smiling as she pointed at a particular spot on the map, “Right here, that’s the area that we explore.”
Luna looked at the map very carefully now then, “But it’s just a regular ordinary cave, there’s nothing that special there, and it could be dangerous as well too,”
“Perhaps maybe, but do you want to have some fun or not?” she said now then.
“Well I guess so, I mean what’s the worst that can happen in a cave?”
And with that said they smiled, packed up the map and then went on their way now. It didn’t take them very long to find the particular cave on the map.
“Alright, let’s go in and see what wonders this may hold for us,” Celestia said.
And with that they slowly wandered in cautiously together now then.
“Celestia, are you scared?” Luna said as they went deeper into it now then.
“Yeah, a bit I guess, I mean it does seem a little bit creepy and spooky.”
“Yeah, that’s exactly what I think of it too,” Luna said now then.
“Well come on sister, the sooner that we can find the end of this cave the sooner that we can leave and go on to explore other caves, or perhaps maybe just other various random places on the map since I don’t want to go into another cave.”
“Again, my thoughts exactly too,” Luna said as they went on deeper into the cave.
As they went in they started to hear the very faint sound of breathing.
“Do you hear that?” Luna said as her ears perked up to listen now then.
“Yes, I do, stay close to me sister, whatever is in here could be dangerous.”
“I most certainly am,” a very dark deep voice said, “And should you wish to leave with your lives I would highly suggest that you leave now before I decide to change my mind, after all, it’s not every day that I’m this generous.”
“Before we do can you tell us who you are exactly and what you want?”
“My name isn’t really that important, and it probably wouldn’t matter to you anyways, and as for what I want, well it’s very clear and obvious, peace.”
“If you can talk than I’m not afraid of you, show yourself right now.”
“You should be afraid, my little pony, very afraid of me,” it said as it laughed then now, and then they suddenly saw a shadow slowly approach them now.
“Sister, can we leave?” Luna said trying to plead and bargain with her sister now and use logic and reason, but Celestia was far too curious about it now.
“No, I’m far too curious to know what this creature could be, and if it turns out not to be friendly like a beast or monster than we can run, leave, and exit.”
And with that said they watched in fear and horror as it came to them.
“I have never really had visitors before, so I applaud you on not only finding this cave but also that you were brave enough to enter it, well done, my little ponies.”
And with that said they finally spotted the creature now.
It was a very small little tiny thing, it was barely bigger than they were now.
He had a serpentine body, a dragon tail, a goat’s hoof, a dragon’s claw, a somewhat pony shaped head, and also one oddly misplaced tooth as well.
“The name’s Discord by the way, not that it would matter to you.”
“What are you exactly?” Celestia said as she gazed at the very strange creature now then. “Oh, I’m just a draconequis, perhaps you’ve heard of my kind before?”
“We have, but can you please tell us why you’re so far from home exactly?”
“I got lost, and now I’m alone, but do you think that I could come live with you until your parents can talk to my parents and arrange the details later on?”
“Sure thing, any guest is welcome at the castle, even if they aren’t exactly a pony,” she said sling now then, “Come on, we don’t have all day to get there.”
And with that said they were on their way back to their home castle.
“Are you sure that we should take him to the castle?” Luna said now then.
“Yes, his parents could be very important and we also don’t want to exactly start a war with their race now do we?’ Celestia said as they walked onwards.
“Yes, I guess that you make a fair point, but still, I don’t like the looks of him, he makes me feel very nervous around him, and he’s also a bit scary too.”
“Ah, don’t say that about him, he’s just a kid like we are, and I think that he’s rather cute, and once you get to know him you’ll probably think that too.”
“That’s highly unlikely, but whatever you say sister,” she said now then.
And with that said the rest of the way back was completely silent.
When they got to the castle they quickly introduced him to their parents and explained how they had found him. Their parents were naturally a bit upset that they had decided to go exploring all alone but their punishment was a bit lighter than usual since they did have a guest there with them now. After some time in the castle Discord got to know the two fillies quite well indeed, so much so that he even decided to join in the party and fun for their birthdays.
But eventually they all learned the truth that Discord’s whole entire family and race were dead, and as to how exactly no pony knew, it was a mystery.
But Discord, he didn’t take the news very well, he still remained with them until one day he broke and left swearing to find what killed his race and then kill it for justice and revenge. And that was the last that they ever saw the friendly fun loving version of their friend because when they met next he was very chaotic and they had to eventually put him in a cold stone prison for the safety and protection of others. But as he lay there they did not know what he had found to make him so crazy and insane, and they never would since what he saw and faced he would never tell to any pony else even if he wanted to do so.
But what happened to him and what he saw is a story for another day now.
For now all that you need to know is that he still waited for his revenge.
