Die Wacht in Equestria

Canterot, Equestria: Royal Palace. August 5th, 06:30 A.M.

Princess Celestia was sitting on her throne during a beautiful morning in Canterot. She already read through about a few dozen scrolls that were sent to her from all across Equestria. She had her white dress on with her mane flowing through the air even though there was no wind, she had high heels on, and she had her crown on all the time. She kept tossing scrolls away until she got a report from Manehatten. It described that the citizens saw a bright flash across the ocean and the population is curious of what could have possibly happened out there. She read through the rest of the scroll and she decided to keep it for the time being. She thought of sending a ship out to investigate, but that would have to come later as she got more and more scrolls by the second. She kept hold of the one she just had and continued with her work. But before she did that she wrote a letter to Princess Twilight and with a blink of an eye it was gone. She then resumed her work taking care of her country.

Twilight's Castle. 06:35 A.M.

Twilight just woke up from and she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes. She got dressed with purple pants and a pink t-shirt since she wasn't going to wear her royal outfit out in public, but for special occasions. She then used her magic from her thorn and ripped Spike's blanket away from him.

"Ugh! Come on Twilight five more minutes please?!", spike asked as he was waking up.

"Come on Spike we have another day ahead of us!", Twilight said as she went downstairs. All that Spike could do was to man up and deal with it. He got up slowly and got dressed with a light green shirt and light purple shorts for him to wear. As Twilight went downstairs she had a knock on her door.

*Knock knock*

"I'll get it Spike!", Twilight said as she rushed to the door. She then opened it to reveal her best friends.

"Howdy Twilight!" Applejack said in her county voice.

"Can we come in?", Rainbowdash asked.

"Sure I was about to make breakfast with Spike! Come on in!", Twilight said.

"Hey Twilight I got a message from Pricess Celestia!", Spike said with a scroll in he right hand.

"Thank you spike I'll take that off you.", Twilight said as she used her magic to take the scroll out of Spike's hand.

"What does it say darling?", Rarity asked as she used a had mirror to keep her mane perfect.

"Dear Twilight Sparkle: I have received a report from Manehatten that the city saw a bright flash out towards the sea. Nopony is usually out that far and I want you and your friends to investigate the source of that light from the sea. You should bring the elements of harmony just in case if things go wrong. I will give you instructions along the way, but come to Canterlot tomorrow for instructions at nine. From Princess Celestia.", Twilisht said as she read the letter out loud.

"Looks like we are going on another adventure!", Pinky screamed in excitement.

"Yay...", Fluttershy said in her very quite voice.

Berlin, Germany: City Palace Stadt Schloss. August 6th 06:45 A.M.

"Gentlemen, I believe you all know what we are doing here on this beautiful morning here in our wonderful city of Berlin?", a man in a dark blue military uniform asked with about half a dozen badges from the middle of his left torso up to his neck including the iron cross, silver epaulettes on his shoulders next to the silver collar around his neck, and a mustache that represented a wide "W"  just above his top lip. This was know as the "Kaiser Moustache", this man was no ordinary government official. This man was the leader of the German Empire, his name was Kaiser Wilhelm II. The emperor of Germany.

"Yes your highness, you ordered all of your top generals for this meeting due to the situation that we are not in Europe anymore. Actually scratch that, we are not on Earth anymore!" General Alexander von Kluck said.

"Correct General Kluck." Kaiser Wilhelm said. "Admiral Tirpitz, I have read reports that you've already sent out patrols guarding the coastline. What is the situation as of now with our navy?"

"Your highness, all ships have been accounted for including the ones from our colonies outside of Europe before arriving here. Our navy has discovered that there is no foreign navy so far besides the Italians, the Ottomans, Austria-Hungary, and the small fleets of the Balkan countries." Admiral Alfred von Tirpitz said.

"Hey at least we don't need to worry about the stupid and cowardly French, the fancy British citizens and their precious tea, and the Russians with their poor industialization and mostly wheat farmer population.", general Otto Liman von Sanders said while a few generals let out a small laugh at the last comment.

"On that we can all agree. We will not need to worry about the Entente anymore.", field marshal August von Mackensen stated.

"Gentlemen.", Kaiser Wilhelm directed everyone's attention towards him. "If we are indeed not on Earth anymore then we should see if there are any locals that we can make contact with. Admiral Tirpitz, you are ordered to deploy the SMS König Albert and an escort with her to find any source of land so we can try to make contact with the locals here."

"Yes your highness! My men will not let you down!", Tirpitz said as he stood up from his chair and gave the Kaiser a salute before leaving.

"As for the rest of you, everyone of you are to keep the soldiers calm and to watch for anything suspicious.", Kaiser Wilhelm ordered everyone. "Understood?"

"Yes your highness!", all the generals said at once.

"I'll be in my bedroom if anyone has anything important to report.", Kaiser Wilhelm stated as he got out of his chair and walked out of the meeting room towards his bedroom. He walked through the hallways of the palace, decorated with Baroque-style paintings on the walls. He also passed a few maids who greeted him with a "good morning your highness", he felt rather calm when other people greeted him in a positive attitude. He then made his way to his bedroom and sat at his desk looking out of the window showing the beauty of Berlin and it's citizens. The scenery of the city was beautiful to him, and it would not escape his heart.

"This is a new era for the fatherland. Let's hope that it will not tear us apart.", Kaiser Wilhelm said to himself as he got up and layed his back down on the bed, relaxing to kill the spare time.

Canterlot, Equestria: Royal Palace. August 6th, 9:00A.M.

Celestia was waiting patiently on her throne waiting for Twilight and the rest of her friends. She just finished with the scrolls that she had received and planned on what to tell them. Until a second later they teleported in front of her.

"Good morning Princess Celestia, I can tell that you have a new mission for us?", Twilight asked.

"Yes I do Twilight, the six of you are to go to the Manehattan docks and discover the source of a bright light that the city saw out in the ocean. We don't know what it is but it could be those pirates that have been causing trouble with trade ships over the past weeks.", Celestia said.

"And what if these pirates are causing this darn trouble here?", Applejack asked.

"Then find out what they are doing and send any useful information to me", Celestia said

"Anything else Princess?", Twilight asked.

"No that's all for now, you should be going.", Celestia answered.

"Alright then we won't let you down!", Twilight said as they teleported out of Celestia's throne room.

Manehattan Docks

In a sudden flash the mane six arrived at the Manehattan docks that were busy with trade ships, passenger liners, some Equestrian Royal Navy ships, and the smell of good ol' stinky fish!

"Ugh, I can't stand this smell Twilight!", Rarity said as they just finished teleporting.

"Quit you're yapin' Rarity. We just got here!", Applejack said.

"I know it's just that it's so stinky and it's going to ruin my new outfit!", Rarity complained as she was getting her new dress stinky.

"Let's just get to business, we shall split into groups of three. Me with Fluttershy, Pinkie with Applejack, and Rarity with Rainbow. Now let's get to work!", Twilight explained and then they went their own separate ways.

Manehattan Docks: 1 hour and 45 minutes later

The mane six had just finished their task of trying to get any valuable information about the bright flash from the locals, which they got no where near close to.

"Did anyone get any leads?", Twilight asked.

"None.", Rainbowdash answered.

"Nope.", Applejack replied.

"Well it was worth trying darlings.", Rarity said.

"But it was fun!", Pinkie yelled.

"I thought that is was very helpful after all we were asking them to use the time of their day to help us after all.", Fluttershy said.

"Well we should move on to-... What's going on over there?", Twilight said as she pointed to a very large group of citizens and sailors looking out to the sea on the pier. They soon walked over and went up to a captain of the Royal Navy.

"Your majesty!", the captain said as he bowed as so did everyone else. "Is there anything that I can help you with?"

"In fact yes, what are all of you doing here looking outwards to the sea?", Twilight asked.

"The Pirates that have been disrupting trade ships have been spotted off the coast!", the captain replied.

"Yes we got a lead guys!", Twilight exclaimed to the rest of the gang.

"But there's one catch.", the captain said.

"Well what is it?", Rainbowdash asked.

"There are also unknown ships right next to them!", the captain answered.

"Wait, what?!", Twilight asked in confusion.

"Yes it is true take a look for yourself your majesty!", the captain replied while handing Twilight a spyglass. When she took w look through it, she was shocked. She passed it to everyone else with the same expression except Pinkie Pie who was so godamn happy all the time.

"Who are they captain?", Twilight asked.

"No idea your majesty, let's hope that they don't cause trouble for us.", the captain replied

SMS König Albert, unknown location: 10:45 A.M.

The German dreadnought "König Albert" was about 80 miles from the German coast of the North Sea searching for any land mass with her escort ships consisting of two Magdeburg-class cruisers the SMS Magdeburg and the SMS Strassburg, and eight V1-class destroyers, SMS V1, SMS V3, SMS V4, SMS V6, SMS G11, SMS G12, SMS S19, and SMS S24. They were on patrol for a few hours with the crews keeping their eyes on the vast open blue all morning. Until they found something out in the open, a few wooden ships.

"Captain we found an unidentified vessel port side!", an officer said

"Can we get anything off of them?", the Captain asked.

"Yes sir, it's made of wood with four other vessels just like it waving... A black flag with a skull?"

"Pirates? Pirates haven't been around for centuries!"

"You're right sir. Pirates haven't been around at all for a long time."

"Let's not engage them. Let's see what they will do."

Pirate's capital ship

The pirates on their ships were confused and supried, they saw eight unidentified ships that were light gray and all of them were waving a flag at the stern of every vessel that was menacing to their eyes. It had a small horizontal tricolor flag on the top-left corner with black on top, white in the middle, red on the bottom, and had a black cross with a white outline. The middle of the flag was a black cross with a black eagle in the middle of holding a crown and staff. They didn't know what the flag meant and they didn't give a damn either. They were urging to plunder another ship for hours now and they found some.

"Captain unknown vessels starboard side!", a pony first mate announced while pointing at the gray ships.

"Arrrggg! We found a few ships laddies! Prepare to fire!", the captain shouted.

The crew started loading the cannons and ballistas on the ships. Land ponies and pegasus' loaded the cannons while the unicorns armed the ballistas. They were fully loaded and ready to fire while they were closing in.

"Weapons ready!", the first crewmate shouted.

"Prepare to fire! Now they will taste the wrath of Captain Gunslinger and his crew! We will steal their precious booty and take over their ships!", the captain shouted.

SMS König Albert

"Sir the unidentified vessels are approaching us!", another crewman on the bridge shouted.

"How how far?", the captain asked.

"About a few thousand yards sir. I would guess they are about eight thousand yards away."

"Let's not react yet, they may be trying to communicate with us."

Pirate's ship

"Fire!", the captain shouted and then suddenly all of his ships opened fire onto the vessels.

SMS König Albert

"They opened fire! Brace for impact!", a crewman shouted and then everyone on the bridge braced. They waited and they then heard loud cracks and dinks off the metal hull outside.

"Damage report!", the captain ordered.

"Sir we have no damage dealt to our ship!"

"What?"

"Yes sir it's true look outside!"

The captain went over to the port side of the bridge and it was true, there were no fires or marks. The ship was perfectly fine!

"Ready the guns and order all ships to open fire on my command at the enemy!", the captain ordered.

"Yes sir!", the entire bridge said at once.

"Prepare to face the wrath of precisional German engineering...", the captain said in a dark evil voice, hoping that his enemies could hear him...

Pirate's ship, a few moments ago.

"Fire!", the captain yelled. All of his ships opened fire on the unsuspecting ships as he took a large drink from a large bottle of rum. He was expecting choas among the pony crew on those ships, he will enjoy it. But it didn't come to that, instead the cannon balls just broke when they made contact with the enemy ship's hull and the ballista's just bounced off. The captain spat out the rum he just drank and was shocked at what just happened.

"What in the name of Celestia just happened?!", the captain asked while the crew panicked.

"Captain it seems that they have some kind of metal on their hulls!", the first mate said.

"Impossible!", the captain replied.

"Enemy ships are aiming at us captain!", a crew member said while looking through a spy glass. There was silence as the eleven ships slowly turned their guns towards them. They were not ballistas or cannons to their knowledge. They had large long gray tubes that looked heavy and menacing, especially the largest ship in the fleet. Some of the crew members had just pissed their pants at how terrifying these ships were now with their guns pointed at them. Shivers went down everyone's spines, even the captain's. They just poked the hornet's nest and broke it.

SKS König Albert

"Fire!", the captain yelled. A mere second after he yelled the wrath of the Kaiserliche Marine (Imperial Navy) rained down hell. The destroyers fired their main batteries in quick succession along with their torpedoes, the cruisers fired their main armaments farther away than the destroyers, and four of the five König Albert's huge twin-mounted 12-inch guns thundered with a terrifying road. The payloads found their mark and obliterated all five of the pirate vessels, two of them errupting into huge fireballs, and one detonated in half. The shipwrecks were the first sign of conflict and it sent a message to the world, "DON'T fuck with Germany."

"Looks like we got them!", the captain said as the bridge cheered as this was the König Albert's and the rest of the fleet's first combat test and first blood. "Let's head back to base, Admiral Tirpitz would want to hear this!"

After the cheering ended the fleet changed coarse and headed back to Hafen von Hamburg harbor. Admiral Tirpitz would be glad to see that their newest dreadnought and ships are now ready for war and he would be shocked that the are indeed not alone.

Back at the Manehattan docks

The crowd at the docks were completely shocked at just what happened. Nearly a dozen unknown ships just erased the most dangerous pirates in Equestria in under TEN seconds flat! The elements were all scared shitless except Pinkie.

"We need to tell Princess Celestia about this...", Twilight said to break the silence.

"Uh yeah, let's do that...", Rainbowdash awkwardly said.
