Chapters SCP-004; Aka 'The Milk Pony'
Euclid
SCP-004 is a pony that milks any sort of cow. It stands at 4'2 ft exactly, and weighs 78.34 pounds. It is docile until examined.
SCP-004 was found after one farm pony complained to Poison Control that all the milk that he was using looked green, and smelled of pus. Poison Control took it in for examination, and reported it to the SCP facility. The SCP facility gave a sample of it to D-Class 1994, who had began to transform into a cow, which was then terminated for experimentation. The SCP facility tracked the milk down to a pony called [Redacted], who only smiled at them when we asked for some milk. He gave the Mobile Task Unit a normal glass of milk, which was taken into SCP custody. The man was also taken into custody, and was taken to Royal court for trial as to what was happening with his dairy products.
It became clear quickly that the pony was of malicious intent, and assaulted Princess Cadence. Princess Cadence was of course shocked, but made no attempt to stop him. The pony had then grabbed her, and began holding her tightly as he screamed. The following was what the SCP Foundation managed to record.
"-DARN YOU ALL! If I can't be like the rest of ya, neither can you!"
Princess Cadence had tried to slip out of his grasp, but was held in a choke hold, as she desperately tried to free herself.
"UNHAND HER AT ONCE, OR I WILL EXECUTE YOU HERE MYSELF!"
"Luna..."
"TIA! I WILL NOT LET OUR NIECE GET HURT BY THIS PONY!"
"I just want to go back home. I want to see my daughter."
"NO! THOU SHALL LET CADENCE GO AT ONCE!"
"Please..."
"Just let her go. Perhaps we can make a deal, you let Cadence go, you can see your daughter."
"Then it's a deal."
The pony had then let go of Cadence, who was nearly out of breath.
The strange part about the whole ordeal, was that there was nopony at the farmhouse when the SCP foundation stormed the household. When the deal was made, nopony was really harmed, but SCP-004 proved to be very strong, much like SCP-038. When the Nine Tailed Fox team returned from their escort to the farmhouse, they reported the pony had just milked a cow. Nothing else was reported, and there was no other pony there. The Nine Tailed Fox team was a bit concerned, as the cow seemed to enjoy being milked.
The pony was taken into custody, and after a later investigation it was reported that the pony was murdering ponies and feeding them to the cows. A lot of strange things happened afterwards, and none of the pieces quite fit in. Milk that transformed Ponies into cows, A pony with unknown intentions, and some very puzzling evidence. As none of it quite fit together, it seemed the only place the pony could be put was the facility.
However, upon instruction to not give the pony a cow, the pony managed to get a cow into the cell with him. But, as the case was already strange, all he did was milk it. However, if he is watched for too long, he will [Expunged].
The room is dark, with no windows. The sound of my hoofsteps echoes throughout the empty room, a very sharp tap against the tiled floor. The spell books that are held by my magic give off a very faint light, not even enough to pierce the darkness that surrounds me.
I find the darkness lovely, an escape from where everypony else is. A place where I am truly able to think, without anypony trailing around me asking for friendship advice.
I sigh, and carefully set the books down. Lifting my head up, I try to look for a candle. However, the darkness is just far to intense. Honestly, I'm thankful I haven't tripped over anything, even if the room is sparsely populated in decor.
Slowly, my horn ignites with a brief flash, and shoots a thin line of light at the wall. Slowly, the wall blossoms into a throbbing light, then explodes throughout the room, throwing light onto everything. Suddenly, the room is lit up with a light that is much like the same as a candle, or a lantern. Only the light touches everything. Where there should be shadows, it is just the same tint as the rest of the room.
I smile, then turn to the door.
"Okay Spike. Room is prepped for experimentation!" I cry, then trot to the door. I open it slightly, to the dark hall. The light in the room does not move, and stays inside this room, and this room only.
"Gosh Twilight. I know that you wanted to keep this experiment private, but what is it with the lights?" My assistant Spike mutters, and drags in the chemistry sets, and remainder of spell books. "Did we really have to turn off EVERY light?"
"Well, Spike. What we are doing is technically... Well, it's kinda illegal." I admit.
"WHAT? Twilight, if Princess Celestia finds out, we will be in so much trouble!" Spike cries, and I sigh.
"Spike, I know! But I just want to know how this spell works! I need to know, Spike." I beg.
"Darnit, Twilight! Do you even know what this spell does?" Spike asks, raising an eyebrow.
"That's why I'm here, Spike. No idea. I got this spell book," I then point to a large book, "and began looking through the pages. I found this weird spell called NIL, but found no description. However, there was a set of instructions on how to conduct it. Isn't this exciting, Spike? An unknown spell!" I smile, and look to him for his opinion.
"Where... Where did you even get that book?" Spike asks, and looks to me, frustrated.
Spike always seems to try to keep me in line, to make sure I don't perform experiments that are far to dangerous.
"I found it in the Canterlot castle library. It was in the OFF-LIMITS section of the library." I say, smirking.
"Oh, of COURSE. Did it ever occur to you that MAYBE the princesses put that book there so that nopony could read it?" He argues.
"Well, duh! I just wanted a peak, saw the book, and knew that I had to have it! I promise we'll put it right back, as soon as we try this spell." I beg again, and finally, he gives in.
The other day, I didn't think I would have stepped hoof in that area of the castle. The princesses decided that it was not meant for everypony's eyes, but I jut wanted a peak. Out of curiosity, of course. My eyes had landed upon a small book cover, with a strange star on its cover. It didn't look like mine, no. It was a normal six point star, only upside down. With a circle touching every point. I had then decided to check into it, and it had some pretty weird spells in it. I decide that I should probably try a few experiments with the spells, and this is what landed my assistant and I in the room in the first place.
"Ugh... Fine, Twi'. But as soon as we are done, you owe me some gems. I'm hungry." He sighs, and strides over to a single workbench. "So. What happens if, you know, the spell makes you go crazy or something?" He asks, looking over the conduction procedure.
"Well, we have Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Rarity, and Pinkie to make sure I don't do collateral damage. Hey, maybe this NIL thing makes me as tall as Celestia! That'd be pretty cool, huh?" I stretch my wings, and look to him with a wide smile.
"Psh, you wish! She's freakin' tall!" Hey laughs, shaking his head in a simple 'no'.
"Well, maybe I could get as tall as Luna. She's tall too, right?" I ask.
"Meh, not compared to Celestia." He comments.
I grab the materials we need to perform the spell, and hoof about half of the supplies over to Spike.
We work in silence, slowly assigning the sacred items to their specific places. Yawning tiredly, I look to Spike to see how close he is to finishing his assignments as I finish placing the final book on top of the bench.
He looks to me, smiling as he places the last candle down in it's circle.
"Okay, Twilight! What now, shoot magic at the floor or something? I'm ready to see the cool part of this." Spike says, excitedly. This is the part where I usually end up having to cast some sort of spell, most of the time involving fire.
"Huh. Well, actually, this doesn't say anything about me using magic from my horn. It says here that I have to... cut... myself..." I freeze, as I take a closer look at the procedure. Now, most of the time, I would say 'no' to these procedures, but my mind begins to work around all of the ways that I could outsmart the procedure.
"Twilight? I don't think I want to see this anymore." Spike whispers, looking at me. He begins to fidget, knowing that the decision to continue is still in my hooves. Which usually means that I will continue in my studies.
"Yeah..." I mutter, and look at the instructions once more. Sure enough, there it is, the words still plain as day. I begin to come to a resolution, and know that I have outsmarted a spell that seems to be fairly easy to conduct.
"Twilight, don't do this. I love you, and I don't want you to get hurt." He begs. My young brother looks in my eyes, a slight sparkle of light being reflected off of his.
"I love you too, Spike. More than anything. You don't have to see this. I just have to make a little cut... It doesn't have to be big." I mutter.
"C'mon, Twilight..." Spike uncomfortably shifts his position.
I lift my foreleg up to my face, and push my horn against it. The horn cuts roughly through my skin and fur, and I have to grit my teeth to avoid screaming. I look down tiredly at my throbbing leg, and confusedly try to blink away the dots.
What did I do? Why... Why did I do that...?
"Twilight, are you okay?" Spike runs to my side, a worried expression plastered to his features. His panic stricken eyes gaze into mine, a sudden urgency in his voice. I don't exactly understand why that is, however, as I try to grasp onto the reality of the room that seems to be spinning like crazy.
"No... Ow, this hurts..." I moan, as I collapse to the floor. My hooves find their way around Spike, as he tries to drag me to the door. He seems to be surprisingly strong for his size, but I already know he won't be able to carry me.
"No duh, Twilight! Why the heck did you do that, you ripped up your whole leg!" He points to my leg, which is gushing dark blood out of it, as I try to understand what is happening to me. "I'm taking you to the nurse. Excuse my language, but buck this, buck you for being so darn stupid, and BUCK everything in this bucking room. You are bleeding like crazy Twilight, you went to far!" Spike pulls harder, but to no avail.
Suddenly, I snap.
"Spike, I am finishing this! I did NOT rip my leg apart for no reason." I growl.
"Twilight, please..." Spike begs. He's crying now, fighting me, DESPERATELY TRYING TO SAVE ME.
I ignore him, even though I want to listen to him so bad... Sometimes curiosity is like a poison. It takes a hold of your system, and no matter how bad you want to stop, it just pushes you forward. This spell is so strange, that I will literally be driven insane if I do not know what it does. I begin to breathe heavily, as the pain in my foreleg flares up like a flame.
"It says here th-that all I have to do now is lay down in the middle of all those candles... And then go to sleep." I moan as my blood seems to boil, as if I had magma as a replacement. I have to know, I HAVE TO KNOW, I HAVE TO BUCKING KNOW!!!
This isn't me.
I am not doing this.
"Twilight, you need help! You need to see the nurse!" He pleads for the final time. He looks broken, fearful, and more desperate than anything.
"Yeah Spike... Right after... This..." I fumble to the candles, and collapse in the midst of their warm embrace. My eyes slowly close as more of my blood slowly pools around me, sticking to my fur. I can't feel anything.
"Twilight! I'll, uh, get the Nurse Redheart, and your friends! Just hold on, okay? I love you Twi', just hold on!" Spike darts for the door, as I begin to choke on my own saliva.
"Spike..." I whisper. Spike's head snaps to my direction, as he moves for the door.
"What is it Twilight?" He looks directly in my eyes, fear for me coursing through him. The fear pulsing through him as if his... My very life depended on that simple instinct.
But something isn't right. I feel cold. I feel hungry.
"When you get out of here, lock the door. Barricade it if you have to. But get Princess Celestia." I whisper, staring off. My vision is locked on my foreleg, which has a large lump that is slowly traveling towards the gash that is still gushing blood, matting down my fur. Panic settles into me, as I watch the blood spill faster still.
"Twilight? I'll be back, okay? I swear, you'll be okay!" He rushes to my side and holds my hoof gently, looking in my eyes. "You went to far this time, Twi'. Celestia, you went too far..." Tears bead his eyes as he looks to the book, and then stands. Rushing off, he leaves me, closing the door behind him. Tightly.
The blood seeps into the floor, staining the nearly sparkling tile.
I begin to moan from the intensity of the pain, but close my mouth quickly as I feel something rough begin to take shape in my throat, which I assume is bile.
Twilight, Twilight, Twilight... They always did say that curiosity killed the cat. You were foolish. You were selfish, to listen to your own intentions rather than listen to your brothers. He tried to protect you.
"S-spike..." I moan.
No. You have made a mistake, and thou will punish for it. Do you know who I am? I AM A DEMON. I AM NIL. I own you now, Twilight Sparkle. Not even Satan himself can claim thy soul you have brought me. YOU ARE ALL MINE. I AM YOU.
I look up, to a smiling, dark figure. It wears a Cheshire smile, and its eyes are cold, and unforgiving. They bore into the essence of my very soul, claiming me, killing me. The smile reveals all of the beings that it has tasted, all of the souls that it has felt writhing beneath it's teeth. Its shadowy arms stretch out to me, as it's mouth slowly opens, spilling BLOOD AND RUST on the floor.
I begin to scream into the night, as the candles all blow out at once.
A soft crunch is heard, and then a thud.
The magic that once lit up the room is gone, and only darkness and silence ensue.
And then a single candle flares to life, barely enough light to reveal a shivering Alicorn, wearing a Cheshire smile.
And you are next.
When the birds fall silent,
And the trees withhold all their wisdom,
A demon, older than time itself will be shown.
It is probably with you now.
Silence.
The castle is in the midst of chaos.
Spike is desperately trying to explain what exactly happened two nights ago to the Princess's, and the Princess's are getting more and more worried. You can tell by the way that they slowly parade around the room, wanting to do SOMETHING, but not having that option to. Police ponies run about the room, slipping paperwork and death forms into binders. Starlight is sitting on her haunches in the hall crying, directly by the room that Twilight had collapsed in a bloody mess, twitching, giggling in a fit of hysterics.
Now that I have gathered enough courage to take a step into the castle, I'm seriously thinking about going home. Back to my cottage, where all my animals can comfort me, and I can just go to sleep in hopes that Twilight is okay.
Not that I don't think Twilight should have to suffer. I came here to help find out what exactly is going on, get my friend back, and go on a picnic with the others as soon as I get the chance. Because, honestly, I am scared as Tartarous of what lurks behind that door. I mean, who isn't? Princess Celestia herself is afraid to even go near that door.
I shuffle to my friends, concerned.
"Hey Flutters, sorry, we were in the middle of a meeting. Okay, so at the moment Twilight is in THAT room-" Rainbow Dash pointed to a door that was someplace that was off to the side- "and we have to standby in the event she has gone crazy." She explains.
"Uh, ah'm awful sorry ta interrupt, but that doesn't sound like a very important role for her best friends to be doin'. I reckon we aught' ta just walk in and talk ta her." Applejack comments. "She ain't gonna' hurt us, we're her closest friends!" She reasons.
"This is just dreadful, simply unpleasant! We could give her some green herbal tea, and have a civilized conversation over some muffins..." Rarity pitches in.
I highly doubt muffins are going to solve this issue.
Now, normally I would have totally agreed with Rarity, but there is something not right in this picture. Something's...
Missing...
"I say that we should throw her a 'BE HAPPY' Party! It's your party, be happy, it's a party, be happy..." Pinkie Pie yells over her bickering peers.
My gaze shifts from my friends and see poor Starlight desperately pleading with a police pony to let her in the room. I glance over my flank, and sigh, as my friends continue their seemingly endless argument. I begin to make my way to her, to possibly comfort her somewhat. It has been two days since anypony has even heard Twilight, much less seen her. Of course Starlight would be scared for her mentor.
"Please, I swear I won't let her out... I-I just need to make sure she's okay, she was so nice to me you see, an-" Starlight rambles on, as her eyes scan the floor.
The police pony lifts up his hoof, asking for her silence. "I'm sorry ma'm, we are doing our best. Your, uh, mom, she'll be okay." The royal guard says tiredly.
"For the last time she's my MENTOR, not my m-" Starlight is once more interrupted, as I enter the conversation.
"Please let me handle this. Thank you for handling her." I put a hoof on the guard's chest, staring at Starlight.
"Uh, ma'm, I-" He starts.
"Sh... No, I can handle this." I turn to Starlight as the guard leaves, confused. "Hey, Twilight will be okay. She's an Alicorn, she has been through worse than a defect spell." I reason with her.
"...But what if it isn't a spell?" Starlight asks.
I open my mouth to answer, but the room has fallen silent. Everypony stares at us, as I desperately try to answer her question.
But... What if it isn't a spell?
"What else could it be? It had to be a spell. It was in the Royal Library's prohibited area, and only dark spells and illegal spells were in there. The princesses said so." I reason, not sure of myself.
Starlight looks over to the princesses, who have stopped trotting about the room. The princesses share the glance, but quickly return to their devices.
"I think there was a book in there. A book that sure as Tartarous wasn't a spell book." Starlight mutters.
"What? Why?" I look to Starlight, who seems to be lost in thought.
"Because there are things, things ponies are still trying to explain. We are terrified of those things. Like, uh, that weird underground lab filled with chemicals of the prehistoric age. Radiation levels in some areas of Equus, those are a bit higher than usual. We don't know why. There might have been a civilization before us that waged war against another, and they killed each other with an astronomical amount of force. That's our best bet. The ponies before us, or whatever they were, they blew eachother to oblivion. That's what most of our scientists are saying." Starlight rambles.
"What does that have to do with anything?" I ask.
"It has to do with EVERYTHING, Fluttershy. The things before us left us little artifacts, little signs they existed. That we weren't the first. They might have not even known about magic, they might have used a completely different method. Perhaps what Twilight was studying, maybe that was what one of those things were. And what I just told you, Fluttershy, is way better than whatever the princesses would have told you. Even if it's just a theory...-" Starlight shot a glance back at Luna and Celestia, "-I'd say it's a very plausible one. And I'm gonna' find out what's going on in that room...-" Starlight turned back to me, a serious expression plastered on her face, "- Even if that means risking my life. For Twilight."
I sit down in bewilderment. I had only meant to comfort her, but got caught up in a huge theory instead. I was very confused, trying to piece together what exactly it was that she said. I sort of get the basic idea of it, but still...
If it isn't a spell, what's going on in that room?
Suddenly, Celestia clears her throat and begins to shout into the crowd. "Okay Everypony, I need you all to leave the scene. The only ponies that will be of assistance to this case are the Elements, Luna and I, and the few Officers I have selected as my guards. Anypony who remains on the scene will be taken into custody for disobeying Royal order. Good day." Celestia closed her eyes, probably trying to size up the situation.
I stand to my hooves, unsure of myself, and make my way to where my friends are waiting.
The princesses have finally finished their discussion, and are waiting for us to approach them.
As we arrive, they calmly begin to give us our instructions.
"Okay. As we all know, Twilight is in that spare room off to the side. Spike told us that she had asked him to barricade the door, and then went quiet. He had waited by the door, listening, for about ten minutes. He heard nothing, and came to retrieve us. However, when he returned, he found that the door was splintered in many places, and that some of the things he used as a barricade for the door had fallen off of their pile. This gives the indication that Twilight was alive, perhaps is, but we are clueless as to how to handle the situation. We have little in the terms of information, so the only thing we can do at the moment is wait. And listen." Celestia observes us, hoping one of us has something to say, probably.
We don't.
The Princesses, along with my group, move behind a blockade near the door. I'm not quite sure what the princesses want us to do. I mean, I understand that they want us to make sure that Twilight hasn't gone crazy, but after that? I already know that my friends and I aren't going to be able to stop her.
Surely, the Princesses must know that.
I sigh, and lay on the floor. I really need some sleep, the last few days have been quite crazy. I haven't got any sleep, despite my daily four hours. And, honestly, I haven't had much privacy to do anything normal at home, either.
Just as I begin to close my eyes, frightened and hurried yells are being thrown about the room.
"Lock that door! Don't let either pony out! Barricade it, but keep it closed!" Celestia yells, and I stand quickly.
"I knew that you would come save me, Starlight... " Twilight's voice was barely audible through the door, but all the ponies could hear her, as we strained our ears carefully, taking note of . Her voice sounded raspy, as if she had come down with the common cold in the past few days. A chill ran down my spine, and my fur stood on end.
Something was WRONG.
"Twilight, I can't see anything in here... Are you okay? Hungry, maybe? Gosh, they must have nearly starved you to death..." Starlight's voice echos through the nearly empty hall, giving off an eerie impression of evil, as if there was a dark cave we were all looming about in.
There wasn't an answer.
A shiver ran down my spine, as I felt Rarity softly hug me for some sort of comfort.
"Oh dear." She whispered softly, as my teeth chattered.
"I have something to show you, Starlight. Come closer. Please? You can trust me right? I'm your mentor, remember? " Celestia moved for the door and began yelling instructions.
"No, Starlight. Stay away from her!" She ordered.
"Oh no." A whisper was uttered, as a brief flash of light was seen under the door. I began to breathe heavily, as fear coursed through my body. The fear. The fear of the unknown, it was here.
"Starlight, stay away from her!" Celestia hissed, worriedly glancing at the door. The guards had moved far away from the door to a safe distance, and were watching with a very worried expression.
"OH GOOOOOD, YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS GOOOOOOD... " Starlight began to moan behind the door as Luna and Celestia shared a glance. God? What the hay is that?
"Starlight, what's going on in there? Is Twilight hurting you?" Celestia persisted.
A bright throbbing light was the response, and it pulsed like a strobe light on Nightmare Night during one of the many parties.
...
And then nothing.
"Well, it was fun, but I'm going home." I begin to trot away, and am stopped by the remainder of my friends. I'm not trying to abandon Twilight or anything, but HOLY CRAP that was horrifying.
"Fluttershy, we can't give up on Twily'. You're the element of Kindness, and you've been friends with her for over six years now. What kind of friend would leave another friend?" Rainbow Dash asked, flashing off her loyalty.
"..." I know what I want to say, but want to avoid an argument. So of course, I stick with my usual 'keep quiet' attribute. No need to argue wth the one who has apparently taken charge of the situation.
Silently, we watch the door. Waiting. Of course, nothing happens.
"Okay, so this isn't going to work. Starlight is still in there, Twilight is still in there, and we have basically accomplished nothing, except for losing another pony in the room. We need to do something, and it has got to be something that works. What we need, is a plan." I complain.
"Fluttershy has a point. Nothing is going to be accomplished if we sit here on our flanks doing nothing. We need to get somepony in there, somepony who can get out also. That will be our main priority right now." Rainbow admits.
Silently, I sigh, as all eyes look to me.
"I don't want to go in there. Heck to the mother bucking no." I answer, as straight up as possible.
"Nopony wants to go in there. But you have to. You can be kind to her, show her the way. And then, we can escort you out! No problem!" Pinkie Pie giggles, bouncing around. How can she be happy at a time like this? This is crazy!"
"..." I don't want to argue. I just want this to be over, and go home. So.
I agree to do it.
Why did it have to be me? Why did I, Twilight Sparkle, have to open that book? Surely, I should have known that it wasn't for my eyes to see. I did. I knew. But here's a thing that I didn't know. HE ALREADY HAD ME. He was making me do little things. You know, like running to the restroom for no reason, throwing books at my walls for no reason... Things like that. Then. Then I summoned him. He isn't a demon. He isn't even a spell. He's one of THEM. The ones before us. I didn't even... He let's me roam around the room now. Strange things have happened to the room, though. It has stairs. And it goes very deep. He keeps telling me that more poor ponies are going to get killed by me, I'm a monster now. I thirst for blood. It's not so bad, actually. I felt sort of bad for killing the first two. I mean, I knew them. They were like... They were delicious, though. Yeah. Pretty darn good. I love the FEELING, the feeling of power. The choice. Do I let my prey live? Die? That's MY decision. Not theirs. Oh, I know what you must be thinking. If I have a choice, why do I do it? Why do I rip apart poor Griffons, and Ponies, and creatures a like? It's because I like it. And it fills the void. It quenches my hunger. My thirst. But that's enough talk. I rarely do this with my prey, and you are no exception. See those stars down there? I'm gonna' give you to the count of one hundred. And then we will play a game. I call it cat and mouse. You call it No Hope Left.
I sigh, staring at the camera. Well. It looks like this SCP is never going to get a lower class. It will remain Euclid. Well, until it decides to stop killing our D-Class. Which it won't. See, I think it's sorta funny how these SCP's work. They think that they are so big, so powerful. This SCP is no exception.
Stupid.
Keter classes are what I'm afraid of. Those things are what TRULY make me afraid. I trot down the hall shaking my head as all my fellow Peers stand at attention before me.
"Redsopine !" I groan, as Princess Luna runs over to catch up with me.
"What is it, Luna? Am I on another patrol? Do I have to go clean out SCP-022's room? Ugh, please tell me she didn't eat another member of the staff..." I mutter.
"No. And thou should not be so disrespectful. Even IF you are the leader of this facility, that does not mean that you can disrespect your leaders in such a manner. Anyways, we actually need you to confront SCP-001. The one you were monitoring." At this, I stop. Is she CRAZY?
"Luna? Are you nuts? She has killed every D-Class that was put in there, heck, even Princess Celestia tried to get her to return to a normal state of mind. So did that one Element. Ugh, I remember when the cleanup crew pulled her ripped up remains out of there. Rest in peace, never forget." I close my eyes for a fake prayer, then continue on my way to SCP-030's room. Much more important than this.
"You have a point. However, we have only two options at the moment. Tia' is staying in her room, and will not come out. She demands to speak with Twi- I mean, SCP-001. I hate to say it, but Celestia is getting more and more lazy every day. Heck, sometimes 'I' have to raise the sun. All she does is sit in her room and eat cake, and honestly I'm sick of it. She wants her old student back, Red. Please?" She stops me, and looks in my eyes.
"Hmm, lemme' think...-" Princess Luna smiles widely-" No." I continue walking away, as she trots after me.
"Look, Red. She was an element bearer, and technically still is. Celestia is lost, and not even I can help her. Her old friends have encountered the same fate. Really, things aren't looking good for the future of Equestria. If Princess Celestia doesn't talk to her old student soon, I'm afraid she might do something drastic." She pleads.
"Like suicide? Look, if this is so important, why won't YOU do it?" I ask, sighing.
"She knows me. Actually, I think she's AFRAID of me. And that won't work, we need someone that she thinks she can control. And you are the perfect pony for the job. We need her to be stable enough to confront Celestia. She hates Celestia, you can tell by the videos. In one recording, she pretended that her victim WAS Tia', and had done things that would have gotten her an execution, had she been in the common public."
"Ughhhhhh... Fine... I want a promotion to a better facility though. This one has too many Keter's and Euclid's. There are like, only TWO Safe's, and they are not CUTE nor cuddly." I mutter.
"Thank you soso much, Red. Celestia is just so sad now... And well, I'm not going to lie, she's picked up quite a few pounds." Luna admits, as I laugh.
"Yeah, it's no problem. I'll be in a D-Class uniform in maybe, two hours. Right after I get some lunch." I respond.
"Oh? What are you to have? A buffet of roasted carrots and lettuce, and to wash it all down a nice glass of Orange Juice?" She asks, a small smile on her face.
"Nah. Cucumber sandwich on some whole wheat bread. With water, hehe."
I slowly make my way through the door as the others hurry for me to move.
"Good luck, Fluttershy! Bring Twlight back home for us okay?" The door closes behind me quickly, as I bite down hard on the lamp that I hold in my grip. Fear.
I take a step forward, and try to avoid staring at the door behind me. Safety.
I keep padding forward into an everlasting darkness, when a question comes to mind. How big is this room, anyways?
"H-Hello?" I call out ahead of me. No echo. No response. Nothing but me and this lamp, which, strangely, can only barely breach the darkness's nearly impenetrable wall.
I keep trotting, as I feel a strange, almost unnerving feeling. Like I want to sit down and go to sleep.
A staircase comes into view, which I promptly enter. Taking slow, very fearful, very cautious steps, I make my way down the stairs.
What was that?
"Fluttershy. Psst. Over here." I sigh in relief at the sound of Starlight, and turn quickly to find her. She is behind a door coated in rust and mildew, which seems impossible as I have not been here nearly that long. Nor has anypony else, for that matter.
"Oh thank Luna that you're okay!" I rush over to the door with a wide smile. "What happened, where's Twilight?" My expression falls when I see the desperation on her face.
"That... No, oh no... I was SO wrong to come down here, I-I only wanted to help and see what was wrong, and sh-she, she is a monster FLuttershy! She's going to EAT US!" Starlight screams.
I begin to respond with some words of encouragement, but stop when I hear it.
An echo.
And hoofsteps.
And neither of us are moving.
"Keep on t-talking, Starlight. I'm hearing some very interesting things that you are telling my FRIEND." Twilight's voice sounds completely natural, normal. As if we were talking on a regular day.
"Run Fluttershy, I-" A scream echoes through the room, as I take a step back in surprise. Blood sticks to my face as I take heavy breaths, taking more and more steps away from Starlight. Her hoof reaches through the bars on the door, waving crazily as I hear sick squelches from something sharp being shoved into her flesh. More blood sprays up from behind the door as she collapses, her hoof hanging through the door, slowly twitching. I take another step back, and stop, trying to catch my breath from the horror that I just witnessed.
"Sorry, Starlight. I didn't mean to hurt you so bad. I'll make it better later, I have to get our other friend, before she goes home. The party hasn't even begun!" I look up silently, without emotion at the door. Twlight's face is shoved against the door's bars, as she searches for me. Blood runs down her face, and she has a wide smile plastered to her features. Small fangs hang, and her horn looks a LOT more sharp... And far more deadly. "There you are! I'll be over there in a second, don't you move okay?" She leaves the door, and hard, fast hoofsteps rush away... To someplace.
It takes me a second to realize that I have to run. I try to move, but I can't.
I'm frozen in shock... I realize. I keep trying to move, though, right when Twilight arrives. She stands directly in front of me, tears in her eyes.
"Hey, Fluttershy. It's great to see you, it really is. I... I'm sorry. I'm a monster now, you can tell huh? I... I'm just not okay... AH!" Twilight began to scream, as I fell to the ground, lost in thought and in an immense state of fear. "Ah... Sorry. Nil... I'm bucking hungry, Fluttershy, I can't stop it." She grabbed me, and quietly flew over to the door that Starlight had nearly died by. She then shot it down with an astronomical amount of Magic, and dragged Starlight's body into a corner.
"I'll be right back, okay Fluttershy?" She exclaimed, then there was just... Quiet...
More blood pooled over to me, and stuck to my lamp and my hooves. I closed my eyes, and just... I waited.
"That wasn't as satisfying as I had hoped. Not when she was half dead... Oh no. I... I always liked you Fluttershy. Actually, I loved you. But... That was Twilight. And I am Nil." I watched Starlight's dead corpse leave a long blood trail as Twilight neared me. "Can you sing a lullaby as I do it? It... It would make me so happy. Please." Twilight asks.
I think for a moment, as the last part of my soul, the very kind part reaches out to me.
I try to do my best, but one lullaby sticks.
"T-twinkle, twinkle little star-" And that's when I died.
SCP-001; Aka 'NIL'
Euclid [Permanent]
The first SCP to join the foundation. It was discovered in the [Redacted] case, in which Princess Celestia and Luna were trying to discover what exactly was happening to a pony that went by the name of [Expunged]. The SCP appears to be a book with an upside down six point star, with a circle touching every point. It was apparently 'found' by [Expunged] in the Canterlot Castle library, and included strange spells as well as strange ways to execute said spells. It measures 6.15'x8.50' in inches, and is being held in a glass container in the Canterlot Castle, and remains there until Redsopine of the first Facility gives the order to have it decommissioned.
SCP-001B Is the product of SCP-001. It appears to be a bat-like creature, but of pony descent. It is not to be mistaken as a bat pony, as those are not an SCP. It prefers itself to be spoken to as a 'she', but it has yet to have been give the authorization for this title to be available to it. All D-Class levels are instructed to speak to 'her' as an it, and it seems to hate the term. [EDIT] After the Ponyville containment breach, it has had its outside privileges suspended. SCP-001B is not to come into contact with any of the [REDACTED; EDIT] Elements in the past, and, until stable, may not come into any form of contact with the Princess Celestia. After a short interview, the facility discovered the presence of more SCP's, and thus the SCP foundation was born.
"I have a strict policy about staying away from me."
"I'm not going to eat you. You aren't afraid right?"
"I'm very afraid. Now, can you give me some information as to what happened to the Element Bearer of Kindness?"
"On second thought, I might eat you. I don't like you."
"That's too bad. Because you can't eat me. Now, instead of acting so uncivil, please tell me what you did with Fluttershy and your, ahem, old student."
"I... I don't want to."
"There is nothing to be afraid of. You already consider yourself a monster, and nearly everypony in Equestria does too. So what happened?"
"I... It..."
"What's wrong? Did you kill her?"
"You know what I did already. Actually, I want to do it to you too."
"I presume that means you ate her."
"I hate you."
"Funny for you to say that, when all that I'm trying to do is tell the truth. Or are you afraid of that too?"
At this point, Dr. [Expunged] was attacked, and devoured. Several bones were recovered, however most organs were not. Any further research into this part of the investigation has been dismissed, and no further interviews were made.
Also, during the fifth containment breach, there were several survivors who reported seeing SCP-001B drawing symbols on the facilities walls, and attempting to summon an entity called 'Nil'. This was successful, and the result was SCP-001C, which has to stay in a 10 feet proximity with SCP-001B. Otherwise, the entity is harmless and poses little threat to any pony. Until further notice, SCP-001B must be 'fed' once a day, and given D-Class personnel for experimentation only. Although only two expeditions into it's lair have been conducted, there is still little reason for any more Level 3's to enter, as there is a high death penalty and not much to see.
SCP-002; Aka 'Nightmares'
Euclid
SCP-002 is an entity, much like SCP-001C. It is very hard to contain, but it is containable. Special containment procedures may include [Redacted], and Luna's assistance in it's containment. SCP-[Redacted] may prove some use to it's containment, but this is not recommended for any mobile task forces.
SCP-002 provides an unusual amount of discomfort in it's victims, and acts as a contagious form of 'virus'. This is not the case, however, as proven by Luna's ability to treat anypony that has come into contact with it. SCP-002 makes nightmares able to cause physical harm to a pony, so that when said pony goes to sleep, that pony can die in their dreams. Luna can treat it by [Expunged], but this is not to be used, nor executed. If some pony has come into contact with it, excluding Redsopine and Dr. [Redacted], they are to be terminated at once. The remains are to be fed to SCP-001B, and SCP-002 is to be punished by exposure to Celestia's sun.
[EDIT] After the Fillydelphia Containment Breach, the Third Breach (Aka Fillydelphia Flu), SCP-002 is to remain stationed in Ponyville Facility. Three PECES operatives assaulted a Mobile Task Unit in an SCP exchange, and all the currently known 'Contagious' Scp's escaped into Fillydelphia. The three PECES bodies were recovered, along with our Mobile Task Unit. They were then experimented on with a later SCP, which made SCP-012, or 'Sunshine Dust'. No Fillydelphia survivors were recovered. However, a Mobile Task Unit managed to contain the SCP's using [Redacted], but sacrificed themselves in the process. SCP-002 had escaped into Manehatten, but was captured in a 3 hour period.
Dr. [Redacted] is the ONLY pony who has the authorization to work with this SCP. Any pony else, [Excluding D-Class, for testing purposes] is to be terminated, except for the rare occasion of Redsopine, Celestia, or Luna. Some other class 5 personnel may have access, but only with full approval of the Royal Court.
The only known immune ponies include Princess Luna, Princess Celestia, and Princess Cadence, for obvious reasons.
SCP-002 can not be handled on the night of SCP-015, or Nightmare Night. Any personnel, or anypony for that matter, who comes into contact with it will serve as a host for SCP-002, creating an SCP-002B. These 'Nightmares' will abduct fillies and colts, and murder them in the midst of the night.
SCP-003
Safe
This SCP is being taken to the Royal court for verification. It may remain 'Safe' for the moment, although many ponies are already denouncing it as 'Decommissioned'. Redsopine has refused to let this be the case, however. SCP-022 had made a theory, that had many of the staff very skeptical. Although it is common for SCP-022 to act very hyper and ecstatic, the sheer idea of the theory made many ponies question the theory. The idea managed to make itself public, and nearly everypony prepared for doomsday/ the worst. SCP-003 did not have any casualties, but it did put the nation into a widespread pandemic. Even the princesses questioned the theory.
(As the theory is already global, it shall have no redacts or expunges from the document. Ponies that were not yet SCP's, or artifacts, will have their names granted to them in this paragraph, as stated by the law of the Royal court. Nopony from the facility will be mentioned.)
The theory was simple, but it was strangely frightening. Pinkamena Diane Pie stated during her meal over a party cake that there was some other sort of race that was watching us, as some sort of entertainment. Most of the staff dismissed this, but Pinkamena followed her claim with solid evidence. Apparently, according to her theory, we were created by ponies (she used the term 'People') that drew us, and created stories for us. A fan-base was made for 'people' who liked the 'show', that created more dimensions for us to have more activities. Eventually, it reached a point where there were billions of universes for them, so they could do as they pretty much pleased. She followed these claims with cultural references, and some very plausible minor theories.
At the time, there were so many theories floating around, that ponies began to get scared. This was dismissed by Celestia and Luna, who quickly and very subtly ended the gossip. Some ponies made cults, however, that sacrificed other ponies to 'the viewers' as a way to plead for mercy if they decided to come and abduct/kill them. Luna organized a rally to stop this as well, and was about 92.3% Successful. Cults still exist, and ponies still ask for mercy.
The theory is not to be mentioned to any D-Class personnel.
SCP-005
Euclid
SCP-005 is a toy puppet that can move freely upon it's own will. It is, indeed, sentient, and very violent. It is not to be mistaken as friendly, or playful, as some fillies and colts have judged it to be. The puppet in question has a very strange feature. Upon experimentation with SCP-005, all D-Class personnel that wore the puppet seemed to be lost in a alternate universe, in which Equus was dominated by the dead. D-Class who were in the universe, screamed quite often, and experienced muscle tremors. About 30% of those who wore the puppet died from unnatural causes.
Also, those who survived were given some nutrients, as they often complained and/or demanded food. Several interrogations went underway, and several suicides followed.
Interrogation #1; D-Class 226734
Luna: Hello, 226734. I am Princess Luna, and am here to ask a few questions.
226734: Oh. Well then, Buck you.
Luna: Unacceptable. Talking to me like that is unacceptable. Now then, I need to know what you saw when you put on the puppet.
226734: ...The...Puppet?
Luna: Yes, the puppet. SCP-005. Whatever. I need to know why you were screaming so loud. What happened?
226734: I was there for years! Oh my... I watched my best friend die! She was ripped apart, by... by... THOSE THINGS!
Luna: Mhm. What were they? Just telling me that your friend died is not enough to let me understand what happened.
226734: The, uhm, the weird pony things. They bit her, and ripped her t-to shreds... IT WAS SO BLOODY. SO VIOLENT. AS IF THEY DIDN'T EVEN... THEY DIDN'T EVEN CARE!
Luna: ... I see. Where was this event taking place?
226734: You must be bucking stupid, huh Princess? You let her bucking die! You damn loser! You can't even take care of your subjects, no, you only care about your stupid ass self.
Luna: That is not true at all. I would not be helping to secure these SCP's if I did not care.
226734: You. Let. Her. BUCKING DIE. Don't deny it. You could have saved her, I saw you watching us from the sky! You could have blasted those damn beasts with fire!
Luna: You are obviously delirious, my dear. Please, calm-
[226734 then proceeded to attack Luna, and succeeded in landing several strikes. Upon falling down, 226734 began to shout out that "The Puppet is here. It was in the Bedroom watching me!" before being disintegrated by Princess Luna's magic.]
SCP-005 seems friendly enough, but if put in front of ANY living thing, it will attempt to make the victim wear it through any means, even murder.
