Chapters Twilight awoke to sounds coming down stairs.As she sits up she is pushed down. Looking up she is met with the spike inches from her face.
Spike looked at Twilight, "Sorry" Spike said.
Twilight just pushed him off and got up, Yawning she went down stairs.
As Twilight was eating, she heard knocking at the door.
"SPIKE GET THE DOOR!!!!!" she yelled fixing herself some food then grabbing a book and brush.Twilight sat down and begun reading her book while fixing her mane along with eating. This was a common thing all unicorns can do with magic.
"IT'S RARITY TWILIGHT!!!" Spike yells. Twilight sighs getting up from her table and trotting to the door.
"Hello, Twilight darling." Rarity says smiling.
Twilight smiles "Hello Rarity," Twilight says while yawning .
Rarity gasped seeing as how twilight had just got up. "DARLING HAVE U JUST WOKE UP!!!???" Rarity yells,
Twilight nods and Rarity almost fainted.
Rarity took Twilight by the hoof and took her to the bathroom and started to brush her hair "Rarity this isn't a big deal." Twilight says getting up but Rarity pushes her down again with her hoof."Yes, it is darling today-," Rarity is cut off By Twilight yelling her name.
"RARITY!!!" was all Twilight said as Rarity had accidentally pulled Twilight's hair, Rarity ignored that and continued to brush Twilight's mane.
"DARLING...do you do not know what today is!!!"Rarity says while brushing Twilight's mane and trying to find how to style it.
"No, what is so special about today is it someone's birthday or something?"Was all Twilight said still sleepy. Rarity looked at her with a confused look or simply 'Your joking right' look. "Are you kidding me twilight darling you do know it's the day of the gala,"Rarity says Twilight eyes went wide.
"OH NO, HOW LATE DID I SLEEP IN, I NEVER SLEEP IN WHAT TIME IS IT, HOW LONG UNTIL ITS TIME TO GO??"Twilight says starting to panic. Twilight never slept in and when she does it isn't for very long.
"Darling first things first you need to calm down and the second thing is I will help you get ready no I shall help u get ready," Rarity said,acting all high and mighty and trying to calm Twilight down she knew the purple pony has a Schedule in the morning and when she didn't follow it she starts to freak.
"Ok...I'm calm BUT WHAT IF I DONT EVEN HAVE TIME TO GET READY," Twilight worriedly asked. Rarity started to stroke her left wing.Rarity had noticed that when someone touches or pets twilight left wing it seemed to calm her down and twilight needed to calm down.
"Shh, sh, Twilight it's alright ok I'll help you ok trust me I know exactly what to do," Rarity says.
In a few hours Twilight was ready to go her mane was fixed in a braid her tail was curled at the ends and she was wearing one of the dresses rarity had made, since her old one well... just say it wasn't made for alicorn wings. The dress on the other hoof beautiful purple and pink and black dress.Twilight heard a knock at her castle door as soon as she opened it the others were there they dressed as well twilight and the others all headed to the gala.
"so Twilight are you going to sing tonight at the gala, "Fluttershy asked Twilight looked to her.
"Fluttershy I thought you were going to sing?"Twilight says Fluttershy sighed. As soon as they entered the gala Twilight was gone.
While Twilight was there she was debating if she should sing so Fluttershy didn't have to or should she just not do it at all? This question was going through Twilights mind awhile she was debating about it.
"Twilight are you still debating whether to sing or to not?"Applejack says walking behind twilight Twilight jumped a little.
"uh... yeah, I am." She says Applejack looks to her
"Well, you should? You have an amazing voice," Aj says winking before walking off. Twilight unaware of the shadow looking directly at her from behind, Sombra had his gazed fixed on Twilight 'she's so beautiful' Sombra thought before scolding himself 'There's no time to admire her remember what your here for, Sombra she's the enemy but then she's so beautiful, NO STOP THINKING THAT' Sombra thought fighting an internal conflict with himself.Twilight sighed "oh what am I to do?" Twilight asked sighing Sombra just wanting to go over there and comfort her and encourage her.
"Twilight are you alright?"Cadence says touching Twilight's shoulder.
"Oh Hello, Cadence and yeah I'm fine" Twilight assured hoping Cadence would buy it. Cadence didn't buy the lie from Twilight she knew something was up. Rainbow Dash came through
"HEY, YOU TOO COME ON FLUTTERSHY IS FIXING TO SING"Rainbow dash yelled Cadence and Twilight both nod before heading to the stage and taking a seat in the front.
Fluttershy starts to sing a pretty song (angel of darkness parody and no I'm not putting the link to it). Twilight started to dance a little before flying up and doing a spin in the air. Sombra took this as his chance to get close to her, becoming a dark cloud.He started to dance with Twilight and then the music stopped. Twilight opens her eyes to see Sombra she starts to whimper.
"Now, now twilight," Sombra said smiling and stroking her left wing. Twilight struggles to hold back a delightful moan but couldn't do it she soon let out a moan. Sombra hearing the moan smiled.
"STAY AWAY FROM THEE TWILIGHT!!!! "a yell was heard as Luna appears flying up and pulling Twilight away from Sombra.
"Now now Luna no need to get all angry. "was all Sombra Exclaimed Celestia came out of her room hearing the commotion.
"Sombra what is your business here?" Was all Celestia said Twilight was hiding behind her friend's, Cadence she was also hiding behind her brother Shining Armor.
Sombra suddenly covered all the princesses horn with black crystals or something it was cutting off their magic."Oh, I only come for 3 simple things," Sombra said
"HES BACK PANIC AND RUN PANIC AND RUN!!!!"A pony yelled Twilight on the other hoof was in a world of shock still.

"Yes I also want you to never use the crystal heart against me again if I get power hungry then you can use them" was all Sombra said smiling every pony just nodded and they were all listing intent for the 3rd one he looked directly at Twilight then he looked to Fluttershy discord who growled holding on to her.
"NO" Discord said holding flutters.
"Well, it was worth a shot "Sombra said Discord just growled Fluttershy clung onto him as discord teleported her home.
"well then for my third I want a one of the mane5 to marry me Fluttershy seems to be taken by that beast, Twilight hehe you could be the lucky one you could be a queen," Sombra said with a smile.Twilight remained silent afraid that she'll say the wrong answer to him.Twilight tried her best not to look up it's not like she has the hots for him right, She sighed and remained to look down Sombra got the message.
"Very well I will be in a cave u have 7 days 1 week on day 3 u return to me with the stuff I asked for, the bride needs to come on day 7 or sooner," Sombra said meaning it as a warning he looked at twilight who indeed was looking at him
"I'll give till Wednesday "Sombra then said holding up Twilights head with one of his shadow like arms Twilight pulled away from Sombra as he left
" it should be me to go to the cave " Rainbow dash said.
"NO it should be me," Rarity said Twilight was silent Celestia noticing Twilights face went to talk to her, while everyone was still arguing over who should go and who shouldn't go

"Nothings wrong princess,"Twilight replied not turning to look at Celestia for fear that Celestia will see something is wrong.

Celestia just sighed nd walked off Twilight just sat there a lot of questions in her mind. luna walked up to Celestia.
"Sister I fear that if no pony commits to the bride he will take tho course of action, "Luna said looking back to the main 5 then to twilight only Celestia nodded cadence was with shining armor and the ponies helping them.
"Sister I to fear for the safety of Twilight sparkle but fear not Twilight will figure out a plan she always does,"Celestia said smiling.
Luna sighed knowing there was no point in fighting with her sister she was indeed right Twilight always does come up a plan but it scared her to think of the purple pony becoming twilight slade once more Luna sighed and walked back to her sister.
Twilight turns to their way what were they to do, He had looked to her and Fluttershy so what could she do her wings flutter in amusement but then fear struck her what if he turns her into twilight slade oh she couldn't shake the thought of going back to twilight slade again. Twilight looked to spike who looked to her.
"Hey Twilight come on we need to go home before this gets worse," Spike said Twilight thankfully nodded and took off flying home as soon as Twilight landed she saw the door had already been opened.
"That's ...odd I remember closing the door before I left?"Twilight said getting a magic blast ready she took a step inside Spike was right behind her.
"why hello Twilight dear." a dark voice said as soon as Twilight heard it she knew who it belongs to
"S-So-Sombra what are you doing here in my home?" Twilight said confused and scared at the same time Sombra smiled seeing Twilight's scared and confused face perfect he thought happy.
"Now Twilight lets get down to I can't be married to a sports pony a party pony and a fancy pony Twilight you should become my bride no my queen," Sombra says waiting for her response Twilight could not believe this he had just said he wanted her to become his bride which made her wonder will she be better off without her friend's Twilight looked at him
"let me sleep on it."
"you know being in a damp cave is worrisome bats and stuff maybe you could let me stay here until I get my own kingdom please princess you live all alone in this castle and this place is amazing by the way and its only just for a few days"
"Fine but just for a few nights ok"
"yes princesses Twilight I promise now let us sleep"
Sombra and Twilight headed to different places in the castle how was she supposed to tell this to her friend's while that happened Celestia had freed her horn from the rocks same with luna and cadence.
"Tia...." luna says
"yes luna"
"what if Twilight marries him"
"That should not happen Twilight is strong she is not known to give up easily"
"yeah but Celestia I'm worried she seemed oh I DONT KNOW SCARED" Cadence butted in
"Yes, I noticed that too but we are all tired now let us get some sleep,"Celestia said before walking to her bedroom

"TWILIGHT DARLING YOU CANT BE CONSIDERING LETTING HIM STAY IN UR CASTLE!!!"Rarity said she couldn't believe what Twilight just said Fluttershy and Pinkie pie both were silent. Applejack looked to her Twilight tried not to look at her.
"Now listen here sugar cube I don't think u should have Sombra living in your home HES A WARLORD the last thing we need is someone kicking you out of your castle," Applejack said backing Rarity up Twilight knew they were right but what else was she to do the talk he had with just made her feel bad. Twilight sighed knowing that any moment now Rainbow, Fluttershy, Or Pinkiepie was bound to open their mouth next.
"Twilight maybe AJ and Rarity are right maybe u should kick him out I wouldn't mind it if I was you"Rainbow dash finally spoke Twilight groaned in annoyance knowing they were all right. Twilight knew that sooner or later if no one became his bride he might actually use her castle for himself she got up from her where she sat and was fixing to head back.
"Twilight where are you going"An innocent voice spoke.
"Oh nowhere Futters I'm just heading home,"Twilight said back not turning around to face Fluttershy knowing she might have seen it in Twilight's face that her real purpose to go home was to see him. Fluttershy sighed knowing not to question her for Fluttershy could only think of what Twilight must be dealing with right now.
Twilight on the other hoof took off flying as fast as she could. Once she landed she looked to see her castle wasn't burnt down a sigh of relief escaped Twilight's mouth.Twilight walked inside closing the door behind her with magic she trotted to go to her room but only to see a specific some pony to be looking at her library. Twilight stopped and watched Sombra read the books she had.
"You know it's amazing how some of these books talk about the same thing just explaining it differently," Sombra says looking up at Twilight.
"I honestly did not realize that," Twilight said trying not to make eye contact with Sombra.
"It also amazes me how you have this book"
"Where did you get that??"Twilight says grabbing the book with magic how did he get this and where did he find this she thought.
"oh, so you know about this book for how long have you had this book??" Sombra asked Twilight lowered her head not wanting to tell him. Sombra sighed and grabbed the book from Twilight and puts it away on the bookshelf. Sombra would stop looking to Twilight wondering if something was wrong with her.Twilight sighed walking to her room a simple question on her mind should I tell him that I will become the bride? Sombra could see it written all over her face there was something she was hiding from him. Sombra just knew she was hiding something. Sombra sighed following after her when he got to her room she had her face in her pillows.
"Twilight what are you doing???" Sombra asked questionably Twilight instantly looked up from where she was.
"S-S-Sombra what are you um why are you here?!" Twilight asked
"I followed you Twilight is something wrong?"
"N-no why do you ask?"
"You seem disoriented"
"Yeah and what are u going to do???" Twilight said when she felt something touch her wing.Twilight turned to see a shadow like an arm thing stroking her left wing. Twilight struggled not to moan from this but her eyes told the truth she was enjoying this. Sombra smiled seeing as how she was enjoying this he stopped a few seconds later.
"Do you feel better now?" Sombra asked.Twilight nodded and started to read Sombra left the room. Just as she was getting settled Twilight heard a knock on the door. Twilight got up to answer the door Twilight soon reached the door usually Spike answers the door but lately, he has been avoiding her for some odd reason. Twilight hesitated to open the door worried about who was on the other side.Twilight peeked through the mail slot to see a white horse with wavy rainbow hair.
"Princess Celestia...what are you d-doing here??" Twilight asked, scared and confused at the same time
"fear not I came for a visit," Celestia says, She looked at Twilight giving off a warm smile.
"A VISIT!!!"
"yes, has something gone wrong??"
"WHAT NO?!"
"Then why are you acting so odd??"
"uh I'm not acting o-odd oh no, no"
"Twilight who's at the door??"Sombra asked, Then he saw Celestia and she saw him. Twilight backed away from Celestia looked to her Twilight gulped looking up at Celestia.Sombra growls at Celestia, she walks inside the castle looking at him. Twilight gulps this was not what she had in mind when she opened the door.
Twilight looked to Celestia then to Sombra. "I can explain," she says
"Then please explain to me princes' Twilight and do tell me why Sombra is in your castle," Celestia says
"Well he asked is he could stay for the night and I said yes but his company has been really great I really appreciate it"
"huh...did you say??"Celestia asked her, Twilight nodded
"B-But he's a warlord and a king" Celestia then says
"I DONT CARE CELESTIA"
"Twilight I'm worried for your safety"
"MY SAFETY MY SAFETY SINCE WHEN ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT MY SAFETY!!"
"SINCE I SAW THAT MONSTER HERE!!"Celestia yelled at Twilight who became silent once Celestia yelled. Sombra looked at Celestia in shock never in his life would he think he would see Celestia yell at her student like that.Twilight could not believe Celestia yelled at her of all ponies she would look down then knew that she had to tell him now before any other pony can stop her.
"Sombra" Twilight says turning to face him.
"yes Twilight," Sombra says looking at her
"I want to become the bride," Twilight said to him Celestia was shocked at this Twilight couldn't be serious.
"Twilight you can't be serious now??"Celestia asked her, Twilight sighed and nodded.
"I am Celestia and I am very sorry but I feel like no pony will become the bride at will which is why I am...."
"If you think you can do this then I trust you.....Now Sombra I have your castle we have all agreed for you to have the crystal empire well somewhat near the empire. I mean you get your own place and ponies to rule over but it's somewhat further away from crystal empire."
"I'm ok with that"Sombra says to her. Twilight looked at them both not realizing her friends were listing in on to conversation. Twilight really didnt care at this point she had already said it they couldnt stop her now it was already to late for Twilight now she was indeed becoming the bride.
Sombra turned to Twilight and smirked evilly.Twilight whimpered a little scared she then heard the doors swing open. Twilight whipped her head towards the noise there they there were Twilights friends all five of them. Sombra muttered something under his breath before using one of his shadow like arms lifting Twilights head to face him. Sombra summoned a necklace with a ring on it and a crown fit for a queen.
"TWILIGHT NO!!"A voice yelled, Twilight turned to see AppleJack she ignored her.
"TWILIGHT DONT!!" Rairty yelled at Twilight looking at princess Celestia who unfortunately had her head hung low.
"TWILIGHT,PLEASE LISTEN TO US YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS."Rainbow Dash said looking to her with a pleading look on her face.
"I-I'm s-sorry guys but I must do this now before you can say a word Pinkie Pie or talk me out of it Fluttershy,I'm just going to let you know that this is my choice and I chose this he didn't force me to or threaten me I chose this." Twilight said, looking at her dear friends with sadness in her eyes. Celestia nodded at Twilight not trying to show the sadness she was feeling.Twilight turned back to sombra before nodding then a flash of magic occurred. Twilight looked down and her neck a necklace with a ring was on it Twilight took the crown and placed it upon her head.
Twilight looked down Im so sorry I'm so very sorry Twilight thinks to herself she couldn't believe she was doing this.PinkiePies hair went straight down, Fluttershy started to cry a little, Rainbow Dashes jaw dropped, Applejack looked down,and Rarity looked away.
"Can I at least say goodbye first?" Twilight asked looking up at Sombra.
"Yes I suppose you can but try to make it quick." Sombra replies flatly .
"Ok"Twilight says trotting up to her friends who hugged her instantly.
"Bye Twilight be safe and please don't get hurt."Fluttershy says
"Make sure he doesn't try to make a move on you."Rainbow dash says growling
"Make sure you eat lost of cake and other stuff."PinkiePie says smiling
"Darling when you get there Send a letter to me with some fabric in it ok"Rarity said Twilight giggled but nodded.
"Now look her sugar cube if he tries to pull anything you tell him off"Applejack whispers to Twilight who giggled and nodded
"Will do"Twilight says before turning away. Sombra smiled and a bunch of shadows went around them teleporting them to there castle.
(2hours later
Twilight sighed getting up she was in her room and she hated it but that's how it was now Twilight just hoped he kept his promise as she would to him.Twilight heard hoof steps walking her way she instantly grabbed some random book and jumped on the fluffy bed and started to read.Twilight heard a few knocks at the door she looked up and debated if she should say they could come in or not.She debated this over and over again until her debate was finally over,when the door opened revealing Sombra.
"Hello Twilight."Sombra said walking inside
"H-Hello S-Sombra."Twilight replied her voice cracking a little.
"So are you used to your new role yet my Queen?"
"A little it's still a lot to take in."
"I see....."
"What do you mean??"
"Well Twilight your afraid of this new role because you always had your friends there to help you rule now....you don't know what to do because you and your friends always voted on choices together but now no" Sombra said,Twilight knew he was right it was exactly that she was afraid to rule on her own and he knew this.Twiight hung her head down in shame and nodded.
Somber looked at Twilight before lifting her head with his hoof on her chinTwilights gaze diverted to somewhere else he kissed her forehead before walking off to go back to his duties.Twilight was left a gaping mess she didn't know what had happened and didn't want to know honestly. There was a tint of red on twilights cheeks.
