Chapter Three

 A week has passed since I became Alpha well actually it's been five days and we have had a few problems some minor and some major.
First, off the ponies of the most friendly town in all Equestria insert your own sarcastic tone there did exactly what I knew they'd do. When I brought my mates and some of the other dogs into town for supplies these friendly ponies ran screaming and locking their doors.

Some welcome isn't it, but not everypony did that, in fact, Bon-Bon opened her doors to us so did Mr. and Mrs. Cake. Twilight and the other girls were even being nice although Spike still didn't trust them at first until one of the young pups gave him a Saphire the size of my head as an apology gift.

Like I said Twilight and the others were nice and decided to help out. Rarity said she'd make new work and casual clothes for the entire colony with the promise of paying her back. Applejack would trade some fruits and vegetables for some work on the farm. Twilight and Miss Cheerilee volunteered to teach any of my new family, the colony included to read and write which was all the young and about half the adults.

But like I said there were some problems the biggest one was at Rich's Barnyard Bargains. Let's just say now I know what my Grandmere went through when she was young visiting friends in Baton Rouge the open and outright bigotry. I went in with just a handful of dogs and they had workers following us around the whole time watching everything we did. If one of them touched something and put it back the workers would either clean it off or get rid of it. And when we were done all the cashiers were too busy to check us out or they were on break. But what got me the most was what I heard when we left. "Why don't those filthy dogs stay in where they belong and out of our town and stores?" And this was coming from Earthponies, earthponies the kindest of them all. Hell, I knew most of the Unicorns in Canterlot were racist to other species even other ponies but not here and not them. Needless to say, I was pissed off so much so that I had to get down on my knees and apologize to my mates and Fluttershy for scaring them so bad from me yelling.

Let me tell you about my family my human family you see my Grandmere was a Mulatto or Milano Woman and a VooDoo Priestess who fell in love with a businessman from up north, New York I think, but he loved her so and the differences in color made no never mind. He loved her so that he moved from the big city to the bayou to be with her. One day he proposed and they got married that day in a little church in the mild of the swamp. My great grandpappy was the preacher and his wife and brothers were the witnesses. Now the people of the swamp don't care what color you are as long as you respect each other and the land. But the city folk don't act like that, they see color first then nothing else. Grandmere and Pappy had it hard at first till they moved to the colored part of town. And when Pa was born they had a whole new set of problems. you see Pa was lighter skin than his momma and had blue eyes but still treated the same as any colored folk in town. But if you read your history you know that all changed to the most part there was still hatred but not as bad. Then there came me, I still have my roots but what my pa told me my skin is as pale as the moon and my eyes and hair are as dark as a starless sky just like my mom's were. Yet I felt the stink of hatred because of who and what I was.

I asked him about her once and he told me what Grandmere said about her seducing him was nothing more than gator-piss. They met one night when she got lost in the swamp. She told him she been having a feud with her family and just up and left to cool off. When I asked him for more he'd start to tell me but just break down in tears telling me that he loved her so and no other woman could take her place.

But there is a light at the end of the tunnel. When I inspected the tunnels I did find one thing I was hoping for blue clay. It took me a little time to explain that the clay was a very good sign of silver and if it was then we would have the means to start my plan to make this family stronger in body, mind, and spirit. I took a few samples to the only pony I could trust if it was true. Pinkie Pie, after all, she did grow up on a rock farm and her sister Maud is a geologist. A few other things I did find out were that there was a very, very large deposit of iron ore that I had to talk to Celestia about. And the most important one was my new territory due to its size and number of citizens actually made me a noble or lord of the land even in Equestrian eyes even though it's underground. That meant I had a say of what went on in the country being an Equestrian citizen myself. Let's just put that little tidbit of info on the back burner for now.

Like I said about the bigotry it made me so damn mad and when the others found out it took me, Twilight, and Rarity to hold back Applejack, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie from storming into the store and causing a ruckus. What made me happy to know that they were really my friends was when Pinkie and Rainbow both called those ponies stupid Assholes and Applejack said they had Shit for brains. Although Twilight and Rarity felt the same way they chose to use more civilized words and actions by that I mean Twi sent a letter to Celestia about what happened. And to my surprise, Luna showed up moments later and boy I'll just say it she was royally pissed off for some reason. I don't know why she cares about it so much but somehow I talked her out of smiting all of them in favor of just giving them all really bad nightmares for a month. After that little incident, I did talk to her about the Iron ore we found and a possible contract with her and Celestia.

We continued our trip through town stopping at a few other stores but this time the owners stayed open. I guess having a Princess and the Bearers of the Elements with you makes them think twice. I picked up some essentials for the house one being a larger bed. I love my girls but I'm not sleeping on the floor forever.

After we got everything done at the house I took Luna and the pony girls to the tunnels to show them the improvements made there while Rosie and the others stayed home to rest.

Entering we were greeted by Fetch and two others in armor.

"Greeting Great King and greeting to you, Princess," Fetch said as the three dropped to one knee to Luna.

"Rise loyal subjects but pray tell why do you call my s.. good friend Great King?" Luna asked gesturing to me.

Standing all three dogs looked at each other before turning back to us. "Princess he is our Alpha but he is also Rougarou the King and the day will come when he brings us all together as one," Fetch said standing proud.

"My, my if I had known you were a King I would have snatched you up myself," Rarity said lightly giggling as the other girls joined her.

I turned to face her and bowed taking her hoof in my hand kissing it gently. "I am terribly sorry Ma Belle Guimauve (my beautiful marshmallow) but I think six mates is enough for me," I said making her blush and the others giggle.

After that, we continued our tour of the tunnels I have to admit we needed to stop a few times to get directions. I really need to make a map of this place but onward and upward as they. We came to the area I call the village. Basically, that's what it is now at first it was just a big empty space where the dogs slept no privacy everyone in the same room. But after two days of work, there were doors in the walls each one opened to a home for them, they even had windows no glass but still windows. Picture the Flintstones-style homes or just look at this because it was about the same just the whole place is underground.

And they did this in about two days, shows how hard of workers they are doesn't it.

As we walked through the town many of the DD's stopped and greeted us bowing to Luna and me. Everything was peaceful until two Dogs came running up to us.

"My King, my King grave news some diggers hit an unstable area and there was a cave-in five of them are trapped," One of them said running up to us.

"Take me there now," I said as we headed off.

When we arrived I could see the tunnel entrance was completely blocked with rubble. I moved quickly and started to pull the rocks out of the way. While I was doing that Twilight Rarity and Luna were using their magic to move the large boulders out of the way. Applejack and Rainbow Dash were helping me move the other rocks. Fluttershy was making sure the ones that were hurt outside of the cave-in got medical attention and Pinkie made sure everyone was calm and kept them from worrying.

As I dug I kept praying that no one was severely injured or dead. More Dogs came from their own tunnels to help dig out the others when they got word of it.

Luna used her magic to lift boulders twice the size of a manticore while casting a shield spell to keep the ceiling from falling. "I will not let this happen, my son now has friends and a family these Dogs are his people my people he will not lose one of them," She thought to herself as she, Twilight, and Rarity lifted the last boulder out of the way.

"Get stretchers in here and get the wounded to the hospital now move, move," I yelled when the tunnel was cleared.

My King over here," Fetch called as he kneeled next to a female dog." She is not breathing what should we do?" He asked as tears formed in his eyes.

I pushed him out of the way and began to perform CPR after about a minute the female cough and began to breathe on her own. Without thinking Fetch pulled me into a bone-crushing hug.

"Thank you, thank you, my King, you gave life back to my Sona," he said letting go of me to kneel down and kiss his mate I presumed.

"Ceaser," Sona said coughing lightly." It (cough) was one of (cough) Ceasers pack members that made the cave-in," She said as she was placed on a stretcher.

Hearing this I was filled with rage so much that I didn't see the Ponies or the Dogs back away from me in fear.

Hearing what Sona said Luna looked over to see her son stand there. She watched as his eyes changed from sky blue to deep red. Thinking fast she rushed to his side as the Bearers and the Dogs backed away sensing the dangerous aura coming from him.

Walking over Luna placed her hoof on his shoulder. "Wolf, Wolf, RougaRou!" She finally yelled getting his attention." Calm down it's alright we'll find who did this and they will be punished,"

After Luna calmed me down I walked over to a group of Dogs that were watching the rescue operation. Looking over them I saw one that kept looking everywhere else fidgeting. Thinking fast I said the only thing I could to prove that this Dog was the one I wanted. "Ceaser is a whiny little bitch,"

Saying that he bared his teeth while growling at me. Seeing this I move in as did two Guard Dogs before the mutt could react he was thrown to the ground and placed in chains.

"Get your paws off me you worthless cures I am Tiberius the son of Ceaser," He yelled as he struggled to get free.

"You almost killed my Sona you Bitch," Fetch yelled as he charged at the coward.

"Too bad, it didn't work," Tiberius said with an evil grin.

Before anyone could react there was a roar then.

Wack!!!

Tiberius fell to the ground whimpering as blood poured from his nose and mouth with me standing over him with my left arm stretched out and blood covering my fist. I quickly composed myself before turning to look at Luna.

"Princess would you please take this animal to Canterlot to stand trial for the attempted murder of Equestrian citizens," I said looking from her to him.

"I can not be tried these mongrels are not of this land and neither am I," He said as he slowly stood up.

"You are quite mistaken, pup for you see Wolf I mean Rougarou is a citizen and when he became the leader of this colony all of these Diamond Dogs became ones as well," Luna said as she walked up to the now trembling dog.

"What, what do you mean how dare you, use the sacred name for this freak," Hesnarels as he tries to get free from his chains.

"Watch how you speak to our King pup for he is the Rougarou," One of the Dogs that held him said as he punched him in the back.

"Enough take him to the surface and wait for the Royal Guards the rest of you help clear this rubble so we can get back to work those of you whose family were hurt go and be with them," I said before turning and walking away from him before I could change my mind and do something I would regret.

"You did well I am very proud of you," Luna said walking up to me.

"Thank you but I don't know why I felt so mad I just wanted to tear him apart," I said as I thought back to the rage I felt.

"It is the sign of a true leader who cares for those who are under their protection," Twilight said as she and the others caught up to us.

After that, we decided to cut the tour short and I showed them the way out. Saying goodbye to the guards as we watched as Tiberius was taken to canterlot for trial. I headed to Ponyville Hospital to see how everyone was doing as I was walking I noticed that Twilight and Luna stayed with me as everyone else left to go home.

"Um, Wolf can I ask you something," Twilight said only to see me nod my head. What did you do back there with Sona I mean she wasn't even breathing and the things you did blowing into her mouth and pushing on her chest what was that?" She asked as a pen and parchment appeared in her magic.

"Yes, I too would like to know of this breath of life that you performed," Luna Said looking at me.

Well you not too far off some times it's called the breath of life but the real name is Cardiopulmonary resuscitation or just CPR for short and if you like I can teach you how to do it," I said as both of them grew smiles on their faces.

"Really you would that would be amazing this could help all ponykind, just think of it, being able to save so many lives," Twilight said as she hopped around.

"Yes young Twilight that it could," Luna said covering her mouth with her hoof trying not to laugh.

Twilight stopped what she was doing and blushed.

"If you want I could also teach you the Heimlich maneuver that ones for someone who is choking on food or something trapped in their throat," I said as she scribbled down everything I said.

Knowing it would take us ten minutes to get to the Hospital I decided to explain everything I knew about both of them even having Spike help with the demonstrations.

"My little boy look at how you have grown you have friends that care for you a family that loves you and the leader of your own Kingdom and know you have shown us a way to save lives oh I wish I could hold you in my hooves and kiss you and tell you how proud I am of you, my little Rou," Luna thought to herself as a lone tear fell from her eye.

"Princess are you all right?" Spike asked her.

"Yes and thank you for your concern young Spike I believe that I am just tired so I will say good day to you all," She said only to activate her magic a disappear in a flash of light.

As Luna left we continued to the hospital with Twilight asking me more about my old world.

In my old world, those words sound so foreign to me after everything that has happened I can't picture any other place as my world.

We visited everyone and I explained what happened most of them were angry that I did not kill him for what he had done but they understood the sense we are citizens of this land we must follow its laws. As we were leaving Fetch stopped me at the exit.

"My King, I can not repay you for saving my mate," He said before raising his hand to stop me from speaking." But know this I will defend you till my last breath and I will make it my mission your dreams come true," he said dropping to one knee.

I was about to say something when I saw the others whose family members were hurt do the same.

I watched as Fetch and all the other males say in unison. "We are your claws. We are your teeth. We will dig through Tataris for you,"

I walked over and placed my hand on Fetch's head making him look up at me. "Thank you, all of you as of now this day let it be know that the eight of you are my Gropupe de Freres my Band of Brothers,"

Hearing this the eight of them stood up and looked at me as I put my fist out in front of me seeing this Fetch put his next to mine followed by another then another until we formed a circle.

I nodded at them and they returned it. "Now all of you stay with your loved ones and don't worry about tomorrow for there will be no work so everyone can spend time and have fun," I said as I turned and started to leave.

I walked Twilight and Spike back to the library before I headed home. As I opened the door I was greeted by Rosie who threw her arms around my neck burying her head in my chest crying.

"Oh, my Alpha we heard of the cave-in and thought the worst," She said as she continued crying.

I lifted her chin up to look at me and leaned in to kiss her. we deepened our kiss as I moved my hands down to her ass where I squeed it making her moan. After that kiss we separated looking at her I smiled. There is no need to worry my love there were some emergencies but everyone is safe," I said lightly kissing her again.

"Now where are the others I am getting hungry and after we eat I wish to please all of my mates tonight?" I said as I squeezed her butt again making her moan.

"Vickey and Jacklynn are in the kitchen making dinner and the others are upstairs cleaning," Rosie said tilting her head to the side.

"Then get the others the sooner we eat the sooner we can have fun in our new bed," I said turning her to the stairs and giving her ass a smack making her yelp and jump before she turned and smiled at me shaking her hips.

I made my way into the kitchen where I snuck up behind Jacklynn wrapping my arms around her and lightly nipping her neck. This scared her enough to make her drop the spoon she was holding onto the floor. Vickey turned to see what the noise was and gasped when she saw me rushing over to hug me as Jacklynn turned around and did the same. I kissed both of them and before they could say anything I told them when everyone was together I would explain what happened. I decided to help with the food by grouping the butts or fondling their breast as they worked making them moan.

"Stop, this is dangerous Wolf, let us cook and you go sit down or the food will be ruined. Vickey growled at me when I lifted her dress to rub my fingers against her sex.

Defeated I sat at the table and waited. Sitting there sulking I was thinking. "Hell this is my pack and they're my bitches and if I want to fuck them I should be able to bend them over and plow the hell out of their pussies if I wanted" I shook my head wondering where the hell that came from.

The others came downstairs I kissed each one and explained what happened they were all pissed especially Sabrina. I found out that Sona was her big sister and the only nonrunt besides Fetch to treat her kindly. I promised to take them to visit her and the others at the hospital tomorrow. We continued eating dinner talking about small things until we were done we all cleared the table and cleaned up before heading upstairs. When we got to the bedroom I began removing the girl's clothes touching and kissing each of them. Having them lie on the bed I quickly stripped climbing onto the bed joining them. The thoughts of ravaging them disappeared as so as I began to take in the different scents. Roses, lilac, cinnamon, strawberries, mint, and apples were their scents the way I could find them track them. I gently took care of each of them making sure their pleasures were met before I received my reward of fucking each of them to multiple orgasms. With our hunger filled we settled down for the night cuddled all together for warmth and safety.

I found myself in the forest again but this time I wasn't hunting for prey this time I was tracking a scent. Something I knew was too dangerous to live for the safety of my mates and our pups. I had to find it, find it, and kill it. Running through the forest I could see the wildlife move out of my way even Manticores seemed to fear me as they would either turn and run or just dropped down to the ground making themselves less noticeable. I ran until there was no place to run only a cliff in front of me. So I climbed and kept climbing knowing I was getting closer. Everything else was pushed from my mind the only thing I focused on was killing the threat. As I reached the top I found I was not winded or tired in any way looking around I found buildings. A small part of my mind knew this was Canterlot but it was pushed aside. The threat was close it had to die. Moving through the shadows making almost no sound I made my way to where the scent was strongest. I couldn't stop now I was so close, scaling a wall I found myself in a familiar garden. Looking around I saw ponies moving around but they could not stop me not now I'm so close. I moved this time there was no sound not even a breath or a heartbeat could be heard. Moving down down steps of stone the scent it was stronger now the threat was close. A door stood in my way trying to open it I couldn't get it to budge. Putting my weight against it tried again but the door stood firm. In my anger, I let out a roar. This alerted the ponies I could hear as their hooves hit the floor coming closer. The threat was so close and due to my foolishness, I was unable to kill it. The ponies were coming closer I had to leave the threat will live for this day but I will kill it to protect my mates, our pups, and my whole pack. I turned and bond up the stone stairs moving into the shadows of the halls. Keeping out of sight from the ponies I moved to find a way out to get back to the forest. The sound of hooves coming closer a scent one I remembered from long ago flashes of a face the fell of arms holding me the scent of my mother. No mistake it was her, she was here the scent was close. My thoughts changed from the threat to finding her, mother, she was here. Still moving through the shadows I enter a long hall there standing was a pony Luna the scent was coming from her but she was a pony, not mother. Our eyes met and I could see fear in hers, no not fear sadness she looked sad my focus changed to behind her a figure tall and dangerous. When I moved it moved the rage in me grew seeing the figure a monster it stood behind Luna ready to pounce.

We roared at each other as we charged jumping in the air to attack but that never came for pain flowed through my body so much I dropped to the ground my eyes focused on the monster but then I saw a reflection a mirror the monster, it was me. Tears I could feel tear fill my eyes the reflection showed them too then the feeling of arms wrapping around me wings warm and loving covering me protected me the scent, the scent of mother. She was here holding me close to her heart I felt rain hitting my head but not rain tears I look up to see Luna she was holding me not mother but the scent it comes from her why? Then a flash of light and my eyes begin to get heavy I can hear a voice Luna's voice.

I am so sorry I should have told you sooner but for now, sleep and all will be revealed when you wake I only hope you will forgive me for not telling you the truth my little prince my Rougaruo my son always remember that mommy loves you.
