Cosmic Flash was born an alicorn 100 years before the return of Princess Luna after her 1000 year banishment to the moon. His existence as an alicorn was kept hidden from everypony, even Princess Celestia, his parents posing him as a unicorn until he could care for himself. His secret is becoming harder to hide with the recent ascension of Twilight Sparkle and the birth of Princess Flurry Heart, Celestia and Luna have caught wind of rumors that there is an unknown alicorn living within Equestria. What will he do?

Prologue

I have spent the entirety of my life until now hiding who I really am from society, but now a rumor is spreading that there is an unknown alicorn living in Equestria, that alicorn is me. My name is Cosmic Flash, I was born in the year 900 A.B.N. (After Banishment of Nightmare) as an alicorn. My special talent is the quantum magic, or the manipulation of the fabric of reality, which allows me to materialize objects from my magic and use time travel to correct paradoxes and instabilities throughout the time stream. The second of the two is something I only use in dire circumstances as it is a very taxing and complicated spell. Now I have to choose, do I reveal my secret, or do I try to hide it for as long as I can? The problem is, I don't which is the better option. It's only a matter of time before they find out who I am, but am I really ready for it?
