//-------------------------------------------------------// Hidden Scarf's Escapades -by VulpiBard- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Infiltration //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 1 Authors note; I know this chapter is EXTREMELY Short, but its only for a quick example of how this Fanfic will go, the next few chapters will hopefully be MUCH longer. Oh, and did you know that You need at least one thousand words per chapter? Well that's something I'll fall short of by one, or two, or twenty-three. "Get on with it, I've been standing here waiting for my story for ages!" Right, of course, sorry Scarf, but for now, I leave you with a words of wisdom; "Though viewed as small and weak, even the greatest of creatures fear the mouse. The elephants make way, giving it a wide girth, the lion respects it for freeing it from the net, and lest it ruin his day does the man fret." -Made up on the spot, VulpiBard. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hidden Scarf stood in the shadow of a pillar, casually sweeping his eyes over the scene before him, stopping only for a second on his prey before moving on. He had been sent with a challenge to lift the first draft of the latest Daring Doo book, signed by the author and archaeologist herself. Granted it was a small task, not really worth much, but the only real reason he was doing this was to "get familiar with the style and personalities of ponyville and its inhabitants."or so said his current commander from Equestria's thieves' guild. But he could dwell more on that later, now he needed to focus. His current setting was the town hall, this years ERU-Con (Enthusiastic Readers United, gag) was being held there. The target was approximately thirty meters ahead at an angle of forty-six degrees to the right. Escape routes included, of course, the front and back doors, as well as an official entrance for speeches and such, but the latter was likely under heavy guard and the guards at the front were checking bags and costumes for anything dangerous, but would just as quickly confiscate any stolen items as well. There were no guards inside the 'con (courtesy of the peaceful times they lived in,) but there were hundreds of witnesses, one of which kept complimenting Scarf on his "Ring Wrath" costume, whatever that was. He was wearing a black hood and lower face mask, as he always did when on a mission, in order to keep people from knowing who he was. This still wasn't all of his worries. there happened to be a pair of mares to his left, a unicorn and pegasus, staring at the book intently, the winged one even drooling a bit. Scarf chuckled inwardly. Quite the mission you've given me, Mischief. The dark furred earth pony stepped out from the shadows, it would have to be the back door, he already knew how to get the book, and it was likely the path of least resistance. Trotting over to a group of ponies fanfillying over a stand of books, he checked the authors name. "Hey, is that Jr. R Token?" Hidden Scarf asked, pointing across the room at a random pony. As planned, the ponies galloped across the room to see for themselves. He followed, but stopped midway when he was between the target and its admirers to look up as if his name had been called. Turning around and picking up the book in one gracefully disguised action, he looked out over the crowd for the imaginary pony, then, pretending to find them, walked off in that direction. Hearing the shouts of alarm behind him, he used the constantly shifting crowd to disappear amongst all the other masked figures, hastening toward the rear exit, He was home free! Or not. As he exited the building he came face to face with a large red earth pony. "Er, hi!" Scarf said cheerily. The stallion didn't react, "got a bit crowded in there, so I came out for some fresh air." He lied, thinking quickly. The stallion maintained his expressionless silence. then; "Eeyup." They stood like that for what felt like hours, Hidden Scarf sweating gallons under his cloak and mask, hoping that the stallion wouldn't notice the bulge in his saddle bag, or that he would think it part of the "costume." The stallion merely stood there, staring blankly forward. After a while, Scarf began walking down the alley. "I think its getting late." He said, mentally kicking himself for talking so much. fortunately he was still using his magical voice changer, otherwise he would be quieter than big red, who was still staring blankly at him. "I should get home, I have a busy day tomorrow." and with that, he took of jogging down the street. "So, Scarf, congratulations on your first mission." the playful voice of Ponyville’s guild leader, Mischief Master came. "I think your ready for a permanent position in our little corner of Equestria." The master was sitting behind a large, finely carved wooden desk, and a pair of wings could be seen silhouetted against the back wall. There was much speculation on whether those were his and he was an earth pony, or they were planted to make sure his identity was kept hidden. Even in Canterlot, where only the best thieves worked, there were widespread rumors of Mischief, none of which were ever based on a solid source. "Thank you, Master." Hidden Scarf bowed his head in respect to the shadowed form. A wide, white toothed grin could be seen through the darkness. Canines, the leader was truly a mystery. "Oh please, my name sounds so formal, I really should get it changed. But for now, you're dismissed." "If I may, why did we need to steal such a worthless Item?" "IT ISN'T WORTHLESS!" The outburst hardly startled the seasoned thief, Mischief was known for his strange habits and actions. "It’s a priceless work of true literature, no one rights books as well as...” The master stopped abruptly, then made a rather phony coughing sound. “Ahem, I meant to say, we needed to announce the guilds presence in Ponyville, let them know they're being watched, the book itself is of little consequence, it will turn up again in a few days." Master tossed the book onto a nearby shelf. "You were planning to read it, weren't you?" Scarf asked. "Well of course." Mischief said with another grin. "It would be a shame to let such an opportunity go to waste." Scarf rolled his eyes, luckily the guild leader was also known for his leniency. "You may go now, I hear you moving to a new home, congratulations!" Hidden Scarf face-hooved. "Sir, you already knew I moved, and why, don't try to pretend." He said, getting up and leaving. "Hee hee, the ponies are so interesting, I wonder what we can get them to do next?" "Quite, we're not doing this for entertainment, we have a goal" "Oh please, you and your goals, complete fun ruiners they are." "Both of you hush, we need to make sure that things settle safely, if everything is blown too soon, centuries of preparation will be for naught." //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 2 //-------------------------------------------------------// Infiltration A/N; Hello again, hopefully this chapter will be much longer that the previous one. ^^" If any of you has suggestions or criticization... stuff, (don't even know if thats a word) just comment. Now for the words of wisdom; "If a person has just one good friend, their happiness is doubled and their life immeasurably enriched. This is genuine wealth." -Daisaku Ikeda ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Birds chirped happily as the sun slowly rose on the horizon, warming the valley beneath it with its glow. Woken by the noise, a black earth pony stepped casually out of his cloth tent. Stretching and yawning, he used his mouth to remove the stakes holding his tent up, then packed it with the rest of his belongings in his saddle bag. Looking out to the town in the distance, he sighed and began trotting forward, flipping his brown mane out of his eyes. Scarf felt naked without his cloak, but it was necessary, he would draw much to many eyes if he walked into Ponyville with a hood and mask on. Stopping at a crossroads, he looked at the sign. left to Sweet Apple Acres, or right to continue into Ponyville. His route was intended route was obvious, but he may be able to enter the small village without catching any attention if he went through a back way. He turned to the orchard. "Where are you going, silly? Ponyville is the other way!" Hidden Scarf jumped. "I, er, have business at the orchard." He stumbled over his words, this was the first time anyone had snuck up in him. He looked over his shoulder to see who it was. "Ooh, are you moving in? Is that why you need a job? I should throw you a party!" The pink mare behind him began rambling about what kind of party she would throw, but Scarf wasn't listening. He was more interested in how this pony had snuck up on him. Did she fly, no, no wings. Maybe magic, but that’s hard to do without a horn. "-But then if we had all that pie, AJ might not have enough to sell, and that would be a bummer. Maybe we could have carrot pie, ooh that would be interesting, I wonder if Carrot Top has enough for something like that. If not we could make some carrot cake. But wait, does carrot cake need more, or less carrots than pie?" Scarf shook his head. "I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name." He said politely. "Don't be sorry, silly billy, no-one can catch names" she paused for a moment, grinning ear to ear, "Oh! Now I get it! You wanted to know what my name is!" Scarf nodded with a small grin. "Well why didn't you say so? My name is Pinkamena Diane Pie, but you can just call me Pinkie." Pinkie Pie said gleefully. "Pleased to meet you." Scarf said, turning back to the road and trotting lightly, he didn't want to be snuck up on again by anypony else. Pinkie Pie either didn’t follow him, or was following the same way she snuck up on him. After about a half hours walk, he finally made it to the farm, at first glance, there was nopony there, So he kept walking, hoping to get to the orchard quickly so he could hide among the trees. "Well howdy there, anythin' I can do for you?" Of course. Scarf turned around slowly to look at the speaker, An orange earth pony in a large stetson and blonde mane. This must be Applejack, the farm pony. "'Part from interviewing you 'course." "Interview?" "Well yeah, Pinkie pie already told me how you was looking for work here, and ah would be most glad to give you a job on our farm here." Hidden Scarf slowly examined the pony, she seemed honestly welcoming, and a job wouldn't be too bad to have, even if it did count against his current plan. He was nothing if not good at improvising. "Okay..." He said slowly, still unsure if he wanted to do this, "what kind of work would I have to do?" "Oh, we got lots of stuff you could help out with, startin' with some good old fashioned apple buckin', then maybe come saturday, y'all could help with the stand and selling them apples, how's that?" "Um..." Scarf thought for a bit, maybe he could make this work to his advantage, "Okay then, when do I start?" "Yer highered, yall can start right away if'n yer wantin' to, or yeh can go get to know everypony in town." Applejack said. reaching out a hoof, the black pony shook it. "I'll need to find a place to stay, though," He explained. "Oh, no need for that, partner, y'all can stay in the barn, it may not look like much, but it's mighty comfortable." Scarfs eye twitched slightly and he took a step back. "Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll need a more permanent residence, I'll just come back here once I've found one." A.J. looked crestfallen. "Alright then, it's just we don't get many visitors round here, much less ones lookin' for a job." Scarfs eye twitched again, really he thought, Why do I always have to do the right thing? He suddenly heard one of Masters pieces of advice ringing in his ear. ”heeheehee, sympathy is want everypony needs and has, its only when you let it get the best of you that it becomes dangerous. Of course you just so cold hearted I don't think that'll ever happen." He gritted his teeth, I'll show you cold hearted, you little good for nothing- the thought was cut short by AppleJack prodding him with her hoof. "Are y'all gonna go or not?" she asked "Eh? Oh, yeah, I'll be back by nightfall." he said, galloping off. The home hunting went surprisingly fast, he had found a good house near the center of town, close by the library and town hall, he had also scouted out the park and shopping districts before walking toward his final destination. It seemed to be the social center of ponyville. Sugarcube Corner. Unfortunately, the pink mare from earlier popped out of a nearby bush. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" She sharply inhaled. "Oh my goodness! your early! I've never had anyone early to one of my parties before! Mostly because they're surprise parties. Oh! looks like I just spoiled it, I guess I'm just so super-duper excited, I mean, It's not everyday you get to throw a party for such a renown thief from the guild or anything, hahaha!" In a flash, Scarf tackled her back into the bush. "How'd you know I was a thief?" He asked, not wasting any time to get the information out of her. Pinkie giggled uncontrollably. "I saw you going to the 'Con the other day and decided to follow you," she began making hoof gestures and expressions to help explain things, "You were all like -.- 'hmph', Then that one colt was like :D 'cool!' And rainbow Dash was all drooling like; :P. Then you stole that watcha-ma-call-it book and walked out all >.> and everyone else was all O.O" Scarf grabbed her face with both forehooves so her face went ^3^. "If you tell anyone about that, you will not only have me, but every other member of the thieves guild after you for the rest of you life" He said sternly, it was a bluff, but it was hard to tell if the mare bought it with the way she was grinning. "Okie-dokie-lokie!" she replied, bouncing off, the thief shook his head and headed back to the farm. better get back so I can actually WORK on my first day He told himself, almost completely forgetting to go to sugarcube corner, probably wasn't missing anything anyway. "My my, he seems to be moving in nicely." "Nicely? he got his cover blown BEFORE HE EVEN HAD ONE!" "Oooh, sounds like someone's cranky." "Hush, both of you, we need to keep our eyes on what's going on." //-------------------------------------------------------// Workday //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 2 Sorry, I know its taken me SUPER long to get a new chapter out, but my family recently got involved in a cub scout camp thing, and I've had even less time to write, just have a lot of other things I'm doing. Just get on with it.... So Scarf’s cranky as usual, maybe the mane six will rub off on him. Another thing, the quotes at the beginning of each story are going to have less and less to do with the story itself.last thing, if you have an idea of what you think the next quote should be, leave a comment. Words of wizdom; "Time is a great teacher, but unfortunately it kills all its pupils ..." - Louis Hector Berlioz ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Hidden Scarf cast his golden eyes down at the building in front of him. His next target was a particularly rare gem that was said to be held by both a fashion designer and as a seamstress at her shop, the Carousel Boutique. Having looked at the store from every possible angle, he decided it was best if he entered by the glass panels forming a circle on the second floor. Pulling his mask up to cover his face, he jumped into an alley next to the building he had been perched on. Stalking into the moonlit street, he cursed his decision to get to the gem as soon as possible. As the newest citizen, suspicion would almost instantly fall on him once it was discovered missing. Shaking his head, Scarf decided to focus on the task at hand and crossed the street quickly. Locating his next checkpoint, he hastily climbed the tree closest to the store. still being sure he wasn't detected, he hopped onto the roof and opened one of the windows. Why isn't it locked he wondered, moving towards the center of the building. Suddenly he heard a loud yowling, whirling around, he found himself face to face with a completely white cat. Muttering a few choice words, he backed down the hall, the cat didn't move to follow him. "What a mess..." Hidden Scarf couldn't help but whispering as he eventually found himself in a room covered in fabrics and ponicans., sifting through all the silks, he finally found what he was looking for. A trap door was covered by a seemingly discarded dress. Before he could open it, though, he heard a voice behind him. "Opal, what is it darling?" shoot, no time Scarf quickly dashed into the trap door and down the long, earthy hallway dug out beneath it. It was surprisingly clean for an underground tunnel, he stopped at a circular room. "There you are." he muttered to the large prize. "Tom." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "So you got it, huh?" Master said gleefully Scarf nodded. "How'd you get it out from under the ground?" the pony thief shuddered as images of a very angry seamstress came to mind. "That doesn't really matter, what matters is nopony saw my face" he said. "I suppose you're right, quite the prize." Mischief said, admiring the giant boulder cut to the shape of a diamond. "Master..." "What is it?" "Why did i have to steal this piece of junk?" “Haven’t the foggiest, scarfy, haven’t the foggiest ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Well that was unexpected." "For once, I agree..." Shuffle shuffle "Lets just, uh, ignore that, um.... interesting mission." "Agreed" "Agreed" //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 3 //-------------------------------------------------------// Workday Well, I suppose an apology is in order, last chapter was REALLY short, also, quite a while ago, but I hope to be able to have another chapter of this each saterday, which should be easier now that i have a plot in mind.. For anyone who noticed the new Mare-Do-Well tag, yes, she will be included, I mean, a master thief needs some challenge, right? Words of wisdom; "Sometimes people do things because they enjoy it, sometimes they do them for others. My reasons? Im just bored." ~Mischief Master, leader of Ponyville sector, Thieves guild. "Wake up, Buttercup." "Ugh, Five more minutes, please Surge." Scarfs eyes popped open, that wasn't his old sergent. he whirled around to see a very unimpressed looking Applejack. good thing, his old drill sergent from militatry camp would have 'tanned his hide' for asking to sleep in.Then again, Applejacks face suggested worse. "Nuh uh, you best be gettin up right now, you agreed to work on the farm, and because of you ah had to set mah alarm thirty minutes early so ah wouldn't waste time huntin' you down all mornin'." Hidden Scarf looked at her Scrutinizingly. This was a completely different pony from the other day. He shrugged. "Alright, then, give me a second to get ready." He paced around the room, looking for his saddle bags while at the same time making sure everything was covered, then it hit him. Applejack could have searched his room while he was sleeping. "You didn't touch anything, did you?" "Of course not!" she sounded rather irritated that he had asked that, "Just hurry up, your makin' me run late." AJ stormed out. Scarf watched her leave and waited a few minutes before following, Hasn't she ever heard of breakfast? he proceede to go through his male, inspecting each letter carefully before coming to a dead stop at a light blue envelope. "Cloudstrider?" he read aloud the sender. "What?" Horsefeathers, Applejack was still there. "Just a penpal from Cloudsdale." Scarf hastily explained before tearing open the letter from the missions executive. Dear HiddenScarf, All I wished to say was thank you for you package the other day, and you were right, girls realy do like gemstones, I suppose thats because it makes them feel just like a princess. Anyway, your advise was great and I finnally worked up the nerve to take her to her favorite place, the town center was lovely today, you should have been there, all the shops were open, which is how i managed to get my little gift for her. Anyway, I eagerly anticipate hearing from you again, Knowing you, any job you get down there Is sure to be a succes. Sincerely, Cloudstrider. "Well, it's good to be getting mail again." Scarf said, quickly decifering the mission assignment from the rest of the letter, target, owner, location were always the first three speciffic nouns in the letter. he looks up to Applejacks impatient hoof-tapping. "Oh, right, lets go." What followed was a rather uneventfull day of applebucking. Finding just kicking the trees rather simple, Scarf decided to make a challange out of it with Applejack to see who could buck the must apples in between breaks. "Yer on." Applejack said, "what are yer terms of challenge?" "Loser has to buck the remaining apples in this part of the orchard if it's not done by supper." They each spat in their hoofs before shaking on it, Scarf was quickly getting used to farm life, it was quite a bit like his training before he became a thief. As it turns out, no matter how use Hiddenscarf thought he was to hard work, he was still far outmatched by A.J.s experience in the orchard. By the agreed time she had bucked almost three more baskets than him, and was about to buck the last tree in that section when dinner was announced. "Looks like this ones yours," she laughed before raceing off to dinner. Scarf sighed, tow more buckets than me he chuckled as he got ready to buck the tree. "Hello!" his vision was filled with pink. He missed the tree and collapsed on the ground. "Oh, im so sorry. I just wanted to invite you to a party, it would be really cool." "I dont do parties." Scarf mumbled as he stood up and brsuhed his matted mane out. "Dont be silly, I'm the one doing the party, you just have to go there!" Scarf stared at her incredulously. "Go where?" he might as well keep appearances with those who hadn't blown his cover. "It's just over at the barn." Pinkie explained as she hopped away, bouncing all the way back. The barn? Applejack had to have had something to do with this then. It took a good five hours before the party had finnally subsided, only pinkipie, Applejack, and four others remained.HiddenScarf, who had remained on the sidelines during all the games, was forced to talk with his hosts instead of avoiding conversation like he did all night. "So, HiddenScarf, you said you were from Canterlot?" a purple unicorn mare adressed him first, they were all just laying in the middle of the barn, faceing each other. Scarf nodded. "funny, I dont recognise your, where exactly in Cnaterlot, if you dont mind saying?" "The outskirts." Scarf replied cooly, almost with a bite. "Oh..." The mare suddenly became very interested in her drink. "So, what kinds of things were there to do on the outskirts, did you have parties?" the never satiated Pinkie inquired. A second unicorn, this one white with three gemstones for a cutiemark, coughed suddenly. "Um, Pinkie, I think Scarf would like to talk about something else." "Why? if its in Canterlot, then theres gotta be alot of cool things going on! say, what kind of things did you do there? ever see the wonderbolts? I hear they were performing in canterlot last year." A rather noisy cyan pegasus began talking rapidfire, ignoring her friends prior statement. "I didn't have the pleasure." Scarf said, also ignoring the unicorns, he wasn't ashamed of his former home. "So what did you do there?" Applejack was the one with the question this time. "Mostly I had to forage in the trash from the others in the city in order to help my family survive, once i was old enough I got a proper job as a street cleaner." The blue pegasus looked puzzled. "What kind of place has that low of a life style?" "The slums." there was an akward silence. "So, uh, what kind of things did you do once you, you know, flew the coup? I mean, I doubt y'all were living life in the slums all the time up 'till ya decided to come to Ponyville." "Well, once i got tired of cleaning the streats, I went to militay camp, to join the royal guard." There was a collective dropping of jaws. "whoa whoa woah, you were in the royal guard? how come i never saw you? I was living right next to the palace!" "I bet it was just fabulous, you've probally met all the highest class of ponies." "And you never saw the wonderbolts?" "No wonder y'all are so good at bucking apples, you probally got alot of practice with stuff like that." Scarf grimaced, they were all talking at once, so he couldnt even make out what they were saying. "Actually, I never graduated, I dropped out" he eventually explained, feeling this would answer all the questions. If jaws hadn't hit the floor yet, they all certainly did so now. Well, all but one. "And Oatmeal was all, Pinkie, since when have you known me not be.... oh, sorry." "Why'd yall do some foo thing like droppin' out?" Applejack intterragated, "Your family could've been set fer life!" Scarf shrugged non-chalantly, as if it wasn't such a big deal. "I just figured I wanted a different line of work, the princesses had enough guards, and I had learned my last remaining brother had just moved out and found a job in trade." "Seems he's found some friends, thats good, people need to trust him." "I dont see the point, he shouldn't be getting so attached, regardless of 'trust'" //-------------------------------------------------------// Authors note //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 3 Hiddenscarf was telling me I shouldn't have mentioned the plot, he says i need to stop making this introductions, and that gave me an idea... Make more introductions! I write the story and I can say Mare Do Well all day long! but I wont any more, because Scarf made a valid point. Spoilers are bad. Also, plots changing, I got too ADHD to continue with the one I was using and got a great Idea! This will become a crossover fic with my other, more popular "Reconditus" story. So keep reading for Scarfies side and observations on the grey unicorn. Words of Wisdom! "Those with talent must work hard to maintain it, those who work hard....... get exhausted." -Made up on the spot, VulpiBard That Night A lone black figure was poised on the branch to an apple tree, bright golden eyes slowly surveying the orchard before of him. The view was truly breathtaking at night, with the light of the just waning moon shining over the treetops and the stars twinkling in the cloudless sky. But Scarf didn't have any time to enjoy it, he had less than a week 'till his big mission, and was going to get some practice done if it killed him. Jumping from the branch, he hit the ground with a roll, ending with his hoofs on the ground beneath him, he skimmed his eyes through the orchard once more. Content that nopony was around, he began to do his buisness. As quitely as he could, he slowly crept tree by tree to the farmhouse, intent on filling his saddle bags with his precious loot. He had just moved from one tree to another when he heard a noise right behind him. Oh sweet celestia, please say I wasn't caught in the act. He turned his head slowly to see a familiar orange mane. I was he quickly pushed the evidence behind a tree, flinching as a large apple fell out. "Er, hello Big Mac, great night, huh?" The draft pony didn't reply right away, content with staring for a few moments. "Eeyup." Scarf scooted back some more, pushing his saddlebags with him. "Well, it's really getting late, so I'd better go." he turned tail and ran, stopping to pick up the bags and toss them into the barn. Big mac was still just standing there. "Eeyup." he drawled again before turning away from the now empty scene. Scarf kept running till he was just outside of the orchard, and would have kept going if it weren't for that meddling root, and the ground, too. "Ponyfeathers" he swore, spitting out a load of dirt "You alright, Scarf?" A familiar voice called out. "I didn't take you for a night pony. Scarfs eyes trailed slowly up to look at his employers silhouette as she trotted over, "Need a hand?" she asked, reaching out an orange furred hoof, scarf grasped it in his own and was pulled abruptly to his feet and was now face to face with Applejack, close enough to see her green eyes in a bit disturbing an amount of detail. backing up quickly, Scarf brushed himself off. "what are you doing out here this late?" The orange mare chuckled a bit, "I'm making sure my big oaf of a brother doesn't over exert himself, you aint seen him, have yah?" Scarf jerked his head in the direction he had just been running from, hoping she hadn't seen him doing so. "Thanks." She nodded gratefully before galloping off, "by the way, its alright to be apple-bucking at night, just so long as you tell one of us first." "I'll keep that in mind, goodbye then." he excused himself as he saw her off. Now that the alibi is done... "Aw, our little thief's all grown up. It warms the heart." "Riiiight, you must be so proud of him." "ah ah ah, I don't have any connection with him, remember?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Mission 1 //-------------------------------------------------------// Authors note To all you still following this ship-wrecked story, Wow, congradulations on your patience, it is truly, truly admirable. Get on with it. I recently read over my origional chapters of the story whilst I was bored and decided on something. I WILL be picking this story up again, but there will also be some changes. first off will be a time jump between the previous chapter and the upcoming one. Scarf will have not yet blown his cover, but still, because of time passing, He's built up more respect for Apple Jack and Pinkie Pie. Also, while we stil speek of Pinkie, She has joined the thieves guild as an acolyte under Scarfs instruction. To his frustration and Mischiefs delight. The previous chapters will be edited, then left up. I'm also continuing the Mission-Slice of life-Mission type thing. Last and most definatel not least, this will become a crossover with the Reconditus story of mine (be sure to read that too,) so expect to see another dark furred pony wandering ponyville. The next chapter will be on the same day as the first Reconditus part, but don't expect time to be so linear from then. Alright, imfo given, Vulpi out! (And have a nice day ^^)
