Darkness. There was nothing but darkness. Then a light formed from that darkness made its way into existence. From that light, everything you know was formed. History wrote itself, forever written on pages and continuing to never fade away, continuing to be told and retold. So that we may learn from it and make the world a better place.
Five people stood.
Five people started to walk forward.
Five people stopped.
Five people met their fate.
One person was hit, hit by a bolt of lightning that shook her violently.
One person fell, fell through ice that sealed shut, trapping him.
One person was caught, caught in a fire that drowned out her screams.
One person was pushed, pushed off of a cliff into the deep sea and left to drown on his own.
One person was swept up, swept up off her feet by a violent hurricane.
Five people stayed motionless.
Five people changed.
Five people woke up.
Five people would change the world.
