A giant, harmful cloud of thick smoke has covered the skies in the town of Ponyville. Shortly after, it is discovered that the source of it isn't fire, but an animal. Luckily, James and the gang have their beloved animal caretaker on their side-- Fluttershy.

But there's just one problem. The animal's an enormous dragon, an animal that she's terrified of.
