This is the life story of Sombra. Before he became a Corrupted King. He cared for his Crystal Ponies. He especially cared for Two other ponies. The two ponies that felt the same for him. This story takes place before Celestia and Luna were born. But there was Two other Alicorns there at the time. Mother Mare and Princess Chrysalis. As Princess Chrysalis Leaves to meet with Mother Mare. She leaves the next best pony in charge of her Empire till she returns. This is the story of "The Fall of A Shadow"

Sombra was abandoned as a young colt. Left in a Ally in the Crystal Empire. One Night, a lone Saber Crystal Guard was making her rounds. Each time she walked under a light, You can see her real color. She stopped under a light and looked around. She had a Silver Helmet on, Silver Body Armor, And Silver Horse Shoe's on. Under her armor, she had a White Coat, Blue Eyes. A small scream could be heard. She looked around curiously trying to pin point the location. Her ears perked up "Found it" She started running to the area. Coming to a very dark ally way. Her horn glowed, a light blue aura surrounded her horn lighting up a small path as she walked. Walking slow in fear it might be a trap. But what seemed to be a scream turned to small crying. She picked up the speed a little, But came to a dead end. Nothing but overfilled garbage bins, broken boxes, and garbage bags cut open. She looked around still, Silence. Mumbling to herself "Where did that sou-" She froze. In the corner of her eye she slowly moved her head to see a small black colt with a black mane. She went to him going down on to her front hooves. She nuzzled the small colt. And in a soft voice. "Cold, you poor thing" She gently picked him up by the scurf placing him on her back. She got back to the street she was patrolling on. Now starting to run to the Crystal Castle. Two Male Guards opened the door for her as she trotted in. Now at a slow pace she walked in the castle. She saw the time as she walked passed a clocked. "2:26 A.M. She should be up still" Trotting up the stairs taking a left, she came to another big door. Then she knocked on the door. "Princess, It is Scarlet Love" One of the doors opened. She slowly entered. "Princess, I know you said only in a emergency to come to you. But this time, I have a small one" turning her body so the princess could see. The Princess stopped writing in a book. The Princess turned her head. Another White Coated body, but green aura on her horn, with bright green eyes. Than a soft soothing voice came, "My dearest Scarlet, how many times must I tell you. Call me Chrysalis." Chrysalis got up. All white body, Green Mane and tail. Walking to scarlet to be by her side. "Hmmm" Looking at the small colt, Chrysalis grabbed him by the scurf taking him to a bed. Placing him down softly she rapped him in a blanket. Chrysalis looked at Scarlet "Be a dear, go get some food in your stomach for good work, then bring up some food for the colt." Scarlet snapped to attention and nodded "Thank you, Chrysalis" Scarlet saluted and then left out the door. Chrysalis looked down at the colt in the blanket. She notice he started to smile, she couldn't help but smile as well. She gently stroked his mane back. The colt than slowly opened his eyes. The first words out of Chrysalis mouth was "You have pretty green eyes, young one." The colt looked scared, but replied "T-Thank you". Silence fell over the two. Chrysalis looking at him, the colt looking down at the covers. Chrysalis then asked "Do you have know what happened?" He shock his head no. And asked "Do you know where you are?" He again shock his head no. And Finally "Do you know your name?" He looked up. Then at her. "S-Sombra" he replied looking at her. She smiled "Don't worry my dear, I will take care of you now. You are safe." Sombra smiled "I-I am?" Chrysalis kissed his head with a smile "You are. Have you eating anything?" Sombra looked down "N-No." there was a sudden knock at the door causing sombra to jump a little. Chrysalis placed her wing on him "Its okay sombra. Its the pony who found you" After the knock the door opened with Chrysalis's magic. In walked Scarlet, Not in armor. Sombra for the first time, saw his hero. Light Blue Mane, White Coat, Sky Blue Eyes, Sombra was amazed. In behind her was a tray of food. Light blue aura around her horn and tray. Scarlet then sat the tray down in font of Sombra. Sombra looked at it, Chrysalis smiled and said "Go on, it is yours dear. This is Scarlet Love. She will be here for you when I am not here." Sombra looked her and smiled as he started to eat. Scarlet left to her room. As Sombra ate, Chrysalis stoke his mane. "Welcome home, Dear."
