The Kerney Boy

Social Gatherings and an Announcement

Previous Chapter

Now all these people hang out in this one club called the Kerney Bar. That's where we meet a few more of her friends. There's bartender Marcia Cooks and her husband John Gameratt. Also there's Kenny Soup, followed by Steve Iceii. The last one would be Mr. Ginny Susan. Don't they just look lovely together.

It's December, and that would be Hearth's Warming time 'round these parts. The lovely Ms. Cooks has contributed a fine performance of a brilliant tune titled AUTUMN LEAVES. Let's listen in on it:

I see your lips, the summer kisses

The sunburned hand I used to hold

Since you went away the days grow long

And soon I'll hear old winter's song

But I miss you most of all, my darling

When Autumn leaves start to fall.

After a rewarding applause from the audience, Ms. Cooks turns her attention to Mrs. Susan:

I have decided that I will start the new year off with a clean slate. I want to take another step forward in my life, and while I had a good run my two years in this town of Kerney, I think January 1st will be my first day gone. Gone off to Manehattan. That being said, December 31st I will say my final goodbyes.

As I have stated before, they aren't goodbyes for good. I'll come back sometimes, maybe once a month. But I won't say much, I'll just check in on everything and everyone.

I don't know if my story will be done in time to release. As for the rest of my stories, if anyone wants to take one that is in my "in the making" mural on my house, send it to me. Whoever bids first will get it (I don't know if I will actually give my stories away, though. This is only incomplete stories that I haven't wrote/finished yet). The Treatment is the one I was writing and I want to finish it.

I am grateful for this town. Kerney gave me wonderful friends, a way to grow in my art and writing and online etiquette, it gave me my soulmate and it was an outlet to many people. But I know what I must do now. If you want to stay in touch, come meet me in Manehattan, Hollywood or whatever. Within this week I will post my last of everything I do.

I am taking another step forward in life. I wish the best for all of you. God bless and Merry Christmas, I thank you all for making my journey in Kerney worth it.

This announcement made me sad. It also made my best friend in Canterlot sad. Speaking of the latter, he said "What? You leaving? I don't think so." I complicity agreed. I said "I feel very sad about this" and cried on his shoulder.
