Last semester, a chemistry lab "accident" changed the flow of a young mare's senior year of high school. They told her to report any ill effects. Once upon a time she might have done just that, but her journey was only just beginning. Alive and unfettered by the emotion bearing her name, the last thing she wanted was to end it.

Months of scurrying across late afternoon halls, bathed in the spectrum of reds, oranges, and violets by the setting sun, did not go unnoticed. Called unexpectedly to the faculty offices, she stares the fulfillment of her heart's greatest desire in the face.

But will it be everything she dreamed it to be?
