A Mercenary's Darkened Heart

The day was peaceful and serene. the sound of birds chirping, and the wind blowing through the leaves of the great oak trees that lined the exspansive field of many beautifuly coloured flowers. It was a sight to see, though for the armoured unicorn walking through along side the field, it meant nothing to him. He did not smile at the beautiful sight for he was more preoccupied by his own thoughts of the road a head and where it would lead to. As the unicorn walked he thought to him self about his journey so far and how he knew what it was like to delve into the darkest part of the soul until he walked straight into a lake .

"Shit" he yelled in surprise as he felt him self fall into the cold black water of the lake, he struggled to swim as his armour weighed him down. He decided to use his magic to pull his armour off him and when he was finally able to swim to the surface of the lake he noticed three little fillies had stopped at the lake and they had a completely shocked look on their faces.

"Excuse me young one can you help me out of this lake please" he said as he swam to the edge. As he got close the three fillies moved towards him and helped him out of the lake.
