Left With Nothing
IV - Romance
Previous ChapterNext ChapterAce left for home and went to sleep again.
He woke up. He wondered what Twilight would be thinking. He trotted to her house again.
He knocked on her door. She opened the door immediately.
He cantered in.
This time she had something to give him.
She kissed his cheek. His face turned a pink.
"I wish I had something else to give, sorry." She said.
"It's perfectly fine." He answered, cheeks still rosy.
They locked eyes again, this time blushing, yet still staring silently.
Fluttershy's cheeks went from a pink to a bright red.
It got more intense.
They both smiled at each other.
She eventually looked away.
They talked about whatever came into mind.
"Would Twilight want you to move on?" She asked.
"I think so, yes." He answered.
"Before she... Left, she said she wanted me to know she wouldn't want me to... mourn." He barely said 'mourn'.
"Oh. She probably would say something like that." Fluttershy observed.
It started getting late. They both trotted outside to watch the sun set together.
The sky turned a bright pinkish-orange.
The two gazed into each other's eyes again, faces close.
They pressed muzzles together, kissing as the night fell.
Both their cheeks turned a bright red.
Fluttershy's whole face was a shade of pink.
Ace chuckled quietly at this, smiling gently.
They both laid on the grass.
They looked to the sky, the stars aligned as if they were making the shape of Twilight's face, smiling above them.
Ace saw this, and shed a tear.
