Every tick of the second hand of the clock pushed Rarity towards insanity. Every second was one second closer to when Fluttershy would arrive, and when Rarity would have to tell her.

Rarity, you've rehearsed this a thousand times, it's as good as it'll get. You'll say what you need to say, and Fluttershy will understand. Let's just hope that she's okay with it, and she doesn't go along with this to not upset you. Oh Celestia I hope I not. I really don't want to make her uncomfortable. I hope Fluttershy knows that we've been dating for months, and that she can tell me any-

Rarity heard a soft knocking on the door of the Carousel Boutique.

"Coming dear!" Rarity replied

"Hi Fluttershy, how are you doing today?" Rarity said after opening the door.

"Uh, I'm okay I guess, how are you?" Fluttershy said while avoiding eye contact.

I can't do this.

"I'm wonderful darling. Come in, I have a pot of tea on the stove."

Fluttershy walked into the boutique and sat down , while Rarity disappeared into the kitchen. She then poured out two cups of tea, and brought it over to Fluttershy on a tray.

Rarity, you have to do this, you can't just pretend that everything's normal now.

"Cream and sugar as always?" Rarity asked.

"Yes please." Rarity poured in cream and sugar, then added cream to her own tea.

"So how was your day darling?"

"It's been pretty good. Chester the squirrel has been healing from his fall. I was really scared when I found him, but he seems to be doing a lot better."

"Well that's good to hear. I don't know how you keep tabs on all your animals and don't lose your mind."

"When they're not injured they do fine on their own. They don't need me watching them all the time. How have you been?"

"It's been a slow past couple of days here, but it'll pick up later in the year."

There was a palpable awkwardness in the air, as both Rarity and Fluttershy looked at their tea. Surprisingly, Fluttershy was the one who broke the silence.

"So, um, what was it that you wanted to talk with me about?"

"I guess we can't make small talk forever hm? Well, how do I say this... "

"Rarity, you know that you can tell me anything, right?"

"I know darling, it's just, strange, to say. I, have a fetish."

"Oh, I see..."

"I'm somewhat of an exhibitionist."

"A what?"

With that said, an awkward silence fell again. Rarity and Fluttershy both stared into their teacups. In the background, the clock ticked the seconds away, while Rarity thought how she could ask the question she knew she had to ask. She'd gone way too far, she couldn't back out now.

"So Rarity, umm. Where do I fit in to this?"

"Well... I want to, be in public with you, and use my magic on you, per say."

Fluttershy looked down at her tea, and tried to hide behind her hair. Rarity took a sip of her tea, having said what she wanted to.

"Fluttershy, I understand that this is a lot to take in, and I won't pressure you to deci-"

"I'll do it."

"Wait you will? You don't have to, I don't want to put you in an uncomfortable position."

"Yes, I'm okay with this. I have to admit, it sounds pretty arousing. Doing that, right in public? It sounds so naughty. And, I have actually, masturbated on a cloud, before."

Rarity made an exaggerated gasp, "Oh Fluttershy you naughty filly! When do you want to experiment?"

And just like that, the bell to the Carousel Boutique rang, as somepony walked in. Rarity peeked her head to look at who entered.

Upon seeing an unfamiliar face, Rarity yelled out "I'll be with you in just a minute darling!" She then turned back to Fluttershy, and said more quietly "Thanks for hearing me out, and I'll see you tomorrow." With that, Rarity gently squeezed Fluttershy's ass cheeks together with her magic, and gave a devilish grin. Fluttershy let out a surprised gasp, and hid behind her hair as she walked out. Now both ponies had to wait the eternity that was between then and tomorrow noon.

Well this is a thing. The title is a placeholder when I was writing it, but I couldn't think of a good title, so I kept it. As for the writing, I feel like it's a bit contrived. I'll try to fix it as best as I can. It's also been awhile since I've watched the show, so my portrayal of Rarity and Fluttershy could be completely fucked.
