Rarity was sitting in her room while silently looking over a photo album that she had as she relaxed on her bed when there was a knock on her door. She looked up and saw Sweetie Belle standing there. Rarity stood up and put the photo album away and turned to Sweetie Belle standing in the doorway. Rarity spoke to her sister in a kind voice.
"Hello Sweetie Belle how are you doing honey?" Rarity asked her little sister. Rarity watched Sweetie Belle touch her tummy as she responded to Rarity while she groaned. Rarity became concerned as she wondered if Sweetie Belle was hungry and if she needed something to eat to satisfy her hunger so she wouldent starve. She noticed that it was noon time so that meant it was time for lunch anyway.
"I'm hungry." Sweetie Belle said to Rarity. Rarity thought for a moment and wondered if she should teach Sweetie Belle to cook. She knew that Sweetie Belle always burnt stuff when she cooked so she wasn't sure. It seemed like a bad idea but it might not turn out that terrible. She then decided that she should try to teach her anyway as she decided to not give up on teaching Sweetie Belle to cook.
"Alright I'll teach you how to make grilled cheese. I'll watch you to make sure you don't burn it. I'll come with you to the kitchen." She told Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle went to the kitchen. Rarity though that it was a bad idea but decided to go through with teaching Sweetie Belle. She hoped that she could finally teach Sweetie Belle to cook stuff properly. It would most possibly take time unfortunetly but she was not going to give up with her sister.
"Get two slices of bread Sweetie Belle." Rarity instructed her to do. Sweetie Belle nodded at her and went to the freezer and got two slices of bread out. She then closed the fridge and Rarity got a frying pan and a spatula out for her and put it on the stove. She watched Sweetie Belle set the bread down on a plate. Rarity then looked at the fridge and then looked at Sweetie Belle.
"Now get butter out of the side door of the fridge. It's in the top shelf so you can't miss it." Rarity told her. Sweetie Belle nodded got the butter out and set it down. She then got cheese from the bottom of the fridge. Rarity nodded at Sweetie a Belle. Sweetie Belle took the wrappers off the cheese and closed the fridge while she threw the wrapper away in the garbage.
"Now put the slices of cheese on the two pieces of bread, turn the burner on and spread butter around the pan." Rarity directed. Sweetie Belle took the butter and put it on the pan and Rarity turned in on for her. Sweetie Belle spread it around. Rarity then waited and then looked to the pieces of bread.
"Now take the two pieces of bread and put them on the pan." Rarity said while watching her sister finally try to cook as she coached her. Sweetie Belle put the two pieces on the pan and let the sides cook. Sweetie stepped back from it and then looked at Rarity. Rarity looked at her and spoke to her again.
"Now just wait till the two sides to cook. It takes only a couple of minutes before they turn brown. I'll remind you to check the sides." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle nodded at her and watched the pieces cook. Rarity smiled at her as she felt a sense of pride that she taught Sweetie Belle how to cook. She hoped that Sweetie Belle would continue to ask her how to cook other stuff.
Sweetie Belle also smiled. They both waited for a couple of minutes. Soon Rarity waited for the right moment for the two sides to be brown as she looked at the clock. She then spoke to Sweetie Belle to tell her what else to do next.
"It doesn't take at long to cook a grilled cheese sandwich, check the sides." Rarity said. Sweetie Belle checked both of the sides on the two pieces of bread and saw that they were cooked. She looked at Rarity. Rarity saw both the sides and spoke to her again.
"Now flip the one onto the other hon." Rarity said. She smiled and flipped the left slice onto the right. Rarity smiled and spoke once more to Sweetie Belle.
"Now press down on it and then turn off the burner." Rarity instructed. Sweetie Belle pressed down on it and turned the burner off.
"Now put it on the plate and go eat!" Rarity said smiling. Sweetie a Belle put it on a plate and got a drink. She then sat down at the table and ate it. Rarity sat down on the couch. Sweetie Belle finished. Rarity was glad that she taught Sweetie Belle to cook. She knew that Sweetie Belle would need help with cooking other things but she would gladly teach her with that.
Sweetie Belle put the paper plate in the garbage and then she put her cup in the sink and went over to Rarity. Rarity ruffled Sweetie Belle's hair as she was so proud of Sweetie Belle finally being able to learn how to cook something right.
"Thanks Rarity. That was the first meal I didn't burn! Can you teach me to cook other stuff to?" Sweetie Belle asked. Rarity smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Your welcome Sweetie Belle I knew you could do it. Of coarse I will!" Rarity said smiling. Sweetie Belle sat by her and they both snuggled as they both were happy that Sweetie Belle could cook.
