Shining was racing around the master bedroom, trying to find an alternative hiding position to stow away what he had just been enjoying only a few moments ago. Shining didn't quite know for sure if his daughter was asleep or not. "Yeah, laid her down about an hour ago. Haven't heard a peep out of her yet, so she must be having good dreams."
Cadence stretches a little and lays her head on Shining's stomach. "Good, maybe I can relax just a little bit before I'm hauled away to another meeting or something." She scoots her body closer. It wasn't hard to figure out that Cadence was in a particular mood and that Shining was ready to deliver. Cadence usually does this after a stressful or long day, and soon the thoughts of the scare prior to Cadence being in the room swept his mind as she moved up and kissed Shining passionately.
Almost as if he had been trained, Shining immediately grabs Cadence by her sides and pulls her on top of him, allowing for a more comfortable kiss and positioning. As Shining's back moved slightly more to the right, he could feel something jabbing him. It was jabbing him pretty hard too.

Shining smiled, “I can always do my training, hurt or no. You'd be amazed some of the things I've had to do with something as minor as back pain." Flurry started to wiggle around, wanting to be let go. So Shining did just that, allowing Flurry to fly out of his arms and around the foyer. He smiled, noticing how good she was getting at flying.
"Alright Shiny," Cadence says, nuzzling him gently. They stare at each other for a moment, smiling. That was until Shining noticed that Flurry now had an object in her hooves as she was flying around and making "zoom zoom" sounds around them. She had found the book. The bucking book!

Cadence is silent. She picks up the photos that were hidden within the book, sorting through them slowly, analyzing them. She looks up at Shining, "Are these all of me?" Shining just blushes and nods. Suddenly, Cadence is giggling. No, laughing. Laughing quite a bit, too. "Were you like, trying to hide these from me?" she asks.
"Well.. yeah?" Shining was utterly embarrassed. He shouldn't though. I mean, he was married to Cadence, but he has had those photos for quite a long time.
Cadence was still recovering from her laughing fit. But she did notice something peculiar. "Why am I in a dress in all of these? Every single one I'm wearing some type of dress."
He didn't have a choice but to tell her now. "Well.. You see. The first time I had ever say you, you were wearing a dress - you look very stunning in a dress by the way - so every time I came across a photo of you in a dress.. I kept it. I've had most of those before we were even together.."
"So why did you hide them even after we were?"
"I just didn't want you to think I was creepy because I always admired you. Especially in a dress," he says, trying to avoid eye contact.
Cadence giggles a little bit more and trots up to her husband, kissing him on the cheek. "It's really not that big of a deal. I mean, the first time I saw you, I'll admit I stared a little more than I should have," she says, smiling. This makes Shining smile too, the pressure in his chest beginning to lift.
"So it's not an issue?" he asks.
Cadence shakes her head. "Actually, it's a good thing. Cause now.." Cadence starts grinning, obviously toying with new ideas in her head. Shining tilts his head curiously. He goes to speak, but Cadence cuts him off. "Just meet me in the room in about ten minutes okay? No need for curious questions."
She starts making her way there, passing Shining closely and brushing her tail across his nose and side. Whatever Cadence had planned, it certainly peaked Shining's interest.
The room was dark when he entered. He was tempted to turn on the lights, but before he could, the door shut behind him and he could no longer see. As to not fall over anything, he just stood still, waiting for whatever it was his wife had planned.
