Hearts and Hooves Day for a Half Robot!

Tribot walked down the dusty path of ponyville. Though he was surrounded by ponies who were happier than ever, he did not join in the cries of glee, happiness, or occasionally lust. It was Hearts and Hooves Day and everypony was spending time with their special somepony while he, a stallion who could move faster than Rainbow Dash without the use of his wings, a stallion who had been in countless battles over the centuries, a stallion who saved Equestria and a number of other planets from total destruction, could not find a mare who was interested in him.
Tribot continued to walk down the dirt path with no knowledge as to where he was going or why. Around him other ponies were enjoying their lives. Pinkie Pie was having lunch with Pokey Pierce in an outdoor restaurant. They were sipping two straws from one milkshake while smiling at each other. Tribot ignored the scene since he knew it would only make him more sad than he already was. Suddenly his chipped ears went tense as he raised his head in a an almost surprised matter and thought out loud, "Wait a minute. Why don't I just go ask one of the girls out. This town is full of them. I might feel better even if I don't get into an actual relationship."
In a blur of red and white Tribot headed for Sweet Apple Acres. He stopped at the gate, of course, because last time he came running in he gave granny a heart attack. He walked with a skip in his step until he saw Applebloom with the other crusaders pulling a red wagon towards the woods where Tribot believed to be their tree house. Inside the wagon was a bow and arrow along with a bag of fruits.
"Hey girls!" He galloped up to them in a hurried manner, "Have any of you seen Appleja... why do you have those things?"
Sweetie Belle stepped forward and answered the question, "We though we might get our cutie marks in shooting arrows."
Applebloom stepped forward, "It should be better than last tam'."
Tribot of course had a hard time believing that after the last six times he had been present during something that required ammunition was used.
"Oh really?"
"Yep!"
"And why is that?"
Scootaloo answered this next question, "Because we are going to use grapes instead of apples."
"WHAT!?"
"And don't worry we are not putting it on Sweetie Belle's head."
"No, No, NO! You three promise me you are not going to shoot a grape off the head of anypony."
"rrrgg. Fine." The CMC walked off into the woods leaving Tribot to feel very authoritive.
The CMC continued to speak to themselves, "So does Spike count cause he isn't exactly a pony?"
Tribot continued his walk around the farm searching for Applejack. Unfortunately he found her kissing Caramel in the back of the barn. Tribot then decided to head for Twilights castle. It had been a while since he had been there and he wanted to talk to her anyway. After a very short, super-speeded, walk to the castle he knocked on the doors. They opened to reveal Spike's face, now at eye level with most ponies because of some exposure to a growth spell. At least he had a chance with Rarity now.
"Hey Spike."
"Hey Tribot. What brings you here?"
"I was wondering if I could talk to Twilight real quick."
Spike looked at the half robot with an expression that almost seemed sad, "Sorry to break it to you but Twilight's in the back with her husband."
"Oh ok. I don't want to intru..." Tribot froze for a second until he remembered, "Oh right. Twilights married in this Universe. never mind Spike but thanks anyway."
Tribot disappeared in a second. Spike, thinking he had left, closed the doors. In reality Tribot simply went behind a bush that was near the castle. He decided to stop there because he didn't really feel like running. he mumbled under his breath, "I guess that's it. Fluttershy isn't really my type and Rarity is going to be with Spike soon so... I... I guess I've struck out."
tears began to swell up in his eyes. Knowing how embarrassing it would be to be seen like this he sucked it up and headed for home. He walked down the streets of Ponyville once more before exiting the actually town walking on the dirt path that would take him to his house. His head was so low that he failed to notice another pony trotting down the road. He collided with her and the two fell on the ground. Tribot registered what had just transpired and realized the mare had fallen on top of him. She raised her head looked at him, "Ow. Trixie is in pain." She then looked at the stallion she had run into and then blushed at the awkward position they were in. She stood up and began offering apologies, "Oh my goodness, Trixie is sorry for running into you. She did not mean to bump you whilst on her way to Ponyville."
Tribot stood up before speaking, "Don't worry about it, I'm fine. Are you ok? I didn't hurt you did I?"
Trixie smiled before stating, "The Great and Powerful Trixie can survive much more than such a minimal thing."
Tribot smiled as he thought hehehe, she's cute talking like that... wait a minute. what did I just say? hmm, maybe...
"Did you say you were heading for ponyville?" Tribot asked nonchalantly.
"Why yes, Trixie did say that."
"Would you mind if I joined you?"
Trixie wasn't sure how to react to this. Fortunately her mouth spoke before she could think, "Why of course. Trixie would love the company but she didn't quite catch your name."
The Pegasus smiled, "I don't believe I dropped it." After a half-second of thought the unicorn laughed heartily at the pun, "I'm TRIBOT 3000. You can call me Tribot."
Trixie smiled and introduced herself as well even though her name was pretty obvious. The two walked down the road back to Ponyville. As they walked they had simple conversation. Tribot told much about his fighting life while Trixie told of her resolve.
"...and that is why Trixie is now a good friend of Twilights."
"That's wonderful to hear. Everypony needs at least one friend. At least that's my experience."
The two walked in silence for a distance until they saw the town of Ponyville.
"There she is. Good old Ponyville." Tribot was happy to be back. He wasn't sad anymore. He looked over at the mare by his side who was currently looking around at the scenery. She was pretty. Forget that, she was stunning. The way her mane bobbed up and down with her stride as well as seemingly floating in the air from the slight wind. Tribot decided to speak, "Hey. I have a question for you."
Trixie turned her head to look at the stallion before her, "Yes?"
"Are you doing anything tonight?"
Trixie thought for a second before responding, "No. Trixie was planning on going to Canterlot, but since she has no pony to go with..."
"I'll take you."
The blue Unicorn was somewhat surprised at the offer before responding with a blush combined with a smile, "oh... um... ok."
Tribot waited at a small restaurant wearing a black jacket. Trixie had asked him to go first and that she would meet him later. Tribot waited for minute before familiar voice called from behind him. He turned around to see Trixie in a beautiful purple dress.
"Do you like Trixie's new dress? She got it from Rarity."
"Tribot loves Trixie's new dress, and much more the mare inside it."
"You little charmer."
"I try."
Tribot held out his hoof and Trixie put her hoof in his. They walked inside the restaurant and had a wonderful dinner.
After dinner Tribot walked Trixie to her house which was coincidently half way between Ponyville and his own home. They stopped at the door step as they said their goodbyes, "Trixie enjoyed tonight's dinner. She has never had a special somepony before."
"Neither have I."
before either of them knew what was happening, they both leaned and connected their lips. It was a quick kiss but it was worth a million bits in their minds.
"Goodnight Tribot. Trixie will see you later."
"Goodnight Trixie."
Tribot exited the property and bolted off. When he got home he immediately went to his computer and to his FimFiction site and sent a PM to his friend UniqueSKD that said:
Dude! I just kissed a mare.
After a few seconds waiting, he received a reply:
What took you so long?

yay. I finished my story for Valentines Day/Hearts and Hooves Day. I hope you liked it. No there won't be any more chapters but Trixie will show up in some other stories as my... uh... what's it called? A waifu? A marefirend? I don't really know.

oh...
never mind. She's my marefriend.
FYI I'm terrible and describing clothes. Sorry about that.
