As Twilight, Rainbow, and Sweetie made it to the schoolyard, they were shocked at what they were seeing. Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara were both covered head to hooves with blood and both fillies had a black eye. Ponies were gathered around as they were witnessing the greatest massacre ever to happen at Ponyville Elementary. Rainbow Dash was immediately sicken to her stomach with grief and anger.

" WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!? HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!?!?" Rainbow Dash exclaimed to a pale Apple Bloom who looked like she had witnessed a murder.

" Well.....you see.... it happened.... during recess.." Apple Bloom said.

At Recess......

During their algebra session, Scootaloo couldn't stop thinking about Rainbow Dash. She didn't want to think about her, she was still upset with her... but right before Rainbow had taken off, she had caught a glimpse of the Pegasus from the corner of her eye. She had never seen the Rainbow Mare cry and there she was, bawling and sobbing right before she fled. The look in the rainbow Pegasus just screamed, " I can never get over you. I never want you away. Please forgive me." That look made Scootaloo sick.... sick with pity. It was true, Rainbow lost her trust when Scootaloo stated it, but.... should she have been that harsh.... to make the toughest mare in Equestria cry????

Suddenly, the school bell rang, and all the ponies went outside for an afternoon of fun and excitement. However, Scootaloo looked empty, nothing could brighten up her day... which immediately caught the attention of Diamond Tiara.

" Aww... Look at the poor little filly.... Is filly about ready to cry???" Diamond Tiara mocked.

" Diamond, you know how ponies says it's worse to kick a pony when they're down? because you're doing exactly that." the smarter, less cruel, Silver Spoon said.

" Awww... Don't worry, I'm just playing with the friendless filly." Rainbow couldn't even view your performance, huh? I hear the judges just gave you the trophy because they felt bad for the runt." replied Diamond Tiara as she continued to curelessly mock Scootaloo.

"Up Yours, Diamond. I didn't see your parents there either. Maybe they got a new brat to feed." Scootaloo replied with a hint of a smirk as everypony was staring in awe at the comeback that was just thrown."

" What was that, Runt?" Diamond said making a hoof ( fist?) gesture at the small Pegasus.

" You heard me. In fact, I know a word that rhymes with runt, it begins with a c" chimed Scootaloo.

As Scootaloo finished her last sentence, Diamond immediately sucker punched Scootaloo as Apple Bloom, Sweetie Belle and Silver Spoon could only watch in fear.

Back to the present........

Rainbow knew it was up to her to stop this bloodbath before it got any worse. She ran up to protect Scootaloo just as Diamond was launching the final punch. DIamond's punch made contact with Rainbow's chest as the small filly grew shocked for a moment before directing her attention back to Scootaloo, who had just witnessed Rainbow take a punch right in the gut.

" Huh... So you finally show up for once, That doesn't matter, You're still a failure of a Pegasus, just like you're 'lil sis'" quirked Diamond as everypony saw Rainbow gear up for....a lecture?

" HEY SHUT IT,SNOB!!! YOU CAN SAY THAT TO ME ALL YOU WANT BUT DON'T EVER SAY THAT ABOUT SCOOTALOO!!!" Dash screamed before speaking in a slightly quieter voice, " You only have friends because you decide to place trust in others. Scootaloo takes care of herself and others everyday without trusting anypony else..... Even when the other ponies should've been there." Dash paused looking at a teary eyed- Scootaloo.

" So don't you ever call Scootaloo a runt! She's the strongest pony I know! Definitely stronger than me! She handles every problem by herself without expecting others to catch her and fall back upon, and that's more than I can say in myself. She doesn't deserve what she gets in life and yet she doesn't complain about any of it. She knows when she's wrong and she can admit her own shortcomings.... which I should've done a long time ago."

Rainbow was now focusing her speech towards her #1 sister. " Scoots, everything you said about me, you were right. I'm lazy, selfish and I only ever think of myself. I'm a failure of a pony who never wanted to realize her mistakes, I always wanted the easy fix. I don't deserve your respect for letting you down multiple times... Most of the time, I don't even deserve to have my awesome friends." Twilight slowly smiled when Rainbow cast a quick glance on her. " ...and I just want to say, I hope you have it in your heart to forgive me. I want to change solely for you Scootaloo, I've never been so upset with myself before because you are the pony in my life that truly matters... and even if you don't forgive me, just know that I'm always there, working harder.... to become a better pony.... for you."

Scootaloo began to sob at the heartfelt display and immediately ran to a happily crying Rainbow Dash, who was waiting for the biggest hug in the world. As the two sisters connected one again, Scootaloo slowly whispered, " This is all I ever wanted" and Rainbow began to silently choke up. Everypony had tears in their eyes at the affectionate display, except for Diamond Tiara, who clearly wanted both pegasi to eat the dirt.

" When my parents and I...." Diamond Tiara began before an angry Cheerilee walked up behind her.

" I don't think so young lady, in fact, I don't think anypony will ever see you at this school again." Cheerilee retorted as she cast daggers at the bratty filly.

Scootaloo immediately spoke up from Rainbow's embrace. " Cheerilee, wait, I was in this fight too. if Diamond Tiara gets expelled, then I should too."

The teacher pony was immediately taken back by the little pony's bravery and honesty. " Scootaloo, You're a wise young pony. I know you feel bad, but the truth is, I get sick of this brat's behavior too. She should be expelled for all that she has done and this is the icing on the cake."

Diamond Tiara sat speechless as she was then ordered to gather her things as everypony got up and went home to rest from the excitement for the day.

As Twilight, Rainbow, and the CMC walked home together, the others couldn't help but smile as Rainbow and Scootaloo were walking side by side, their bond reunited.

" Rainbow.... I love you."

" Love you too, squirt."

I hope you all liked this one. ( Truth be told, I was sniffling when I was writing the end) I love to write happy, emotional endings and hopefully this doesn't feel rushed.
