3 - Some Other Third Thing

Previous Chapter

"I must say, it sure is a beautiful day." Rarity stated. As if on cue, a few birds flew past the couple. Celestia's sun was beggining to set, the skies were clear, and a light breeze blew through ponyville.

"I know, the whether has been great lately. I'll have to ask Rainbow Dash what the weatherponies are planning. Hopefully when it does rain it isn't a big storm."

"Oh I know. Once it rains, the humidity gets dreadful."

"And whenever there's a storm a lot more woodland critters come to take shelter. As much as I love helping, it's difficult caring for that many animals at once."

"I'd like to give the weatherponies the benefit of the doubt, but Rainbow Dash seems to schedule rain for whenever she feels like it. Well speak of the devil." Fluttershy followed Rarity's gaze, to see Rainbow Dash laying down on a cloud. "Good morning, Rainbow Dash!" Rarity yelled.

The rainbow-maned pegasus rolled over on her cloud, and looked down to see the couple looking up at her. "Hey Rares, hey Flutters. Where you two headed?”

“We’re going to have a picnic at the park for an early dinner.”

“Just the two of you? Sounds romantic.” Rainbow replied, giving a smirk to the couple. Fluttershy blushed slightly, as she thought of what they would be doing at the park.

“Whatever do you mean, Rainbow Dash?” Rarity asked, feigning ignorance. Rainbow opened her mouth to reply, but then decided to fly down to the couple, and checked to see if anypony was close before speaking.

“I'm going to cut to the chase. Fluttershy told me that you two were dating, and that you were keeping it a secret. I just wanted to make a little harmless jab for fun, ya know? And before you ask, I’m fine with you two dating.” Rainbow explained. Rainbow gave Rarity a second to process the information before speaking again. “Anyways, I’ll leave you two to it. I have to get lunch myself. See ya.”

“Goodbye Rainbow.” Rarity said, as Rainbow walked away. After a few moments, Rarity turned to her marefriend and asked “You told Rainbow about us?”

“Well, um, yes, I did. I know I mentioned that I wasn’t comfortable being completely open about our relationship, but Rainbow is very close to me, so I trust her to keep a secret.”

“Well it’s fine with me if you tell ponies about us, I was just curious about your feelings. Are you, ashamed about being lesbian?”

“No, not at all. It's just, uh, don't like telling ponies unless I have to? If that makes sense."

"I guess. But telling, say Twilight, is not exactly the same as saying it to a stranger. I don't need to tell you that our friends are close, and they definitely wouldn't judge you for it."

"I have no doubt that they'd accept it, but I just feel like it's kinda personal. They don't really need to know."

"Oh come on, Fluttershy. You've shared so much with all of us. You don't need to hide anything."

"I'm not really hiding it, I'm just not shouting it from the rooftops. If anypony asks me directly, I'll be honest."

"Well Fluttershy, it's not like they'll interrogate you about it. If you shy away, they won't push. I just think that-"

"Rarity, I don't want to. I just don't want to be that open."

"... o-okay Fluttershy, sorry." Rarity stammered, performing a decent impression of Fluttershy.

The rest of the walk was tense, but not out of anger. It was more of a long, awkward, silence. It lasted until they got to the park. When they arrived, they both stood without speaking, waiting for the other to break the silence.

"Well with a day like this, I'm not surprised that it's crowded." Rarity stated flatly.

"Yeah. Do you want to do this another day?"

"No, we can do it today. I told you, I have a good idea for a spot."

"A good idea?"

"Well we'll see if it's a good spot when we get there."

Rarity began walking through the park, with Fluttershy in tow. As they walked further into the park, Fluttershy noticed that it was becoming less and less crowded. After awhile, Rarity left the path to walk up a hill, with a large tree at the top. Fluttershy began to get nervous, as there were plenty of ponies who were sitting on the hill. When they got to the top, Fluttershy tapped on Rarity's shoulder to get her attention.

"Why are we on the top of a crowded hill?"

"So we can get to the other side." Rarity replied, and motioned at the other side of the hill.

Fluttershy looked down the hill, and saw that this side was devoid of ponies. There were only a few bushes.

"Why aren't there any ponies here?"

"Two reasons. One, there are no bushes on the other side. Two, the sun sets on the other side of the hill."

As they walked down and set up the picnic, Fluttershy mulled over what Rarity said.

"Wait, how did you find this Rarity?"

Rarity paused for a moment, "Well I was in the park, I think I was with Sweetie Belle, and I walked by this hill. As we were walking, I noticed that this side of the hill was empty. I thought it was curious, and I later came back when I needed to clear my head."

Rarity sat down on the picnic blanket, and motioned for Fluttershy to sit down as well.

"So, um, how are we going to do this?" Fluttershy asked.

"Well, first, we're going to sit here for a bit to see if anypony passes. And, we should probably wait a bit until it gets closer to sunset."

The two ponies sat down on the blanket, and began eating their dinner as they waited for the time to pass.

"Well I'd say that it's close enough to sunset now." Rarity said, as she put her sandwich down.

"How are we going to do this?"

"Well, I'm going to lay on my stomach, and keep an eye out. You get behind me, and have the picnic basket next to you, so if anypony comes by, you won't look suspicious. Relatively speaking."

"What will you do if somepony comes?"

"I'll move away from you, and say something to you. Trust me darling, you'll know if somepony comes."

"Ok." Fluttershy said, as Rarity laid down at the front of the blanket, with her hind legs spread. Fluttershy walked behind her, and lowered herself down. Sitting there, looking at Rarity's vagina, it all hit Fluttershy at once. What they were doing, with so many ponies just around the corner that could catch them in the act.

"It's rude to keep a lady waiting." Rarity pushed. Fluttershy realized that she'd been laying there, frozen. Fluttershy took a deep breath, shoved all of the doubts to the back of her head, and leaned in. She licked Rarity's pussy from end to end, starting from her clit. Rarity shuddered lightly at the touch, and let out a small gasp. Fluttershy continued licking, moving up and down her labia.

Rarity began moaning louder, and muffled the noise with her foreleg. Rarity moved her hips, trying to get as much sensation as possible from Fluttershy's tongue. As she was doing this, Fluttershy began prodding her tongue in and out of Rarity. As she did this, she moved her hoof up to Rarity's clit, and gently rubbed against it.

Oh Celestia, she's good at this.

Rarity remembered where she was, and forced herself to lookout for any ponies that might come by. As Fluttershy began sucking lightly on her clit, Rarity brought her legs behind Fluttershy's head, trying to bring her head in further. As Rarity's orgasm grew closer, she began grinding her hips against Fluttershy's mouth harder. Rarity's forehoof was covered in drool from hiding her moaning.

With one final lick, Rarity came on Fluttershy's face. Fluttershy continued eating Rarity out as she rode out her orgasm. When Rarity came down from her high, Fluttershy got up and laid down next to Rarity. Fluttershy and Rarity met each other's eyes, both leaned forward, and kissed. Rarity could taste herself on Fluttershy's tongue, as the two made out. When the two pulled back, Rarity grabbed a napkin and began wiping of Fluttershy's face, as well as her own forehoof. Fluttershy rested her head against Rarity's shoulder, and Rarity wrapped her forehoof around Fluttershy and leaned against her head. The couple laid there wordlessly, as they took in the sun slipping below the hill that they were taking shelter behind. As the sun sank past the hill, Fluttershy and Rarity packed up their picnic and walked home, enjoying the sunset on their way.

Author's Note

Thank you all for the love you've given this story so far.

Apologies that it took so long, IRL things got in the way, and I've been trying to force myself to focus on this story. I think moving forward, I'll bounce between stories as writer's block gets in the way. I'll figure it out. I think.

Also, is "speak of the devil" acceptable pony slang? Is there a ponified version of the phrase?

Also also, the title of this chapter is a reference to the Spongebob movie. I don't know why.
