It has been a week since my girl's transformation to Lycans and not only them but the entire pack now are weredogs. I figured that I could pass the ability to the others of the pack after Rosie, Faith and the rest turned. So now my pack members are stronger, faster, and well I don't think there is another colony of Diamond Dogs out there as powerful and dangerous as mine. Not joking see we had that problem with the titanium but now they can dig through it, but that didn't stop Twilight, she still wants to figure out the tungsten titanium alloy thing. And come hell or high water that mare is going to do it. But as I said it has been a week so that means it's time for the Gala and my royal introduction to Equestria. I wonder if I could just say sick or I'm busy that day, nope not judging how all the girls are looking at me.

So being outvoted I reluctantly got dressed in the new suit Rarity made for me. But call it a suit is an understatement it looked like something the royals would wear pressed and white with trimming. The girl's dresses were indescribably beautiful each a different color of the rainbow.

I still don't understand why we need to get dressed at home when we are getting picked up by a royal carriage to be taken to the castle. It just doesn't make any sense to me but I'll just go along with it. Now as I was saying, we as in my mates Twilight and Cadance included the rest of the Mane Six, Spike his date, the CMC their dates all climbed into the carriage and were flown to the castle. Mine and the girl's guards left earlier by train so they could meet us there. Fetch and Poochi both insisted that my guards are present or I and my mates would not attend. There was no wiggle room Fetch stood looking Aunt Celestia in the eye and stated she has her guards, my mother hers, so I and my mates will have ours. Especially when word of Cesar and his mother attending the Gala reached us. From what I understand Cesar's mother Anubi thinks of herself as the God Queen of the Diamond Dogs as she can trace her lineage back to Anubis the first dog.

As we touched down in the royal garden we were greeted by my mother and aunt as well as my Bande de frères (Band of Brothers) and the Pleiades all in their armor.

"Your Majesties we hope you had a safe trip," Fetch said stepping closer.

Grasping forearms we greeted each other before being ushered inside. Moving quickly we made our way to an unoccupied room where we were allowed to sit and relax.

"Now I know that all of you heard some rumors about the Gala this year, and I have to say some if not most are true," Celestia said looking at all of us before taking a deep breath. " As you know tonight Rougarou will be proclaimed crown prince, and yes Lady Anubi will be here with her three children Cesar, Hele, and Persephone," She said looking at me as Fetch and I both growled angrily at hearing Cesar would be here.

"The other news is the Minotaur Ambassador will also be joining the festivities tonight," The voice of Blueblood was heard as he stepped into the room. "Greetings aunt Celestia, aunt Luna, Cousins, Ladies," Blueblood said looking at each in turn. "As Aunt Cesetia has stated Lady Anubi will be here, she will also be having her personal guards as her entourage," He said looking a little bored.

"Yes thank you nephew as I was saying with all the newly added arrivals we will have to increase the number of guards for security," Celestia said looking toward her sister. " Now Rou I want you to stay close to either your mother or myself," She said raising a hoof to stop me from responding. " I know you will have your guards there and you can take care of yourself but please humor an old mare," She said pleading.

I nodded and smiled at her. " Old mare, please aunt Celestia what are you eighteen hundred," I said only for my mother to cough out "she wishes" under her breath.

Celestia's response was to blow a raspberry at her now giggling sister. this intern caused everyone to laugh.

" Alright enough of that, now we would like to talk to Rou, Twilight, and Cadance in private for a moment," Celestia said as the mares were escorted out of the room by guards, while Blueblood took Rosie and the rest of my girls to the otherside of the room to talk. " Rou sweetheart," My mother said. " What we need to do right now is to tell you that Anubi is planning to set up a betrothal between you and one or both of her daughters. To form an alliance between Equestria and the Queendom of Canus," My mother said levitating two pictures over for me to look at. " The first is Hele and this one is Persephone and to be honest I think they would make a great addition to your pack," She said smiling.

I looked at the pictures and had to admit they were attractive, but still to set up a betrothal without asking me and the girls. I had to refrain from growling at both my mother and aunt. I know it's all political but still, all I know is I better be part of the negotiations or I'm going to be cursing up a storm in English, Creole, and Cajun I garontee. I spent an hour talking with them about what I was to do during the Gala from greeting guests to dancing with the wives and daughters of nobles and dignitaries.
After that, I was pulled to the side by Blueblood. "Now cousin I wish to tell you that the reason the minotaurs have come is not to do with the Iron Ore contract between your colony and Equestria, but the method to turn iron into steel," He said looking at me shrewdly. "The method was lost to Eques over a thousand years ago," He stated matter of factly.

When a guard notified us of the time we all got ready. The mane six sans Twilight went their separate ways while my girls all of my girls stood or in the case of Rosie and my five heavily pregnant mates were allowed to be seated. Greeting guest after guest, noble after noble dignitary after well you get it. Halfway through I think my shoulder was dislocated and lost feeling in my hands.

When the last two guests to meet finally came. First, the Minotaur Ambassador who turned out to be King Longhorn himself who for some strange reason made a hasty retreat away from my mother and aunt. I believe it was mostly to do with the predatory smile I gave him with the promise of introducing him to some Cajun cookin'.

The very last was Lady Anubi and her brood, and I will say this she carried herself as queen would. She still wore the traditional diamond dog fashion with the addition of pants. It seemed that the only ones interested in being here were herself and her daughters Cesar kept looking for a way out and her guards looked like they wanted to tear every living thing apart.

When she finally made it to greet me she stopped and stared with a hint of surprise. "Greetings your Majesty allow me to introduce myself," I said taking her hand and kissing the knuckles. "Rougarou Etienne Lebeau son of Remy (Gambit) Etienne LeBeau and Princess Luna LeBeau," I sad which I knew would make my mother happy.

I greeted her two daughters the same way, as for Cesar I just nodded.

ANUBI POV

I was angry that I was the last in line but when I saw what the prince did to the walking beefsteak I couldn't help but smile. And when I finally was able to meet him it was like I was standing in front of an Alpha Predator. The power that was coming off of him was intoxicating here was the Alpha of Alphas and if I was feeling this I knew both my daughters were already soaking wet. No wonder my son was afraid to talk about his encounter with this creature.

After greeting the last of the guest we proceeded into the ballroom whereas promised I did dance with many of the ladies or at least those who would dance with me. At about halfway through the ball Celestia called for everyone's attention. Gesturing for myself and my mates up to the stage where the musicians had been playing we stood there waiting for her to speak.

"Mares and Gentle Colts, Honored Guests it gives me a great feeling of pride and joy to introduce Rougarou Etienne Lebeau the Crown Prince of Equestria," Celestia said as she took a step to the side allowing me to take center stage.

There was applause coming from all around until we heard a scream of rage "NOOOOO THIS WILL NOT STAND WE THE ARMY OF THE RIGHTEOUS WILL CLENS OUR WORLD OF THIS FREAK AND LOWER FORMS OF LIFE!!!!" A unicorn stallion yelled before lowering his head. "Die Monster," He said as he fired a spell at me.

ROU's POV

The world seemed to slow down as the bolt of magic was heading toward me and I braced myself for the pain hoping I would survive. But nothing came all I felt was something crashing into me only to see it was a body, but not just anyone it was Jacklyn. Dear god no I thought as my brain caught up to what was happening. Jacklyn moved in front of me, my pregnant Jacklyn moved to protect me.

It was complete silence throughout the ballroom until ponies started to panic. Candance was the first to react. "We need to get her to the Infirmary now," She said activating her magic and teleporting the both of them.

Celestia and Luna took over ordering the Nightguards to subdue the stallion and take him into custody. I just sat there on the floor looking at where Jacklyn was lying just a few seconds before all around me stood my Bande de frères and the Pleiades. All of them had transformed to their wolf forms growling and some snapping at anyone or thing that came to close. Twilight had ushered the other girls out of the room heading to the infirmary to be with Jacklyn and Cadance. It was at that moment when I lost it. I let out a horrifying sound a mixture of pain and fury knowing I had transformed I moved faster than anyone could see and began throwing the pony guards out of the way to get to the coward that had harmed maybe killed my mate and pups. I was just in reach of the prey seeing the fear of death in its eyes when something large and heavy struck my head knocking me out.

ANUBI POV

I was standing there with my children as we watched as Celestia introduce her nephew to the world as the crown prince. Then it all went to shit, first, some crazy pony starts yelling about that pony purist crap. Then the Ass fires a spell at the Prince only for one of his runt of a mate to step in front of him. I watch the typical reaction for these ponies which is to run around screaming. The pink Alicorn Princess took charge and teleported the young bitch out of there. Finding out that she was with pups made me want to tear the throat out of the cowardly mule. I looked again and saw that the guard dogs were different they looked more wild feral hell I just say it they looked like wolves. I was about to order my guards that we were leaving when I heard the most heart-wrenching sound ever. It was the sound I have heard many times and it still caused me to shutter. I looked around as everyone just stopped they stopped moving and making a sound. There was just, silences. Then seeing movement I looked and saw the biggest most powerful dog, no it was a wolf, it was Rougarou the king the legend was true the king has returned.

In the blink of an eye, the beast no this was no beast, it was perfection brought to life, it was every bitches wet dream. It moves to where the guard ponies were holding the mule and proceeded to toss the ponies away trying to get the one that hurt it mate. I looked over at my guard Killmonger, "well knock him out before he kills everyone," I yelled watching as the ponies were trying and failing to stop what was inevitable. With one very hard swing, Killmonger hit the prince no this Rougarou the king in the head knocking him out and I will say I have never seen that bitch look so scared in my entire life. Making my way to the doors I quickly began to make plans yes there will be an alliance between Canus and Equestria, and if the great Rougarou would take one if not both my daughters the better. Hell if it comes to it I would even be a submissive bitch to him.

I wake up looking around to see I'm in the infirmary I hear someone talking to me realizing it was Twilight.

"Oh, Rou thank Faust your ok everything is going crazy," She said before I cut her off.

"Wheres Jacklyn is she alright the pups what about the pups," I said starting to feel a sense of foreboding.

"Rou the doctors they said," Twilight began but was unable to continue as she started to cry.

I got up and moved past her looking for someone to tell me whats going on. And that's when I saw her Jacklyn curled up in a fetal position softly whimpering. I saw the pony doctor and grabbed his shoulder. "What happened is everything o ok," I asked knowing the answer.

"Your Highness, you must understand the Princess is alright her Lycan abilities save her, but I'm afraid that the magic was too strong. The four pups she was carrying are gone they didn't make it I am so very sorry," He said as he walked away whipping tears from his eyes.

I didn't say anything I just moved over to the bed. Looking down at my mate, I climbed onto the bed sitting against the headboard pulling her into my lap to just hold her as she cried. I just held her rubbing her back the rest of my pack moved around the bed reaching out placing a hand\hoof on her for comfort.

While this was happening outside in the hall Celestia and Luna were having a heated discussion.

"How could this have happened there was a barrier on the stage," Luna asked as she stood there.

"I don't know the only ones able to lower it ourselves and the ... "Celestia started to say before she cut herself off shaking her head in disbelief. "It is not possible he wouldn't, couldn't do this," She said as she turned even whiter.

Luna had figured out what her sister was going to say and she too became pale. "No, he wouldn't do that not in front of so many ponies, is his heart so full of hatred," Luna quietly said looking at the floor.

The sisters stop talking and entered the room to see Rou on the bed holding Jacklyns sleeping form as the others were still around them all holding a silent vigil.

Walking up to the bed the Celestia was about to speak when Rou cut her off. "So what happens now?" He asked not even looking at her.

"Well, the stallion that attacked you is now in the dungeons awaiting trial," She said trying to compose herself. " With all the witnesses he will be sentenced to life in prison,"

"Yeah like that going to help with all this stupid bigotry what about Jacklyn what about our pups what justice do they get?" I said through gritted teeth.

"And what would you have us do Rou we must follow the laws," Celestia said getting a little angry, not at her nephew but the laws of the land.

"Nothing you will do nothing," I said lifting my head to look at her. "Because as of this moment I King Rougarou Etienne Lebeau of the Diamond Dogs do declare war against the cowardly terrorists called the army of the righteous, we will hunt them down and kill every single one of them, So I say, So Mote It Be,"

Celestia's eye widened in shock at what she had just heard but knew she could not interfere, for Rou had used the correct wording of the ancient law only one of the royal family or any royal across Equis could say without repercussions from anyone.

Twilight upon hearing this understood what has going to happen, her mate, her husband the father of her children had just declared a Bloodwar on her own brother and his ilk.

"May Faust have mercy on their souls because my son will not," thought Luna as a small smile crept on her muzzle as she turned to leave the room.
