The year is 3495, and the New Lunar Republic has split itself from the Solar Empire. The two empires are on friendly terms, but the expansion into unexplored space has caused the NLR to have a lot of trouble from pirates. While the pirates are mostly under control and little more than a nuisance, there are other watchful eyes just beyond the veil, and they are anything but friendly.
