Prologue: End of all worlds
“Remember Equestria, Sunset Shimmer… Remember all of us…”
Blue eyes shot open, a gasp filling the room as sunlight trickled through, dousing the room in a warm glow as it outlined the now sitting form of a young woman. Raking a hand through her wild mane of ruby and gold, the figure sighed and attempted to shake the cobwebs from her sleep addled mind.
“What was that…?” she muttered groggily. The voice was familiar, that much she knew, but who did it belong to? And what did it mean? She lived in Equestria, what was there to remember? And who did it mean? This was all so annoying! She growled in frustration as she flopped back down into bed.
“Is something wrong Sun-Shim?” came a dreamy voice from beside her, causing Sunset Shimmer to become aware of the pleasant feelings coming from her right arm.
“Just got the sun in my eyes Sonata, sorry to wake ya babe.” Sunset replied as she scratched her muses head, eliciting a happy purr from the sleepy Siren. Sunset laid there, eyes closed, as she continued her ministrations of Sonata’s scalp. Humming a happy toon softly as she felt sleep start to wash back over her in a warm wave…
WAIT A SECOND! Screamed a voice in Sunsets head, causing the amber skinned beauty to immediately jump up out of bed, freeing her arm from the Sirens warm embrace.
“W-w-what are you doing in my bed!” yelled Sunset, stuttering over her words as she pointed at the slumbering figure in her bed, her eyes wild and heart threatening to rip through her chest.
“Muuuur?” came the tired response from Sonata, pushing herself up on her elbows and pouting at Sunset, causing a knot to form in her throat. Celestia above she is adorable! Sunset thought. “What do you mean, YOUR bed? We split this halfsies silly!” the adorable look on the face of Sonata caused Sunset to blush, before shaking her head at glaring at Sonata.
“Stop trying your tricks on me Sonata! Without your pendants, you and the other Dazzlings have no Equestrian magic here!”
Sonata just raised an eyebrow confusedly, before getting up and sashaying over to Sunset, before raising a hand up and resting the back of it on the forehead of the amber woman.
“Are you sick Sun-Shim? I think maybe I should cut back a bit on our long nights maybe?” Sonata asked, a very worried look in her eyes. “I do tend to be unable to say no to your advances...” she said meekly, blushing deeply as she brought both of her hands up to her cheeks in an adorable pose that almost made blood erupt out of the nose of the now madly blushing Sunset. Almost. Instead Sunset grabbed her by the wrists, causing Sonata to yelp in surprise, worry fleeting across her face. “Sun-Shim…? You’re really starting to worry me, honey.”
Throb.
Sunset gasped, her eyes dilating as she started swaying, letting go of of the wrists she held captive and cupping her head.
Throb.
Sunset whimpered in pain as the throbbing ripped her head, starting to run down into her core. Sonata gave her a worried gaze. “Sun-Shim?”
Throb!
Sunset screamed as she fell to the floor, Sonata rushing to her side calling out her name. Darkness was flooding over Sunset, the pain unbearable.

“-nset?”
Sunset groaned, feeling like Atlas, but if Atlas had to hold up all of-
“Sunset!?” she felt her body being shook, as if she were a ship lost on sea.
“We think it would be wise if you stopped, Sonata Dusk.” came a second voice, coinciding with the shaking on her body to abate.
“B-but!” was the tear filled reply, at least Sunset’s waking mind assumed it was tear filled as she felt droplets of something fall sporadically on her face.
“I think you should listen to her, Sonata.”
The third voice was quiet and timid sounding, but carried a wind of authority. By now Sunset groaned, her eyes slowly opening, taking in the blurs around her. She counted three forms above her looking down, and as her vision cleared Sunset could see the concern in the three pairs of eyes that studied her. But one figure, and one set of eyes caught her attention, causing her to bolt up and shout out the girls name.
“Princess Twilight!”
Sunset instantly regretted bolting up so fast as her world started to swim, Sonata rushing to embrace her.
“Princess… Twilight?” came the confused response from the purple girl, her head crooked as she studied Sunset. “I haven’t been called that in a long time now.” Twilight chuckled.
“True, you haven’t come through the portal from Equestria in a few moons-”
“Portal from Equestria?” Twilight cut Sunset off. “Whatever are you talking about?”
“Well her head did bounce off the carpet pretty harsh-like!” Sonata snuck in. “I’m surprised her head isn’t mush!” she giggled, suddenly wearing a catlike grin.
“And what are you still doing here!?” Sunset exclaimed at Sonata, or at least she would have, had she not suddenly had flashbacks of her and Sonata. The two of them enjoying a romantic kiss in the rain. Sonata blushing and looking away while seated at a fancy looking dinner table. Sunset’s hand sliding open the door to her bathroom, revealing a nude Sonata, looking over her shoulder, beckoning Sunset to-
“Are you feeling a bit better now Sunset?” Twilight laid a hand on Sunset’s arm, “I will admit that it was quite a shock to hear from Sonata-”
Sunset’s eye narrowed as she stared at Twilight, before cutting the purple girl off. “What do you mean by that, Twilight?”
“Eh?” Twilight stuttered, confused at her friend's outburst. “Whatever do you mean?”
Sunset sighed. “Sorry… Would it be fine to be left with Sonata now? I think I need some rest.”
Twilight started to open her mouth, only to be cut off by her dark blue compatriot.
“Very well, Sunset Shimmer. We shall leave you be.” She said, before looking over to Sonata. “And you. Let us know if anything should arise.” Sunset was sure that Sonata should have broken her neck a few times over given how fast she nodded in response, her trademark smile on display the whole time. Twilight merely looked at her partner exiting the room before looking back to Sunset, and nodded, before calling after her friend who had since left the premise.
“L-Luna! Wait for me!”
Sunset waited for Twilight to leave before looking down at Sonata, who was still hugging Sunset as close as she could, goofy grin plastered all over her face. She sighed as she looked at how happy Sonata seemed.
“How about I order in some Tacos for the two of us? My treat.”
In what could only be described as dog whistle frequency, Sonata gave an almighty squee, before pulling Sunset into a deep kiss, causing a blush as red as Sunset’s hair to spread across her face. She could get used to this sort of thing, a pleasant heat spreading through her as she started to return the Siren’s kiss.
Throb.
Sunset pulled away, worried that the pain would start again.
Throb.
Sonata gave a grin that could only be described as lascivious, before slowly grinding her way down Sunset’s body causing the amber woman to give off soft moans.
Throb!
As Sonata reached down to Sunset’s pajama pants Sunset finally noticed it. Something that shouldn’t be there.
THROB!
Sunset gave an unearthly scream as she pulled away from Sonata, who had her hands over her ears, and ran to the washroom, slamming the door behind herself. What was this doing on her!? Sunset thought as she rushed to the full length mirror in the corner, stopping in front of it and staring at herself. Wait… Sunset finally noticed herself, neither human nor pony, but a mixture of… both? She stood on two legs, ending in human feet, but a fine coat of amber fur covered her body. She had her pony tail, which was limp out of shock and simply hung back between her legs. She slowly brought her hands up to her face. She had a muzzle. Not a full sized muzzle, but a muzzle nonetheless. Her hands drifted up to the protrusions of her hair. Pony ears. She remembered Rarity fawning over her “...adorable pony ears!” when they would Pony-Up, but this. It was so weird. She remembered being a human, being a pony, and slowly she remembered her life being… whatever this was. And she remembered… that. Sunset slowly moved hands down to her bottoms, making sure to hook her thumbs into both the bottoms and her underwear. Sunset took a deep breath, before bending forward slightly and yanking her-
Splap!
The sound of flesh slapping cloth echoed in the room, as the pajama bottoms and underwear fell around her ankles, and Sunset’s hands flew to cover her mouth from the scream she was about to unleash. Jutting from her crotch, formally attempting to nestle into her breasts but now resigned to sitting just underneath, was a cock.
A horse cock.
HER horse cock.
Sunset just stood there, staring at it in disbelief. “This has to be a dream…” She whispered to herself.
“I thought it was at first too. It seemed too good to be… real.” Sonata had snuck into the room while Sunset was examining herself, and now had her arms around Sunset, pulling her into a loving hug from behind.
“But.. But I’m a freak!” Sunset exclaimed, “Just look at this thing!” It throbbed again as if to punctuate her point.
“Are you all stressed out over this again? We already talked this over, and I love you regardless.” Sonata assured Sunset by giving her breasts a squeeze.
“Ack! Hey! Not the time Sonata.” Sunset chided, trying her best to wrap her head around the current situation, and Sonata deciding to be so snuggly was not helping her.
“But why not?” Sonata whined, continuing her groping of Sunset’s twins, much to their owners chagrin. “It should be a crime to not play with these if you ask me!” giving them another jiggle to help emphasize the point.
Sunset merely swatted Sonata’s hands away, before turning around and placing her own hands on Sonata’s… her girlfriend's shoulders, and looked her in the eye. “I know you mean well Sonata, but this is really not helping me right now, okay?” Sunset sighed and sat down, wrapping her arms around her knees, “I… I don’t know what happened but none of this is right… I know what we are, but I remember Twilight, myself, and the others, teaming up to defeat you and the other Dazzlings at the Battle of the-”
Sonata had sat down and embraced Sunset, looking deep into her girlfriend's eyes with a seriousness that seemed out of place. “Well the Rainbooms did beat us in the finals all those years ago…”
“But all of us were human, none of this part human, part pony stuff… right?” Sunset stared hard at Sonata, her lips trembling as tears started to build. “And I was a girl… mare… whatever! Not… this!?” The tears started streaming down her face as Sonata pulled her into her generous breasts and started petting the red and gold hair.
“Sorry honey, but I don’t know what you’re talking about.” She paused for a second, “but I do know that next to Applejack you are the least likely to lie to friends, so I trust you.” Sunset pulled herself away, and looked at Sonata, her face a mess from her sobbing, her eyes red and puffy, but not as red as her face got when Sonata pulled her into a kiss. Whereas the kiss before had been full of lust, this one was full of love, as if Sonata was affirming Sunset about everything.
“Now how about a nice, warm shower? I think you need one after this morning.” Sonata asked “innocently”.
