Author's Note

My very first fanfiction posted on this site. Some constructive criticism would be MUCH, MUCH appreciated, as I would like to become a better story writer.

Chapter 1

Last night was super amazing. Your bed was oh-so comfortable, and your Rainbow Dash plushie was the closest you were able to get when it came to sleeping with your favorite mare.

However, waking up wasn't nearly as pleasant as sleeping in your bed. It felt pretty cold, there was no blanket to help keep you warm, and you felt grass beneath you. All you had from back home was your plushie of Rainbow. You open your eyes, wondering what in the world is going on. Your surroundings are shockingly familiar. Despite it being dark, you can see that all the small houses are cartoon and colorful.

When you look at yourself, something surprises you like nothing ever had before. You can't believe what happened to you over the night. You- you're a pegasus pony. Many, many thoughts go through your head. How did I get here? How did I not wake up? Did anything happen to planet Earth? Where is my family? While these thoughts of panic happen, there is the bright side of things. You can teach yourself how to fly, and you're in the same world as Rainbow Dash. Or are you? Is this Ponyville? Is this the same land as in the TV show that you love to watch? You could possibly try and figure out the answers, but you're too tired to do so.

It's very early in the morning, yet you don't know exactly what time it is. You don't have a watch on, and the time of day in Ponyville is most likely different from the time you normally wake up. You go back to sleep, planning to explore this new world as the pony that you newly are tomorrow.
