Bonbon is dead. Is she just supposed to accept that and move on? Apple Jack has her plate full. The last thing she needs is this to deal with.
Lyra has lived a simple life with her best friend, and roommate, Bonbon. Lyra had never approved of what Bonbon was apart of though, she always felt that it would get her killed. Now that it has, Lyra isn't going to stand and accept it. She is going to fight, and she is going to win.
Fluttershy, second in command, is punished for helping a civilian under strict rules not to do so. She needs to redeem herself and show her leader, Apple Jack, that she can prove herself to the cause once more.
This is not a sequel, but a different perspective of the ponies living under Nightmare Moon. It is not needed, but if you want, read A Vail of Night for a little more context.
