Chapter 1

A new Rival appears?!

After watching the game, everyone was going home... well not everyone.

the team of Manehatten was scouting the match for new players, however, they found that the match wasn't fantastic, both teams were equal hoofed and Ponyville won by 2 point difference, still, a win was a win though the scout "Time to make a little chat with the coach of team Ponyville" he said to himself.

In the meantime, after Rainbow Dash was done hugging Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie, she walked to Applejack "Hey! AJ, what did you think of the match? pretty awesome right?" Applejack looked towards Rainbow "Ah has never been as impressed of those 2 in a long time! Still, had we given them a little more training they would have performed a little better." AJ pointed out "Still not bad if I so say myself!", "Come on! just agree with me that they were awesome!" RD nearly shouted, "Sure, but it was a difference of 1 goal!" AJ said grimly, "That is true... Still considering how Pinkie can't buck trees like she can with balls and Fluttershy too shy to do most things, they are both awesome in aspect!" RD pointed out, their discussion continued a little while.

The scout saw Rainbow Dash walk by and asked interrupting their discussion "Hey are you the coach of team Ponyville?"

RD and AJ looked up "Yea? me and Applejack both are, Why?"

"My name is Third Seven, just call me Seven, I am a scout of the team of Manehatten and was wondering if you guys would like to play a game with us, of course, if you win, your team will get a medal and some prize money, so how about it?" Seven asked

RD and AJ looked towards each other in shock, AJ who was first to speak up asked, "How much money are we talkin' about, and if we play when is the match?"

Seven grinned devilish "Well when, we can talk about, but how much?" he grabbed something out of his bag "This much!"

He showed a check with '10.000 bit'.

AJ and RD gasped, with RD being totally in shock unable to talk.

Twilight walked up and asked, "What's going on?"

AJ whispered in Twilight's ear "A scout of the team in Manehatten wants to play against us and if we win as in Pinkie and Fluttershy they will win 10 thousand bits." she whispered

Twilight gasped, regained her thoughts and asked "if my friends win as in the whole team? Coach and trainer included? also, what happens if 'we' lose?"

Seven stroked his chin and said "Well if they lose, nothing happens next to lost morale and pride, and yes this will be split by determining we performed the best and the least when it comes to the players normally, but it's like this: players get 50% of the cut, while the coach get 25% and the trainer also 25%, this is only if you don't have more people hired, also you guys will determine what every player gets and what not"

"I see" Twilight said calculating the numbers

"This could increase if you sell merchandise, food and other goods, also if you are thinking of a career in our sport, it's recommended that you use a field and equipment specially made for buckball!" Said the tall figure in the back

"LUNA?" Twilight nearly shouted

"It's good to thee again!" Luna said getting hugged by Twilight

"Y- Your highness!" Seven screamed

"What are you doing here?" RD asked finally relaxed

"Well I am the highest owner of the Buckball society, I create tournaments and official matches," Luna said gracefully

"I see" Twilight said

"So... you want to play an official match between Ponyville and Manehatten?" Luna asked towards Seven who still was bowed

"Y- Yes your highness!" Seven said

"I see, so if Ponyville were to agree, this would happen: 1. if either team losses, morale and pride will be lost, 2. If Ponyville wins they get a medal of honor and 10g Bits, 3. If Manehatten wins they get a medal of bravery and get 2g Bits from the organization. Is this correct?" Luna asked

"Yes, your highness!" Seven said now looking towards RD and AJ

"I see, well does Ponyville agree?" Luna asked

"Yes-" AJ and RD started but got cut off by Twilight

"I am afraid that isn't possible," Twilight said using magic to show her more princess side.

"What do you mean?" Seven and Luna asked at the same time

"Well, Ponyville Buckball team is: 1. not an official representative of Ponyville, 2. they are not even an official team, 3. The Coach and trainer can not decide for the whole team yet, they do not have the paperwork filled in, 4. A scout cannot create a match between 2 teams only the coach can, and last but not least 5. and as princess and a real representative of Ponyville, I WILL NOT allow yet, they are not prepared to take on more matches under Celestia's rule number 234532, page 666" Twilight said gasping for air

It took Seven and Luna to process that for a few minutes

seven was first to speak "Well if you aren't ready yet, here have my card, call us when you are ready, we will be waiting," he said before giving his card and walking off

Luna stood still, still processing what was just said.

"Or simply they aren't ready, pretty much," Twilight said sheepishly

"One moment let me ask you to write down what you said and give it to me in paper form," Luna asked absentmindedly

"All right, SPIKE!" Twilight screamed and heard Spike running behind Twilight

"Write down everything I just said" Spike nodded and began writing

"Here Twi" Spike said

Twilight gave Luna the scroll

"And let me call sister over here," Luna said with Celestia teleporting behind her

"What's the matter, lulu?" Celestia asked

"Read this and tell me what it says in normal words" Luna gave Celestia the scroll

Celestia stared at the scroll, then starting to read it

"In easy words, this team is unable to create matches, because they aren't a real team yet!" Celestia said out loud

"Thank you, Celestia," Luna said finally relaxing

"Twilight, please go away with your team, I have heard enough, here is my card if you need me," Luna said before teleporting her and Celestia away.

Twilight looked sheepishly towards AJ and RD before walking off

"Well that was a thing..," RD said

"Yea... how about we make this a real team?" AJ asked RD

"How about... Tomorrow? Today was really odd and it made me tired, plus we need to talk to Fluttershy and Pinkie about this, also snips!" RD pointed out.

"I agree!" AJ said while walking off

Pinkie and Fluttershy watched RD and AJ walking off,

Snips who was busy trying to do... whatever he was doing.

Pinkie turned to Fluttershy and Snips "Hey? What if we really did become an official team?"

"It would be pretty cool!" Snips answered

"I am not sure, I mean why would we start it?" Shy said

"For the money?" Snips offered

"Because it's fun?" Pinkie offered

"I guess, still I feel like something is off It's as if I get a strong sense of Deja vú" Shy said

"Meh Let's just check it out, we can always say if we don't want this." Pinkie said causing Snips and Fluttershy to nod.
