Chapter 14: Love & Tolerate

It's has finally been a full year since I arrived in Equestria. I've had many problems along the way but it was worth it.

I have made many new friends and family, got a kick ass job, And I'm a fucking knight! I mean how cool is that?

I'm still staying with Fluttershy. Why you ask? Well I would like to get myself a house but staying with Fluttershy just feels right.

And no I don't have those kinds of feelings for her. Well maybe I do and same goes for Dash..... But that doesn't mean anything!

We're just good friends that's all. *COUGH COUGH!!* Anyways. Today I'm headin' towards the park with the girls and have a nice quiet picnic.

Fluttershy and I got there just in time. I helped out with setting up the picnic though. A few minutes have passed and the girls gave more amazing tales.

I laugh at some of the funny ones while said nothing to some of the ones that were sad. It was a joyful time with them and I couldn't be happier.

A few more hours passed and it was time to pack up. As I started to head back home Rainbow Dash confronted me. "Yes?" I asked her sarcasticaly.

Rainbow blushed for a second. "Well would you like to come with me tomorrow to Cloudsdale?" Said Rainbow while trying not to be embarrassed.

"Sure thing Rainbow I would like to come to Cloudsdale tomorrow." I said to her with a smile. She smiled back with such joy. "Hey Twilight! Can you enchant my clothes so that I can walk on clouds?" I asked Twilight.

"Sure thing Cody." Replied Twilight. Her horn began to glow. She then zapped me with the spell. It didn't hurt but it surprised me. "There all done." Said Twilight. I thanked her.

I woke up then next morning ready to see Cloudsdale! I walked outside and Rainbow Dash was there waiting for me. "So ready to go?" Rainbow asked me. I nodded.

"Well get on and hold on tight." She said. "Are you sure? I'm quite heavy." I said. "It's fine." Rainbow replied. I shrugged. Once I got onto Rainbow she took off in an instant.

This was my first time flying on a pegasus so I was startled. We finally reached Cloudsdale. It was somthing to be seen. As I got off I panted from the startle she gave me. Rainbow chuckled at me "Sorry about that guess I should've prepared you for that."

"*pant pant* It's fine Rainbow. *pant* Just warn me next time you *pant pant pant* do that." I said to her while catching my breath. She giggled. "Welcome to Cloudsdale! One of the best places in Equestria. Well except Ponyville." Said Rainbow.

I finally caught my breath. "It looks amazing! Like somthing out of a fairy tale. No offense." I said. "None taken. A lot of non pegasi feel the same way too." Said Rainbow.

I sighed just to make sure that it wasn't too personal. "Come on I'll show you everything is." Said Rainbow as she grabbed me on this adventure.

She first showed me the main town and all that, then towards the arenas, then to the rainbow factory [don't even think about it], then towards the ice room, and finally all of her favorite places in Cloudsdale.

It was really somthing else. It felt like another new world I have just explored. We stopped and grabbed a bit to eat. I was really curious on what they had here. It could be just my imagination on what they had for food here.

After the food was brought to use I challeneged Dash to and eating contest. First one to eat there food the fastest wins. "Oh your so on!" Said Rainbow. We scarffed the food down as fast as we could. I won by a near 0.5 seconds.

"AH HA! I WON!"I yelled in victory. "Darn it! I should've guessed you would've won with that big mouth of yours." Said the sarcastic Rainbow. "Hey watch it little Miss Dashie! Our you'll be in a rude awakening tomorrow!" I said to her with my own sarcatic voice. We laughed in the end.

As we started to head towards the last place on her vist list I had a felling something was about to go amiss. We got to the place where Rainbow Dash did her first Sonic Rainboom ever! Ah mermories.

But just as the nice day was about to end in peace it was ruined real quickly. "Well well well. If it isn't Rainbow Crash! And I see you brought your pet monkey." Said Hoops. We turned around to see the *Three Fuckerteers* standing behind us. Hoops, Bells, and Skates.

These ponies are also one of the few ponies I hated with a passion. They would definitly take 3rd place on the list of people I would love to kill.

"Leave us alone Hoops were just trying to have some fun." Said Rainbow. "Check it out guys. I knew she was a whore but I didn't know she would be an animal whore too!" Said Hoops. They all started to laugh.

I looked at Rainbow and she was starting to cry. I couldn't take it anymore. "Hehe. I guess it's true on what they say about chickens." I said outloud. they all looked at me. "What did you say ape?" Said Hoops. "Well i was just saying that its true on what they say about chickens." I replied.

"And what's that?' Said Hoops in anger. "I'm justing saying that who knew that chickens were so damn stupid." I replied. "You calling us chicken?" Said Hoops. "Well I'm not talking about you face now am I?" I replied. "Nopony calls me chicken." Said the furious pony chicken.

"Oh my bad. What I meant to say was dumbfounded poultry." I replied while smirking. "OKAY THAT'S IT! YOUR GONNA DIE NOW APE!" Yelled Hoops. He then charged at me but it was just too easy to dodge. I jump right over him as he fell to the ground.

"GET HIM!" Yelled Hoops. Bells ran at me and this time I tripped the bastard and he fell. "YEAAAGH!" Yelled Skates. I turned around to see the other pegasus flying at me. I then got into Meteor's stance again "HOOOOO.....WAAA!" I yelled at him. I grabbed his throat and rear back leg and tossed him against the others.

"YOU'RE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!" Yelled Hoops. I chuckled. "Yeah don't think so dude." I replied. "What?" Said Hoops. "I'm getting tired of this. So I'm just goning to let you off with a warning." I said. "A Warning? What kind of loser lets us off with a warning?" Said Bells.

"The one who was chosen by Celestia herself as a Royal Knight Of Canterlot that's who!" I yelled while showing them my medal. There eyes went wide with surprise. "Now get out of here before I send you three to the dungeon for assaluting a Royal Knight and harassing this mare for years!" I yelled to them. They got up and ran away in fear.

"*sigh* well that could've gone better." I said to Dashie trying to calm her down. "Thanks Cody nopony has ever done that for me." Rainbow said while trying to recover. "Hey no problem. Nopony deserves that kind of pain and I should know! Besides they had it coming after what they did to you and Fluttershy." I replied while stroking her mane.

"Thanks Cody." Said Rainbow. "You know what? You really are a hero Cody." Said Rainbow Dash. I chuckled at her comment "Hehe thanks. Now let's get back home and relax." I replied.

A few days have passed and It's been really weird and I mean REALLY WEIRD. Everypony I meet runs away from me like I caught a cold or somthing. But that didn't bother me. But as it went on that comment kept coming back over and over again "You what? you really are a hero Cody." "Hehe. Me? A Hero?" I said to myself. How am I a Hero? I mean sure I like to help and don't care what happens next but a Hero? That's new.

I kept thinking on why Dash called me that. Did everypony feel the same way? I just don't get it. As I kept thinking on that comment I didn't know that Twilight was heading right for me. "Hello Cody." Said Twilight. "Oh hey Twilight." I said.

"Soooo what'cha doing?" Asked Twilight. "Eh nothing much. Why?" I replied. "Well I was going to ask you to take a stroll with me today?" Said Twilight. "Sure why not?" I replied. She smiled with such joy.

We spent a few minutes talking about our day yesterday. I told what had happen at Cloudsdale and the comment Dash made to me. "I'm just have never thought about being called a hero. I mean this is just a first and I'm still overwhelmed." I said to Twilight.

"Well Cody this is the first time someone has complimented you on somthing you've have never done before. So your mind is just taking it's time to process this and you'll have to except it." Replied Twilight. "Huh. I guess your right. Thanks Twilight." I said.

"Your welcome Cody." Said the smiling Twilight. We got to Twilight's place but I didn't know at the time that this was an important day for me. I opened the door and it was dark. Twilight the turned on the lights.

"SURPRISE!" Said Everypony in the room. i was actually surprised about this. I then looked at the banner and it said "Happy Birthday Cody!". I looked at Twilight in shock.

"What's going on?" I asked her. She giggled. "It's you birthday party silly." Said Pinkie. "You don't think that we would forget about throwing your first birthday party in Equestria do you?" Said Rainbow.

"We had to get you away from here for the past couple of days so we could get this party started!" Said Twilight. I face-palmed myself. (So that's why eveypony was acting strange around me) I thought to myself.

"But wait how did you all know today was my b-day?" I asked them. "Ya'll forget you told us yar birth date when we first meet remember?" Said AppleJack. I began to cry tears of joy again.

"Thanks again girls for everything." I said to them. They all hugged me and said "Your welcome Cody". We broke the hug and we partied like no tomorrow!

We spent the next couple of hours partying. It was awesome! I then got an idea! This was going to be awesome! I went up on a stage that was built for karaoke for someponies.

I then gave a nod to my band mates at they grabbed there gear and also got on stage. Everypony knew what was happening. I was going to sing again!

I thought real hard on what song I was going to sing. but I found out which one to do. I then grabbed the mic and signaled them to play another song I gave to them.

Everypony was just roaring at my songs. It felt great. But it didn't last long.

A crash came from the other side of the room. I thought it was those damn pegasi that hurt Dash and Fluttershy. Nope. It was some Diamond Dogs. (shit why does this always happens when I'm done singing?) I yelled in my head.

I could also tell it was the ones who took Rarity. "What do you dogs want?" Ask Rainbow. The big one just snarled. "We've come back to get what's ours!" Said the leader muut.

"And that would be?" Asked Spike. "Those two unicorns! We shall have what's ours!" Said the leader. He jumped towards Rarity and Twilight. But he didn't get far. I grabbed his leg and threw him towards the other Diamond Dogs and sent them flying through the window they came in.

"I'll be right back." I said to them while putting on my spidey stuff again. I walked outside ready to put these dogs in the pound. "*SNARLE* Stay out of this boy!" Yelled the leader.

"Yeah no. I taking you dogs out." I said to them. The dogs got into defensive position. I chuckled. "Bring it on your mutts! I'm going to Love and Tolerate The Shit Out Of Ya!" I yelled to them.

I got into Meteor's stance again ready to fight them. "HAUWOOOOO...... WAAAA!" I charged at them head on. I first webbed one then threw him towards the two charging from behind. [*spider sense activate*]

I jumped up and dodged the one coming up from underground and dropped kicked him. I then punched one sending him tumbling towards the hole that was made.

The leader tried to surprise me from behind. But I saw it coming. I webbed his face up a bit. He tried to get it off but when he did I Rider kicked against the wall. I grabbed his throat with such anger but not enough to kill him.

"NOW IF I CATCH YOU HURTING ONE OF MY FRIENDS OR ANYONE AGAIN I'LL MAKE YOU REGRET EVER BEING BORN! NOW GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I GET SERIOUS." I said to him in my evilish tone. He looked at me and nodded "yes never again promise." Said the Diamond Dog leader.

I let him go and he scurried off in the distance whimpering. As I got back inside everypony cheered for me. "Thank you Cody." Said Both Twilight and Rarity. "No problem. Just happy to help." I said to them.

Fluttershy and I got back to the house ready for the next day to happen. "*sigh* This could not get any better." I said before passing out........
