“Where the hell is Rarity?” Rainbow Dash growled.
“She said she’d be here in five minutes,” Applejack offered.
This only caused Rainbow Dash to let out a frustrated sigh. She stuck her hands into the pockets of her tracksuit and paced from the bottom of Canterlot High School’s steps to the back of the institution’s famed statue.
“She always does this,” Rainbow Dash said.
“Does what?”
“She’s probably in the sewing room getting to second base with Thunderlane.”
“What the hell Rainbow Dash. You honestly think Rarity would do that at school?”
Rainbow Dash snorted and squatted next to the statue. She withdrew a hand from her pocket, producing a box of candy cigarettes. She pulled one out and munched upon it.
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.”
“Check Facebook. I bet you anything she posted a selfie with Thunderlane in like the past 15 minutes.”
Applejack gave a skeptical look but did as instructed, pulling out her phone. She thumbed through the interface and after a few moments, her eyes widened. “Son of a bitch.”
Rainbow Dash smirked. “Called it?”
“No, she posted a selfie with Soarin like ten minutes ago.”
Rainbow Dash’s expression sharpened. “WHAT!?”
“Whoa, whoa, whoa calm down sugarcube. Maybe Soarin just likes to sew?”
“I am one hundred and twenty percent sure that Soarin has zero interest in sewing. I can’t believe her. I have half a mind to just….”
The door to the school opened and Rainbow Dash shut her mouth.
Sunset Shimmer walked out, giving the pair a small wave.
“Oh hey, what are you two still doing here?” she asked.
“Were waiting for Rarity to finish up so we can go see a movie,” Applejack answered.
“Oh, what’s she up to?”
“Check Facebook,” Rainbow Dash responded with a dismissive wave.
Sunset Shimmer looked confused but pulled out her phone, swiping through it swiftly.
“Son of a bitch,” Sunset muttered.
“I know right!” Rainbow exclaimed.
“I can’t believe she’s doing that with Soarin. At the school.”
“I know!”
“Wait don’t you like Soarin?”
“Yeah! She’s totally stepping on my turf.”
Applejack shook her head. “So, what are you still doing here this late in the day.”
“Oh? Uh, just getting a bit of studying done. Ever since Twilight dragged me into that Calculus class I’ve been working my ass off,” Sunset replied.
“Well since you’re here. Do you want to come to the movies with us?” Rainbow Dash asked, “we're going to see that new horror flick. You know the one where the kidnapper has multiple personalities.”
“I’d love to girls but I actually have plans.”
“What are you doing?” Rainbow asked.
“Oh, uh,” Sunset ran a hand through her hair. “I’m hanging out with a friend.”
“Huh? What are you and Pinkie doing?”
“It’s not Pinkie.”
“Fluttershy?”
“No, not her either.”
“Oh, so you’re studying with Twilight?”
“Nope. I’m hanging out with somebody else.”
“Gasp.” Rainbow Dash faked a hurt expression. “You have other friends?”
Sunset raised an eyebrow. “Is that honestly such a surprise?”
Applejack shook her head. “No, not at all sugarcube. Go and have fun.”
“Alright, well I’ll see you guys later. I hope the movies great,” Sunset said as she began to walk away.
Both of the girls waved but Sunset had already turned around, walking towards her bike.
“She’s totally up to something,” Rainbow Dash said.
“Yep”
“Have you noticed it?”
“Yep”
“Every two weeks.”
“Mhmm.”
“Any ideas?”
“I don’t know maybe she’s hanging out with somebody from Crystal Prep?”
“Eh that doesn’t seem like something she’d keep secret.”
“Well what do you want to do about it?”
“Want to follow her?”
“What about Rarity?”
“Text her and let her know that she’s not the only person who can blow people off.”
Applejack snorted and pulled out her phone. “I’ll tell her that we missed the next showing and we’re heading to the arcade.”
Rainbow Dash stood up and gestured for Applejack to follow. “Come on we’ll take my car.”
“Did you fix the brakes?”
“I fixed some of the brakes.”
Applejack shook her head and changed directions. “Come on we’ll take my truck.”
With that the two girls marched off, leaving the school’s courtyard completely abandoned.
A few minutes later the doors opened once more and out came Rarity with Soarin. The two were holding hands and currently invested in a rather engrossed conversation. She briefly drew away only to get on her tippy toes, kissing him upon his cheek.
“I had an absolutely fantastic time,” Rarity said, “I’ll make sure to text you later.”
She looked out upon the abandoned courtyard and let out frustrated noise. “That’s just typical. Those two have absolutely no patience.”
Sunset Shimmer stood on the peddles of her bike, pumping her thighs to maintain speed up hill. She was now a good ten or so kilometers away from the school and in a far more affluent neighbourhood. The houses here were massive constructs with well landscaped lawns. BMWs, Audis, and Volkswagens were parked in the driveways and the few people that were out and about wore clothes with designer logos.
“What am I doing?” she muttered aloud through laboured breathing.
The intersections she passed all had arrogant sounding names like Emerald Crescent, Diamond Boulevard, and Sapphire Cove. She approached one labelled Amethyst Street and took a left, continuing along it until stopping in front of one of the many McMansions.
It looked like any of the others being of a rather tacky design with earthy colours that were poorly fitted to the climate. The only thing that made it stand out from the rest was the fact that the fence in the backyard was a good 4 feet taller than the neighbours.
Sunset hopped off her bike, resting it against the home’s garage. She made her way over to the door and pressed the buzzer. A series of bells chimed and Sunset nervously tapped her foot upon the concrete below. She could hear somebody on the other side as the electronic lock disengaged and the door swung inwards.
On the other side stood a gentleman who was at least a decade older than Sunset. His skin was milky white and he had rich blue hair that was kept in a business fashion. His apparel was professional as he wore a pair of khaki dress pants and a buttoned-up shirt with vertical stripes of mint green on white. The sleeves were rolled up, showing off a forearm which looked toned. His most defining trait however, had to be a thin blue gable mustache upon his upper lip.
The gentleman smiled at her. “It’s good to see you Scarlet.”
The two had met online and opted to use aliases she had come up with instead of their real names. She was Scarlet Shadow and he was Emerald Mask. The pair may have been ripped from a comic book buried away in her closet, but they worked.
Sunset grinned. “Its good to see you too Emerald. Can I, uh, come in?”
Emerald’s eyes widened as he realized he was in the way. He took a step back and to the side, making room for her. “Where are my manners? Come in, come in.”
She took a step inside and surveyed his entryway. It was an orgy of evidence displaying his wealth with paintings, sculptures, and antique furniture scattered through the tight but luxurious space.
“Did you bring your bike?” he asked.
Sunset nodded and drew her attention back to him. “Yes, I did. I parked it against your garage.”
“Well I better park it inside.” He took a step outside. “Your welcome to help yourself to whatever you’d like in the kitchen.”
With that he closed the door, leaving her alone. Sunset stood there for a moment before making her way to the kitchen. After 6 months of biweekly visits she had become fairly familiar with the place.
The kitchen was much like the rest of the house, expensive and bordering the fine line of classiness and gaudiness. A marble island sat in the middle of the room with several cold looking stainless steel chairs circled around it. Sunset shrugged off her backpack, placing it upon the smooth surface.
She then made her way over to the kitchen nook which looked and probably was hardly used. She opened the fridge, pulling out a bottle of Fiji water and a bright red apple.
“What am I doing here?” she asked herself again.
The apple tasted sweet and the water needlessly expensive as she made short work of both. By the time Emerald returned the bottle was in the recycling and the core in the compost.
Sunset leaned against the island, offering him a warm smile. “So how have thing been at work?”
Emerald gave a practiced sigh. “Work is work. Today one of our departments really screwed up and set us back a good week and half on a project. So I’ve been dealing with the aftermath of that.” He gestured towards her. “How about you? Is university going well?”
“It’s going fine. I’m currently in a calculus class that’s kicking my ass but it’s nothing I can’t manage.”
She must have had an edge to her voice because Emerald walked over, resting himself next to her. He kept his distance neither invading her personal space nor making physical contact with her.
“Are you nervous?” he asked.
“I always am.”
“Would you like to take today off? I don’t want you to feel pressured into anything my dear.”
She sighed and took a deep breath. “No, I’m fine. I’m just getting cold feet is all. I’m still having trouble believing that what we do is real.”
He nodded. “Do you enjoy it?”
“A lot.”
“Do you want to do it tonight?”
“Would I be here otherwise?”
“I was kind of hoping you came for my charming personality,” he joked.
Sunset was so nervous that she couldn’t help but let out a small laugh. “Alright let’s do this.”
“Same ground rules as usual?”
She nodded. “Same ground rules as usual.”
He pushed off of the island and offered her his hand. She gripped it and lightly squeezed his fingers. It was a small sign of affection, lasting only briefly.
“I’ll go and grab our gear. Feel free to get ready in the mean time,” he said before heading out of the room.
Sunset watched him leave and let out a pent-up burst of air. “This is a terrible idea and everything can go wrong,”
Yet she proceeded to do as he asked, walking from the kitchen and into his den. The den was a spacious and well furnished room with a massive bank of tinted windows. These windows faced the backyard and had a single sliding door built into them.
She walked over to these and looked out at his yard. The sight of it coaxed a reassured smile from her. Not only did Emerald have a massive fence but the yard was depressed a good three feet into the ground. There wasn’t a chance that even the most invasive of his neighbours could peer into it.
Sunset began to ready herself by stripping off her T-shirt and tossing it onto a nearby reclining chair. She then reached behind and fiddled with the clasp of her bra, popping it open within a matter of seconds. This was shrugged off and placed atop her shirt. With her breasts now exposed Sunset cupped them and lightly squeezed.
Even though Sunset was topless within the home of an older man she felt strangely calm. The nervous butterflies that hounded her hadn’t quite fluttered away but they had calmed to a manageable level.
There was a mirror on the wall and she examined herself within it. She smiled upon seeing her admittedly excellent figure. Her body was athletic with a toned core which when flexed contracted into a tight six pack. She also felt that her breasts were pretty great. They weren’t exactly large but they had enough weight to them that she could fluster any guy by wearing a lowcut shirt.
When Sunset finished checking herself out she unbuttoned her fly and began to carefully peel off her skinny jeans. As she removed her pants her socks got in the way and were kicked off. Both articles of clothing were added to the chair, leaving her with only a disappointingly boring pair of underpants. She looked at them in the mirror for a moment before sliding them down her toned legs, exposing her smooth nether region.
Now in the buff she made her way over to Emerald’s desk and sunk into his chair. Her posture was calm as she spun around to face the door. She did little to hide her body. After all it wasn’t like this was his first time seeing her naked.
A few minutes passed before Emerald stepped into the room. He was carrying a rather hefty looking black duffle bag which he let fall to the floor. His gaze turned to Sunset, lingering upon her form for a moment.
She smiled warmly at him before casually moving one of her legs to give him a better view. This managed to get a small blush out of Emerald which only made her smile grow mischievous.
“So,” Sunset paused to cross one leg over the other. “What do you have planned for me today?”
“I’m thinking we could start with a little bit of marching practice, then maybe some yard work, and finish up with a game,” Emerald said.
He knelt down and opened the bag. Inside was a plethora of black and red leather apparel.
The first article he removed was a corset. It was mainly red with a few black accents spread out across the surface.
Sunset pushed herself out of the chair, making her way over to Emerald.
“That sounds pretty fun.”
“I try my best to avoid making you do boring activities.”
She lifted her arms above her head and Emerald helped her into the corset. It was actually pretty small, settling into place just above her hips and below her bosom.
“Tell me when to stop,” he said as he grabbed the lace and began to tighten the corset.
The leather started to constrict, hugging her midsection tighter and tighter with each tug of the lace. Sunset breathed in and out slowly, testing to make sure she could still breath with ease. As the corset began to form the accent of an hourglass figure she held up a hand.
“That’s good,” she stated.
Emerald nodded and knotted the lace before tucking it away in the back.
He returned to the bag and pulled out a leather harness that matched the colour of her corset. Though it lacked any of the black accents. He held it out and Sunset spread her arms apart, holding them directly in front of herself. He then slowly slid the harness over her arms and into position.
It lightly hugged her chest, acting as a form of support for her breasts. What it was, was two horizontal bands that went above and below her bosom and circumnavigated her torso. These were then joined by four vertical straps that connected at the front of the corset before straying upwards where they flanked both of her breasts and intersected with the horizontal bands. They merged into two straps at her shoulders before moving along her back and then connecting once again with the top of the corset.
As Emerald adjusted these straps they began to tighten, furthering their support of her rack. Satisfied with his work he withdrew back to the bag, fishing through it for more gear.
“Do you mind taking a seat Scarlet?” he asked.
Sunset nodded and made her way back to the chair at his desk.
She loved the way the outfit felt. The tight restrictive binds of leather that hugged her in some of the most sensitive places.
The next items to emerge from the bag were a pair of speciality designed knee high boots that were constructed of a solid black leather. What made them so special was the fact that the bottoms were molded into the shape of an equine hoof. They even had a cast iron horseshoe affixed to the bottom.
Along with the boots came a pair of gloves. They were of a similar design being a solid black leather that would start at the elbow before transitioning into hooves. These also had a pair of horseshoes on the end.
Emerald approached with both items, placing them down upon his desk. He held onto one of the boots and knelt down before her. She instinctively offered him her left leg which he began to carefully slide inside. The interior was well cushioned. This was due to the shoe’s narrow design which would force her to walk on what were practically her tippy toes.
“So, what do you find difficult about calculus?” Emerald asked.
“What?” Sunset replied.
The boot settled into place and Emerald began to lace it up.
“Earlier you told me that you were getting your butt kicked by calculus.”
“Oh, yeah. We’ve, uh, started a unit on functions and I just… It’s not clicking.”
She offered him her other leg as he picked up the second boot. He repeated the process, gingerly fitting her foot into the leather.
“I know this may seem a bit awkward but I know a few fairly capable tutors on campus.”
Sunset swallowed hard and tried her best to avoid eye contact. The last thing Emerald needed to know was that she was in high school and not university. Though she was technically enrolled in both, looking at it from the right perspective.
“Thanks, but I think it would be suspicious if I was suddenly able to afford a tutor.”
He nodded and didn’t press the subject instead focusing on lacing up her other boot. When that was completed he grabbed one of the gloves and offered his hand to her.
In response, she laid her fist out upon his palm. He held it for a moment before sliding her arm into the glove. Once her hand had settled into the hoof she was only able to move her fingers a few mere fractions of an inch. For all practical purposes she had been robbed of a hand.
Sunset inspected the glove, noticing a small metallic clip on the back. This would allow Emerald to bind her hands into any position he desired. They could be anchored together or to the harness as a crude form of bondage.
The process was repeated once more as Emerald carefully fitted the second glove onto her other hand. From this point on she was at his complete and utter mercy. The idea sent a cold shiver up her spine and started a rather pleasant sensation between her thighs.
“Come on let’s take a couple of practice steps.” Emerald said, offering her his hand.
She placed her hoof within it and with his help managed to shakily get to her feet. She took one clumsy step, wobbling like an infant. Then she took another with a bit more confidence.
Emerald let go of her hoof and instead hovered his hands above her waist, readying himself to catch her if she fell. Sunset did not need this however as she confidently took a few more steps. She had gotten the balance just right and was now able to do a quick prancing lap of his den.
Emerald smiled. “See it’s just like riding a bike.”
Sunset snorted. “This is nothing like riding a bike.”
Emerald simply shrugged and moved once more to his bag. It had grown rather empty at this point, containing only three items. All of which were inside of ornate looking boxes. He shifted through them for a moment before selecting the smallest.
This was placed on the desk and opened, revealing a collar. It was made of a solid red leather with a narrow band of black cast over top. A series of silver metallic studs connected the black band to the red underneath.
Emerald picked it up and turned towards Sunset. She in turn stuck out her neck, allowing him to carefully wrap the thing around her throat. It had triple the width of a regular collar, covering a generous portion of the area between her chin and collarbone.
As the collar settled in place Sunset trotted over to window. With each step came a satisfying clopping sound that nearly imitated real thing. She braced herself against the glass, knowing exactly what was coming next.
The middle-sized box was withdrawn from the duffel bag. Inside was a stainless steel butt plug that was approximately five inches in length. It started off relatively narrow before slowly growing thicker until it had a diameter of roughly an inch and a quarter near the bottom. It then concaved inwards for a brief period before once again expanding into a flat base. From this sprouted a straight tail that was a mixture of red and yellow which matched her hair.
Emerald walked towards his desk and opened one of the drawers, fishing out a bottle of water based lubricant.
“Ready?” he asked.
“Can you warm your hands first?” she replied.
“My hands are always warm.”
“No, they’re not. They're like little icicles.”
Emerald snorted and rolled his eyes before placing the toy down on a nearby surface. He briefly rubbed his hands together and then blew warm air into them for good measure. Finally, he clapped them and picked the toy back up “Happy?”
She nodded. “Very.”
He approached, kneeling down behind her rump. She could hear him open the bottle of lubricant as well as squirt some onto his fingers. One of his hands lightly groped her left flank, gently moving it to the side. She hissed softly as the tip of two of his fingers were slowly inserted into her rump. They were ice cold.
“Motherfucker,” she muttered through gritted teeth
“Pardon?” he replied.
“Your hands are freezing,” she whined.
Emerald ignored her, moving his fingers a little deeper. He took it nice and slow, allowing her an abundant amount of time to adjust to his penetration. His fingers would press into her a fraction of an inch and then withdraw back an even tinier portion of that. It was a snail’s pace but eventually he managed to insert both digits all the way to the knuckle. He remained there for a bit before slowly removing them and letting go of her rump.

Emerald approached from behind, laying out the largest and most magnificent of the boxes. He opened it and pulled out the final piece of her uniform. It was a complicated but ornate looking bridle.
The headpiece started with a black latex bit which would fall between her lips. This was connected to a pair of brass rings which in turn were affixed to two solid straps of red leather. One strap would go directly behind, creating a band around her head. The other went diagonal upwards, joining with a leather crown of similar colour.
This crown would wrap around her scalp, being supported by yet another piece of leather that went over top of her head from front to back. Connected to each side of the crown was a fake horse ears that matched her skin’s hue and a solid black blinder. While at the front of the crown was a single symmetric phoenix feather that sprouted high into the air.
Emerald carefully picked up the bridle and began to place it upon her head. It was a fairly complicated article of clothing so it took a few very slow and delicate steps to get it just right.
Eventually the headpiece was fitted and with a bit of adjusting formed to her like a glove to a hand. Sunset opened her mouth without comment or question, allowing the bit to slide between her lips. Its texture was soft, allowing her to lightly bite it.
Finally, after so much preparation the outfit was complete. It looked absolutely stunning with Sunset hardly able to draw away from her own reflection.
Emerald smiled. “How about giving me a nicker?”
Sunset tried her best to imitate the sound that had once been so natural to her. It sounded foreign with her current mouth but still came out with surprising accuracy.
“You’re a natural.”
Emerald grabbed something from his desk. It was a three-foot-long lead made of the same fine black leather that constituted a generous portion of her uniform. The lead split near the end, turning into two parallel six inch lengths of leather. Each of these ended with a small clip. He carefully opened one of these clips, connecting it to one of her brass rings. He then connected the other clip to the other ring.
“Alright let’s start with a nice little walk around the yard,” he said whilst grabbing his end of the lead.
Emerald led Sunset towards the sliding door and opened it. They then stepped outside and onto his large wooden deck.
As soon as her hooves made contact with the wood Sunset neighed anxiously and tugged lightly upon her restraints. Emerald’s grip tightened in order to hold her steady as he reached out with a free hand, gently stroking her mane.
“Whoa, whoa calm down Scarlet. It’s just a little walk. You have my word that no one can see us.”
She whinnied softly and eased up her protest, causing Emerald to give her a small smile.
He stepped down the stairs to his lawn and began to walk the perimeter of the yard. His backyard was a rather mundane space being just a solid flat turf of grass with a little wooden shed at the far end. However, this was a still a wealthy person’s estate and while it may have looked mundane it was still incredibly spacious.
As they walked along the fence Sunset grew more accustomed to her boots. She began to take more confident steps and in response Emerald picked up the pace. They were still going slower than a normal walking speed but based on how quick she had adjusted to the boots that wouldn’t be the case for long. By the time, they had reached the far end of the yard she managed to walk at quite the tempo.
They did three laps of the yard before stopping at the shed. Outside was a single short fencepost which Emerald tied her too. He then stepped inside, closing the door behind himself.
This left Sunset in isolation which in turn caused her mind to wander. She thought about what she was wearing, what he was going to do to her, and what she wanted him to do her. All of these thoughts melded together, causing a fresh smattering of fluids to coat her quivering nethers. She even found herself guiltily thinking about him bending her over and breaking their long-established ground rules.
When Emerald returned, he brought along two new items. The first was a small riding crop which hung from his belt. The other was a plastic bag that was shoved into his rear pocket. Sunset could see the tops of a few bright orange carrots within it.
He untied the lead, grabbing it once again. His gaze fell upon her form. It was studious, seemingly trying to size her up. She felt her face heat up and redden when his eyes settled upon her fluid covered thighs. They didn’t linger there for long however as he soon made eye contact with her.
“Alright,” he began. “We are going to practice your parade marching. What I want you to do is lift your knee up until it is aligned with your hip. At the same time, I want you to lift your opposite arm and put it out straight.”
He unclipped the lead and wound it around his forearm before taking a couple of steps back.
“Alright give it a go.”
With that Sunset lifted her left leg and brought it in line with her hip. At the same time, her right arm was lifted and stuck out directly in front of her. She then carefully took a step and repeated the processes with her right leg and left arm.
Emerald nodded. “Not bad but let’s see if you can do it a bit faster.”
Sunset nickered as she took a series of well disciplined steps. Her positioning and synchronization were on point though she was unable to maintain a consistent speed. She’d do two quick steps and then pause to regain her bearings.
Emerald took note of this. “You’re getting better Scarlet but your pacing is still off. Focus more of forming a consistent pattern then taking perfect steps. Timing is a lot harder to learn then posture after all.”
She took his advice and focused her attention on taking steps. It worked to a degree as her pace began to quicken. The only downside was that her arms had fallen ever so slightly out of sync with her legs. This was a problem that only got worse with each successive step.
Yet, Emerald didn’t comment. Instead he studied her as she made her way across the yard. Each step crashed down to the earth with a satisfying clomp as earth and vegetation fell under her hoof.
Sunset felt a primal lust as the weight of the situation really dawned on her. Here she was in the open, wearing what was practically nothing in terms of preserving her decency. Her aroused privates were on display and she felt her breasts bounce with every heavy step she was forced to take. The fact that her handler was someone whose real name she didn’t even know only added to the blissful depravity.

In response, he grabbed her mane and turned her around. He then marched her back to the shed, making her face the house once more.
“We’ll take this from the top. I’m hoping to get at least one good lap out of you.”
Sunset’s cheeks burned with embarrassment but she did as he instructed and marched across the lawn. This time she managed a good mixture of speed and posture, obeying the pattern he expected.
Emerald kept a watchful eye on her, making sure she maintained adequate composure. He would occasional interject with some mild critiques, telling her to pick up the pace, lift her legs a bit higher, or keep her chin up.
It took a bit but eventually she was across the yard. Once at the deck she did an about face, planted her hooves on the ground, and held both of her forehooves against their respective shoulders.
Emerald walked by with hands folded behind his back. He paced around, inspecting her from every angle with a critical eye. “Alright, lets do another for good measure.”
Sunset huffed against the bit in a very equine fashion but did as ordered and marched herself back across the yard.
Now that she had a bit more time to settle into the pattern and reacquaint herself with his expectations the process went by a lot smoother. This allowed her to across the yard in a mere fraction of the time it previously took.
However, Emerald wasn’t finished with her yet as he instructed her back across the yard over and over again. They must have done at least a dozen lengths before he was finally content with her performance.
“Very good Scarlet. You’ll be ready to go on tour in no time,” he teased.
Her skin was drenched in a thin layer of sweat and she was panting forcefully into the bit. Emerald unhooked the obstruction from one of the rings, allowing it to fall to the side. then He waited for her breathing to settle and reached into his back pocket, pulling out the bag of carrots.
She made a gleeful imitation of a whinny and as a reward he offered her a larger treat. She munched upon it with little thought, chomping through the thing within a few dozen seconds. When only a stump remained, it was discarded into the grass. The bit was then reattached and her mane given a tender petting.
“Now, how would you like to help me with a little yard work?” Emerald asked.
Sunset happily stomped her hooves upon the ground in response.
Emerald walked behind and gently grabbed her arms, causing her to surrender control of the limbs. This allowed him to cross the gloves behind her back and clip them together. She tested the clips by tugged upon them, confirming that while small they were more than effective at bondage.
He ducked back into the shed, returning a few minutes later with something that had incredibly squeaky wheels. This managed to pique Sunset’s interest as she turned to see what it was.
The object in question was a bright red wagon. Much like the one she would have played with as a filly. Inside were various tools and a large bag that was generically labelled as “grass seeds”.
“Now I hope you don’t mind but I’m going to have to get a bit creative here.”
Emerald fished a length of coarse yellow rope out of his tools and tied it to the handle of the wagon with a strong looking knot. He then began to wind the other end of the rope around her hips in a clumsy looking belt. The rope formed three loops around her before being knotted, connecting her to the wagon.
“Now I want you to go over there,” Emerald said, pointing at a section of the yard tucked away between the house and the fence. He then loudly smacked her upon the rump. “Now mush.”
Sunset snorted indignantly but did as instructed, walking towards the barren patch of soil. The cart wasn’t overly heavy so she managed to briskly pull it with practiced ease.
It seemed enough to satisfy Emerald who used neither crop nor hand to correct her. She took a perverse pride in their months of progress. Back when they first met both methods had been a frequent tool for correcting her poor performance.
As they walked she wiggled her hips from side to side causing the tail to swish.
Emerald noticed this. “Someone seems excited today.”
She simply nickered in response.
They reached the little patch of soil and Emerald held up a hand, bringing her to a stop. He grabbed a rake from the wagon and got to work.
It was a simple enough job as he raked little grooves into the soil and filled them with seeds. The task took only a couple of minutes which made the walk over feel like a colossal waste of time. Though Sunset wasn’t really in a strong position to voice her opinion and instead opted to remain silent, waiting for his instructions.
Once finished he reloaded the wagon and pointed back to the shed. “Alright let’s put this stuff away.”
She grumbled into the bit but quickly shut her mouth as Emerald’s expression visibly soured. Instead she reluctantly turned herself around and began to march back to the shed.
As they returned Emerald paid her back for the lip and smacked her bottom with the crop. She yelped into the gag and bounced with the wagon, causing her nude body to jostle.
Besides that, the walk back was uneventful. When they returned, Emerald undid the rope and tossed it into the wagon. He then wheeled the cart back into the shed, disappearing inside once again.
When Emerald re-emerged he held a series of very colourful looking hula-hoops. There were five in total and each had a different colour. There was red, orange, yellow, blue, and purple.
“I think we can end today with a little game. What do you think?”
Sunset stomped a hoof and let out her best impression of a happy neigh.
Emerald began by taking a slow jog around the yard, dropping the hula-hoops in a wide circle. While they didn’t take up the entire yard the distance between any two was still a considerable.
“Alright so here is the game. I’m going to say a colour and you have to run to that colour. However, if I mention a colour and its not there you have to freeze. You gain a point for freezing or picking the right colour. You lose a point for picking the wrong colour or failing to freeze. Understand?”
Sunset nodded and lightly bounced on the spot. This caused some intimate parts of her anatomy to move in a very visually appealing manner.
Emerald held up a hand and began to count down. “Five, Four, Three, Two, One. YELLOW!”
Sunset quickly scanned the yard and bolted for the yellow ring directly to her right, bounding towards it at full speed.
The second her hoof touched it Emerald shouted. “RED.”
Red was across the yard and to her left. She pivoted upon her hooves, turning towards it. The grass slid under her and for a moment she thought she was about to eat a solid load of turf. However, she managed to stabilize herself and run towards the hoop, losing only a fraction of a second.
“Green.”
Sunset was in the moment and ran straight ahead only to peter out as she realized her mistake.
“Purple”
Sunset looked around and spotted the ring, galloping towards it at full speed. She failed to reach it however as Emerald listed off the next colour.
“Blue.”
Sunset switched her direction midstride and luckily managed to reach the hoop in the nick of time.
“Orange.”
This time Sunset paused, standing perfectly still as her chest rose and fell with laboured breath.
The game went on as colour after colour was listed off. Most had her clumsily sprinting back and forth across the yard. Only on occasion would he offer her a falsehood, giving her mere moments to catch what limited breath she could.
Emerald seemed content to continue the game even as the signs of fatigue became blatantly apparent.
Sunset had grown clumsy, missing colours and failing to pause with increasing frequency. Near the end, she had even managed to slip in the grass and slide across the turf, getting an entire leg dirty.
Even with that Emerald had her continue for a few more selections. Those last few colours were absolutely disgraceful and she could feel the demerits mount.
“Alright I think that’s enough.” He finally admitted.
Sunset was in pretty rough shape and looked like a well worked pony. Sweat coated her body, dripping from every pour. Her whole left leg was caked in dirt and she could feel the burn of abrasion under that. Even her hair had somehow managed to get frazzled and frayed.
This didn’t even include the humiliating level of dampness between her thighs. Which was a whole other issue in itself.
Emerald removed the bit and began to gently stroke her mane. He stayed close, waiting for her breathing to settle. When it did and she looked able to continue he finally gave her a little space.
“Lets head inside and get you into a warm bath,” he said.
Sunset smiled. “That….that would be nice.”
Emerald reached behind and unclipped the gloves, allowing her arms to fall to the side once again. He then draped an arm around her waist and walked towards the door.
“So, how did I do?” she asked.
“In what context?” he replied.
“How many points did I get?”
“Oh. Do you want the honest answer?”
“Sure?”
“I wasn’t keeping score.”
