She ran, and she ran some more. She ran until all that surrounded her was but the dark forest on the outskirts of town. The weather was just dreadful, and as such was she. Perhaps now that she was away, away from that awful place - the place she formerly called home - she could get back on track. Or perhaps not, as the forest and it's inhabitants never stop hungering. Perhaps it would've been a better idea to stay at home with dear old mom, that crack-hoarding whore.
And as she ran, she found it. Asylum. A place to stay the night, a place to stay warm. But she'll learn the hard way, oh just you wait. Never trust an abandoned manor in the woods, for you don't know what it harbours. Perhaps it's a void, one that won't stare back.
