Origins

The city of Blackheart, the capital city of the country Magni, located at the very north of Equestria. Magni is the only known country to be inhabited by the human race. Blackheart is a city where humans lived before and after the war between humans and ponies. Where did the humans come from, you may ask? Humans came since the beginning of time when the Gods, creators of the universe, created the planet Aeron and made human life there. The Gods are also known as the Deorum. The ponies came for a hundred years later when the Gods were experimenting on something and an accident occurred, making the ponies the second race to inhabit the World. When then two races meet in person, they begin to work together and built a society for the two to live in peace, founding the two nations: Magni and Equestria. The Gods didn’t expect for the two civilisations to be friendly with each other, until the next seven hundred years. Pony killings by humans have grown to a moderate level, Princess Celestia of Equestria had issued a warning to the king of Magni (i.e the Leader of all Mankind), Merthar, to stop the killings, but it kept increasing more and more for unknown reasons. Angered by this, Celestia attacked a town populated by humans with her army, bringing shock to the humans, beginning the First Human-Pony War. The humans were initially victorious at first but due to the magic the ponies possessed, they were driven back to Equestria. King Merthar was killed in the war and many of the human armies were decimated by the ponies’ might. To punish the humans for the war and the killing of the ponies, they hid the humans and Magni away from them and Princess Celestia and Princess Luna formed a barrier on the borders of Magni and Equestria, preventing any humans from entering Equestrian soil. The pony race then continued on without the humans, The Deorum were horrified by the event and nearly all of the Gods have faded from existence, leaving their world, Valgard, crumbling and near to it’s end. A prophecy was made by one of the remaining Gods that a human will be able to destroy the barrier, bring the human race back into Equestrian soil and take revenge on the ponies.

The day was 21st July 1001 (Magni Calendar) in a hospital in Blackheart, a person was born to the wealthy Johnson family. His parents: Joseph and Jodie. Joseph looked like he is on his thirties while Jodie looked like she was in her twenties.

‘Let me see, are you a boy or a girl?’ Joseph asked

Joseph finds that the child is a boy.

‘It’s a boy! A boy, we got a son Jodie.’ Joseph answered

‘Oh! Oh Joseph, my beautiful son.’ Jodie said

‘What should we call him? I guess Jonathan.’ Joseph proclaimed

Joseph called the boy “Jonathan”. Unfortunately a minute after Jonathan was born Jodie suffered a cardiac arrest

‘Joseph, Joseph!’ Jodie muttered

‘Jodie? Hang on Jodie, she’s in cardiac arrest! Get Jonathan now!’ Joseph responded

The doctors got Jonathan out of the surgery room and Jodie later died from cardiac arrest. Joseph, the middle-aged man, later carried Jonathan to their house located eight miles northwest from the hospital. By overlooking through the city of Blackheart, the buildings where made up of slums and had old technology. People had been poor and nearly left penniless when the barrier was set up. The barrier was made with magic coming from the ponies of Equestria.

‘Hang on son, we’re almost here.’ Joseph said

Joseph then reached to the front door of his house and opened it, entering his house. The house looked like it belonged to a wealthy person. After Joseph entered the house, a figure with blue glowing arms wrapped in bandages and wearing a grey cloak sat on Joseph’s couch and looked at Joseph. The room was dark and had no form of light turned on.

‘Is he there?’ The figure asked. ‘And where’s Jodie?’

The figure was speaking in a raspy voice, he could have been very old but Joseph couldn’t see his face very well because of the hood from his cloak darkening his face.

‘Jodie didn’t make it, she died giving birth to Johnathan.’ Joseph replied.

Joseph then gave the baby to the hooded figure.

‘He looks absolute, I feel sorry for the loss of Jodie.’ The figure said.

The figure made a glowing blue cross-like symbol at the baby’s forehead using his index finger on his left glowing hand. The cross then suddenly disappeared. The figure stood up from the couch and lifted up the baby above.

‘Gods, please make this soul worthy of yours!’ The figure said out loud.

Thunder then struck outside the house soon after. Two figures, wearing the same cloak, approached with a cauldron filled with water and a tray of small glass bottles with substances in different colour. A figure took a glass bottle with sparkling purple substance, opened it, and poured all of it into the cauldron. The cauldron starts to bubble and the water starts to glow pink. Joseph was watching the entire thing happening, he was confused of what are they doing to the newly born Johnathan. Another figure starts to stir it with a large stick for a minute. After they are done with the cauldron, the figure with baby Johnathan proceeds to dunk it and take out the baby into the cauldron several times. After that it done. The two figures then leave Joseph’s home with the tray and the cauldron. The figure then looks onto the baby who is then covered in blankets.

‘Good luck, Johnathan. We may expect great things from you when you turn into an adult.’ The raspy voiced figure said.

The figure then leaves Joseph’s house and Joseph then closes the front door.

‘What was that? What did he do?’ Joseph thought to himself.

Joseph then looks back at the baby Johnathan and spots a mark carved onto it’s left hand, his feeling was a mix with shock and fear.

‘What is this mark on his hand?’ Joseph thought to himself.

It’s now July 21st 1011, Jonathan become ten years old and at his school he celebrated his tenth birthday. His school looked like it has been built at the old times, no, at the industrial times. Suddenly, a student and a friend of his named Oliver Pines showed up. He wore glasses and had brown hair.

‘Hey Jonathan! Follow me!’ Oliver said.

‘Okay Oliver.’ Jonathan said.

Oliver then leaded Jonathan to the principal’s office.

‘Why are you leading me to the principal?’ Jonathan asked. ‘Have I done something wrong or does he want to speak to me?’

‘You’ll see.’ Oliver responded with a chuckle.

Jonathan was nervous about what the school principal wants for him, he opened the door to the principal’s office and a bucket of water unexpectedly fell and soaked Jonathan.

‘Ahahahaha! You got pranked!’ Oliver laughed.

‘Really Oliver? Really?’ Jonathan said. ‘You made me came here for some sort of sick joke?’

Luckily for Jonathan the principal arrived as soon as possible and witnesses Oliver laughing at Jonathan. Clark was his name.

‘What is going on here?’ Principal Clark said.

‘Oliver just lead me to your office and soaked me in water.’ Jonathan replied.

‘What? No n-n-n-n-n-n-no!’ Oliver said.

‘Oliver Pines, you soaked water on Jonathan. That is totally unacceptable! You are expelled for five days. Get out of this school.’ Principal Clark said.

‘But Principal-’ Oliver tried to say but was cut off.

‘NOW!!!’ Principal Clark shouted.

Oliver then ran away from him after he shouted at him and expelled him. Principal Clark then looked at Johnathan.

‘And Johnathan, you’re dismissed from school as of today. Go to your home and make sure that you get changed.’ Principal Clark said.

He was a nice guy to Johnathan. After hearing that he is dismissed from school today, Johnathan didn’t feel like he is excited about going out of school, he just doesn’t mind about it.

‘Yes, Principal Clark.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan left the office to see Yuriko, a white long haired girl, another friend of his.

‘What happened to you, JoJo?’ Yuriko asked.

“JoJo” was a nickname Yuriko gave to Johnathan since they first met, maybe because of the fact that both of his first and surname starts with ‘Jo’. She gave that nickname because it’s easier for her to say his name.

‘Oliver...He pranked on me’ Johnathan said.

Yuriko then sighed.

‘That cheeky boy. What did the principal say to you?’ Yuriko said.

‘He said that I am dismissed from school for today.’ Johnathan said.

‘Oh, you get to leave school early. Anyway’s, happy birthday to you and bye.’ Yuriko said.

‘Bye.’ Johnathan said.

Yuriko then waved at Johnathan who he back as he leaves his school to go back to his house.

After returning to home Joseph was horrified by Jonathan’s clothes being soaked with water.

‘My god, Son, who did this to you?’ Joseph asked.

‘Well, Oliver had soaked me with water.’ Jonathan responded.

‘That naughty Oliver. Go upstairs and change your clothes and throw the soaked clothes at the washing machine.’ Joseph ordered.

‘Yes dad!’ Jonathan responded.
Jonathan then changes his clothes at upstairs and throws the soaked clothes at the washing machine.

It is now August 8th 1020. Technology for the humans had advanced a little. Automobiles are now being mass produced, the city of Blackheart expanded for a little, factories were made and the living qualities for the humans have improved. In the other side, Jonathan had graduated on Engineering allowing him to build more inventions and buildings such as skyscrapers than ponies have currently. He wanted to become and engineer because he wanted to help Magni to grow and advance, and also for another reason, the job had good pay than any other jobs the city had. In approximately eight months Jonathan was an excellent engineer, praised by many of his colleagues and friends. But in one of the constructions in a building which is an office building he accidentally stepped into a nail due to the wood planks in the scaffolding Johnathan was walking on having exposed nails from below causing his foot to have a hole through. Jonathan then screamed in pain, catching the attention of a worker near him.

‘Jonathan? What’s wrong?’ A worker asked.

‘I stepped on a nail, I think I have a hole in my foot.’ Jonathan responded.

‘Oh my god, Let’s get you to the hospital.’ the worker said.
The worker holds Jonathan and they both got down to the ground by the lift in the scaffolding. The worker then took his cellphone out and dialled the Medical Services.

‘Hello, I am Alan Davidson and I need an ambulance for a friend of mine. He stepped on a nail. I am in the construction site for the Illustrata office building. Okay, bye.’ The worker said to his cellphone.

‘Hang on, Johnathan. The ambulance is coming.’ The worker said.

For the next five minutes, the ambulance have arrived and picked up Johnathan to a nearby hospital.

Two days have past and Johnathan is currently staying in Hospital. A door to the room he was in opened, it was Joseph.

‘Hello Johnathan.’ Joseph said.

‘Hello dad.’ Johnathan said back.

‘What happened to your foot?’ Joseph asked.

‘I stepped on a nail.’ Jonathan responded.

‘Oh, right. That’s painful, isn’t it?’ Joseph said.

‘Yeah it is painful.’ Jonathan said.

‘Well, I hope you get recovered soon. How did it happen?’ Joseph said.

‘There was a nail from the planks I was walking in the scaffolding while I am doing my job.’ Jonathan said.

Joseph then sighed.

‘Those clumsy people in the business. I will complain to them after you’re finished.’ Joseph said. ‘I will be waiting for you, Johnathan.’

Joseph pats Johnathan’s dark hair and leaves the room. Two weeks later, Jonathan has eventually recovered and was able to get back to his job as a engineer but he may have to use a cane to head to work. After Johnathan was recovered, Joseph filed a complaint to the engineering business Johnathan was in for his injury. The manager then apologised to Joseph and replaced the wood planks with metal. Johnathan continues to work as if nothing has happened.

The day is now August 15th 1020, Jonathan is in his room reading a book when suddenly a loud banging noise came from the front door of the house.

‘Who is it?’ Jonathan said.

Jonathan then looks through the hole in his door and then sees a mysterious, creepy, cloaked person standing on his door.

‘What does he want?’ Jonathan thought to himself.

Jonathan then opens the door to answer the cloaked person but right after Jonathan opened the door, the person suddenly disappeared and only left an old looking paper with writings in it. Johnathan picks up and the paper read:

Come to a cave in the West of Blackheart. We need to talk to you. It’s Important.

Jonathan then rushes upstairs to get his jacket and shoes.

‘Jonathan, who was that in the front door and where are you going?’ Joseph asked.

‘A mysterious cloaked person showed up and he left me a paper saying that they wanted to talk to me. They say that it is important.’ Jonathan responded.
Joseph then froze for a moment. A mysterious cloaked person, he remembers the time where Johnathan was born and the persons with the cloaks doing something to him.

‘Dad? Is something wrong?’ Johnathan said.

‘Oh, sorry. Just please don’t get lost!’ Joseph said.

‘I will not.’ Jonathan said.

Jonathan dresses up and went outside then closes his house door. Jonathan goes to the edge of West Blackheart and finds a cave. Johnathan begins to think about his father and how he reacted when he heard about the cloaked person, he starts to think that his dad may have some ties with the cloaked man or maybe something is not right with him.

Jonathan approaches to the cave and finds people of cloaked persons sitting with a circular desk and floating rocks that have glowing writings in it.

‘Hello?’ Jonathan greeted.

‘Oh, hello Jonathan. I am Legenda, the leader of this group,’ the person named Legenda said. ‘And I know why you came here. But you must understand.’

‘What “understand”?’ Jonathan said.

‘In here, according to the prophecy by the Gods, we think that you the one that will conquer Equestria and restore the freedom from us.’ Legenda said.

‘Are you serious about it? I don’t think this is true.’ Jonathan asked.

‘We are serious about it! It will happen in some time! May I explain to you what happened long time ago?’ Legenda described.

‘Yes, Legenda.’ Jonathan said.

‘Right, It started off since the beginning of time. Us, humans, were created first before the ponies have appeared out of nowhere. We don’t know where they have came from but we we were able to trust the ponies for years, they created the nation of Equestria and while we created the nation of Magni. But then, they now think that we are a threat to their society which caused ponies to attack us because of one of the savages from our race had attacked a pony, we both got angry by this and thus a war broke out. But because of them having magical powers, they were able to defeat us and seal us off from Equestria in a barrier south of Blackheart. Thus we were hidden from the ponies’ view and we had to continue our society and civilisation without the ponies and on our own.’ Legenda said.

Johnathan was shocked to hear all of this. Humans created since the beginning, ponies appearing from nowhere, a war and his people hidden away from them. How could he have not known of this? Does every human living in Magni know about their past?

‘Those ponies...’ Jonathan said.

‘Aye, Right, according to what we have heard from the gods, we predict that you will be the one who’s taking revenge on the ponies and release us free.’ Legenda said.

‘How?’ Jonathan asked.

‘You see that sword right there. The sword was forged by the gods and was given to the king of Blackheart when humans and ponies were at war. Mannulus Vastator, the name the king had given to the sword. After the king was killed by Princess Celestia, his body was washed away in a river including the sword and we found both the body and the sword, we placed the king’s body inside a sarcophagus deep into this cave and the sword in here, the round table. The power the gods have placed inside of it can destroy the barrier that is keeping us away from the ponies.’ Legenda said. ‘By the mark I see on your right hand, you are, in fact, the chosen one.’

The long ancient sword resembled to that of a long sword but had patterns all around the guard and is stuck at the centre of a round table where the ‘members’ sit in front and it can be pulled only by the chosen one, Jonathan was the chosen one according to the group of followers for the gods. Johnathan looked at the mark on his hand, the mark looked it it was tanned.

‘I will think about pulling out this sword later.’ Jonathan said.

‘Right, come back if you want to reveal your destiny.’ Legenda said.

‘Oh and before I leave, can I tell you this,’ Johnathan said. ‘does anyone know about the war.’

‘Some of the humans do and some of the humans don’t.’ Legenda said.

After that, Johnathan leaves the cave to his home

Jonathan is now back at his house and opens the front door, Joseph was standing in front of him.

‘What took you so long?’ Joseph asked.

‘I came to a cave where the hooded person lives and there is like a cult here.’ Jonathan responded. ‘I had spoken to the cult leader who he says that I will destroy the ponies because of what they have did to us.’

‘Yeah those damn ponies.’ Joseph said.

Johnathan was surprised to hear that his father knows about the past.

‘Also there was this sword stuck on something they call it “The Circle” and the leader says that the sword can destroy the barrier.’ Jonathan said.

‘Interesting. Why didn’t you pulled out the sword?’ Joseph asked.

‘I’ll think about the sword later.’ Jonathan replied.

‘Okay, Jonathan, I was worried that you were lost. Go to your room now.’ Joseph said.

‘OK, Dad.’ Jonathan said.

‘Wait,’ Joseph said. ‘about those people with cloaks.’

‘Yeah, what about them, Dad?’ Johnathan said.

‘Well, you see. I have actually meet the cloaked people.’ Joseph said.

‘You have?’ Johnathan surprisingly said.

‘I have meet them when you were just born. They did something to you like putting you into a cauldron or something else. They said that they are going to expect ‘great things’ from you. I had no idea what they meant.’ Joseph said.

Johnathan has this thought back then when he was going to the cave that his father could have ties with the cloaked people, he was right. His father had meet those people.

‘Dad. I understand that you have meet them. Why couldn’t you have told me about it?’ Jonathan said.

‘Because I was afraid that if I told you about them, you would be shocked about the truth and believe that we are not living in a real world but a world that is separate from the main world.’ Joseph said.

After saying his words to Johnathan as to why he didn’t he told him about the past, Johnathan begins to hug his father. It’s his way to telling him that he forgives him.

‘Dad, I know how you feel about it. I will forgive you for this.’ Johnathan said.

‘Thank you, my boy. Now, could you go to your room now.’ Joseph said.

‘Yes Dad.’ Johnathan said.

Jonathan stopped hugging his father and goes to his room. His room looked tidy and fairly large with his room having a desk, a bookshelf, a bed, a lamp, a boxy looking computer, an alarm clock, a briefcase, a couple of rolled up blueprints lying near the briefcase, a chair for his desk and a couple of drawers. He looked at the window from his room, it is dark. The lights from the city have light up. Johnathan lies down on his bed, lots of questions where popping up on his head. Who was this “Legenda” person? And why is he there? Johnathan then closes his eyes, going to sleep.

The Beginning

Eight years have passed, the date is May 6th 1028. Joseph founded a company with Jonathan called Johnson Mining Inc. stationed at the east of Blackheart. In one single month Johnson Mining Inc had almost 200 employees. The gold, diamonds and crystals were then sold to jewellery shops for money. Jonathan and Joseph arrives at the factory on a old looking sedan car and got out of the car. Johnathan took his cane out and jerked his sunglasses off before placing them into his cream coloured trench coat.

‘Welcome to Johnson Mining Incorporate. A mining company that searches for rare elements. Those boys are hard working lads.’ Joseph described.

‘Technology seems to be going well as of this year, hasn’t it?’ Jonathan said.

‘View this.’ Joseph said.

Joseph gave Johnathan a newspaper. The Daily Times the newspaper’s masthead said. Johnathan read through the newspaper’s front page.

BLACKHEART EXPANDING AT A LARGER RATE

With the rise of new inventions such as the automobile, firearms, planes and nuclear power. Blackheart is now being expanded as it has been never seen before. Unemployment rates have been dropped drastically. The government have stated that they’re working on their plans for further improving the lives of the people in Magni.

Blackheart is not the only city Magni has, there are mostly small towns. Blackheart was perhaps the only large city in the whole of Magni.

‘That’s unbelievable. Dad, do you think that if our technology advances even futher that we been defeat the ponies?’ Johnathan said.

‘I hope so.’ Joseph said.

‘Anyways, what plans do you have?’ Jonathan asked.

‘I have a plan were we are excavating a cave at the south east of Blackheart.’ Joseph responded.

‘Right.’ Jonathan said.

Joseph then views the people mining in the outskirts of Blackheart to Johnathan.

‘How does it look? Johnathan?’ Joseph asked.

‘Looks like their doing a hard job. It’s a good job and business you made there.’ Johnathan replied.

‘Thank you. I am planning another mining mission tomorrow.’ Joseph said.

‘Really? Where is it going to be at?’ Jonathan said.

‘In the southeast.’ Joseph said.

Suddenly, a miner came out rushing out of a mined cave interrupting the Johnsons’ conversation.

‘MANAGER! MANAGER!’ The miner shouted out loud.

‘What’s going on?!’ Joseph said.

‘There’s something you need to see!’ The miner said.

Joseph and Johnathan began running inside the cave to see a load of blue glowing crystals.

‘What’s this?!’ Johnathan said pointing his cane at the crystals.

‘They’re crystals that were never seen before. Amazing isn’t it?’ A miner said.

The miners were too busy glaring at the crystals that were stuck at the rocks in the cave.

‘What do you think of those, dad?’ Johnathan said.

‘They’re beautiful,’ Joseph said. ‘someone pass me a shard of it.’

A miner then broke a shard of the crystal and holds it for Joseph but Johnathan puts his cane onto Joseph’s arm before he can touch the crystal.

‘Johnathan, what is it?’ Joseph said.

‘What if they’re dangerous to be held? What if it may contain some dangerous elements inside of it?’ Johnathan said.

‘You’re right, let’s take it to one of the scientists in Blackheart at have it examined.’ Joseph said.

‘And also, you all, continue mining.’ Jonathan said to the miners.

The miners then continue to mine the cave after Johnathan ordered them to do so. Johnathan and Joseph run to their sedan car to drive to the Science Institute of Blackheart to check on the crystal to see if it’s dangerous or not.

Johnathan and Joseph have arrived to the Science Institution and went up to a scientist.

‘Is there something you need?’ The scientist asked.

‘We would like you to examine this piece of crystals we found.’ Joseph responded.

‘That crystal? Why do you need them to be examined and where did you find them?’ The scientist said.

‘We found those in a cave, we run a mining company. We came here for you because we need to know if it is dangerous to be carried or not.’ Jonathan replied.

‘Right, it will take a moment to examine the crystals. I would mind you to wait for couple of minutes,’ The scientist said. ‘by the way. What are you names?’

‘Johnathan Johnson.’ Johnathan said.

‘Joseph Johnson.’ Joseph said.

‘Right. Have a seat just over here.’ The scientist said.

Johnathan and Johnson then took a seat onto the chairs that were available while the scientist is examining the crystal.
‘What do you they are going to find?’ Joseph said.

‘I don’t know.’ Johnathan said.

After five minutes, the scientist came back with a clipboard.

‘The results for the crystal is out.’ The scientist said.

‘What are the results?’ Joseph said.

‘Well, we found a mixture of two elements, Uranium and Plutonium, or Uradium Plutochloride we should call it,’ The scientist said. ‘The two elements were used for nuclear power, maybe these crystal should be used as another energy source.’

‘What do you think you can call this and what symbol should it be?’ Jonathan said.

‘I think we would call them “Krystals”, the symbol would be “Ky”, the atomic number would be 186, and the atomic mass would be 1.025.’ The scientist said.

‘This would be great.’ Joseph replied.

‘Good. It’s nice to see you two finding this new element. Have a nice day!’ The scientist said.

‘Bye!’ Joseph said.

A month had passed. The news about the discovery of Krystal have spread like wildfire. People began using Krystal to create more and more inventions such as mobile devices, modern fashioned cars, new clothing, new electronics and more. Thus technology is advanced even further. Johnathan left the mining company and founded the political party known as Magni Imperium (Or M.I. for short). He posted propaganda flyers onto the streets and advertised it onto the televisions in all of Magni promising order, freedom and revenge on the ponies. Due to their anti-pony agenda and ideologies, Magni Imperium became extremely popular for people around Blackheart, reaching up to three thousand members. Johnathan organised meetings and speeches daily to the members. There was in election being made in Magni, the candidates being Andrew Steiner, the current leader of Magni and representing the Republic Party of Magni, Alice Abernathy, a candidate representing the Democratic Party of Magni, and finally Johnathan Johnson, the leader of the Magni Imperium political party. A month had passed and in July 18th 1028, the election took place. Magni Imperium won the election with an outstanding 74.2% votes, 21.3% votes for the DPM, and 4.5% votes for the RPM. M.I. Established a socialist government run by dictatorship, Magni Imperium is the only party that population is allowed to vote, elections are only made when the leader resigns, rich people had to pay taxes for the workers, and people who go against the new government are either imprisoned or executed. Soon after they gained power over the country, Magni Imperium began hunting down party members of both the Republican party and the Democratic party, This was due to that fact that Johnathan, the founder himself, views the two parties as a threat to his rule and that some day, they might turn against his new government. Three weeks after they rose to power, they have captured the previous leader of Magni, Andrew Steiner, and uncovered secrets from Steiner as to how he got into power through torture and interrogation. It was revealed that he got into power by assassinating high ranking officials and anyone who he deems as a threat to become the leader. They later set up a live broadcast of Steiner confessing to his crimes through televisions on the resident’s houses and the cities. After they stopped broadcasting his confession, he was found guilty of treason and they later made a live execution of Steiner taking place at the walls of the Center region by hanging him publicly through many citizens who where there to see the execution. When the execution was taking place, citizens where seen throwing rocks and stones to Steiner and was throwing insults such as calling him a “Traitor” and “Liar” for his crimes of killing high ranking officials to get in place as leader. The city of Blackheart was split into four sectors: The Center, for the government facilities, army camps, prison camps and secret laboratories. Located at the northernmost of Blackheart. Downtown, an urban place where there is high population density and most infrastructures of built environment. Suburb, a residential area built for housing the workers or citizens. And the Industrial Park, where it’s purpose is industrial development. A next day after the election took place, a construction took place for a colossal building located at the Northern most of Blackheart that resembles a castle on the bottom half and a tower on the upper half. After six months of building it, the building was complete, the outside looking like it’s built of either concrete or stone. Johnathan and Joseph then moved into the building since the building has an apartment for the Johnsons, located at the top levels of the building. The Johnsons gave the name “Palatium” for the building. Johnathan was made leader of all of Magni.

In the next month, the date was January 20th 1029. Jonathan came back to the cave where the cult lived to pull the sword out from the stone.

‘Welcome back Jonathan! Are you ready to pull out the sword?’ Legenda said.

‘Yes, I am ready to pull the sword out.’ Jonathan said.

‘Well then, do it,’ Legenda said. ‘I want to see the light come out within you!’

‘Okay. Here it comes!’ Jonathan said.

Jonathan stepped onto the round table and got a grip onto the sword. His mark on his hand glowed bright purple after he got the grip. He then heard whispers from the cult members.

‘My god, he’s going to do it.’

‘He’s really doing it.’

‘God have mercy on us.’

Johnathan started to pull it out, causing large purple electrical sparks to come out. After that, a purple substance started to consume his hands to reach into his entire body and a beam of bright purple light shot out into the sky, bursting a hole into the cave’s ceiling. The cult members had to shield their eyes from the bright light, Legenda was amazed by the event as he stared at Johnathan who is pulling the sword as hard as he can. Jonathan screamed loudly in agony from pulling the sword. The purple substance then consumed his entire body. Jonathan successfully pulled out the sword causing a bright light again for a slit second and for him to fall off the round table from all the strength he used to pull the sword out. The lightning sparks, the purple substance and beacon of light then disappeared. Jonathan got up grabbing his own hand since the mark on his hand is burning intensively while still glowing purple, after five seconds the mark stopped burning and glowing, going back into it’s tanned outline.

‘He did it, my friends, he really did it. He really is the Chosen One.’ Legenda said.

Johnathan looked at the sword which is in the ground after Johnathan pulled it out, it glowed these runes in purple:

After a brief moment, the runes disappeared.

‘What do those letters say on the sword?’ Johnathan said.

‘Well, the runes translate to “Sit quo ferrum vinceret inimicos eius” or “May this blade vanquish its enemies”,’ Legenda said. ‘It was constructed using a form of metal used by the Gods and they enchanted it with this rune specifically against the ponies for the king.’

‘A form of metal used by the gods, does this mean the sword is indestructible or not?’ Johnathan said.

‘It was speculated to be highly durable.’ Legenda said.

Johnathan grabbed the sword and viewed it side by side.

‘Also, we have this.’ Legenda said.

A cult member then gave Johnathan a black scabbard made for the sword. Johnathan puts the sword into the scabbard and puts the belt on.

‘Those lights and sparks, do I have any abilities?’ Johnathan said.

‘Yes, the user of the sword grants numerous abilities from it. I heard that the king who used the sword had shot out a beam of energy at some pony forces.’ Legenda said.

‘I need to discover what my abilities are. I need to leave.’ Johnathan said.

‘Have a great time, chosen one.’ Legenda said.

Johnathan then left the cave, never to see them again. Johnathan finds an old unused dummy somewhere at an alley in the streets of the Downtown sector, Blackheart has a great river over it’s centre, splitting the Downtown sector into two. There are also rivers that lead to the Center sector but it’s guarded by Magni Imperium boats, gates and soldiers. After Johnathan finds the dummy, he thought of using it for testing his magical abilities. So he took the dummy, went outside of Blackheart, and placed it. Johnathan fired an purple energy ball at it, causing the dummy to explode but left unscathed. Johnathan then fired a beam of purple energy at it, jumped very high behind it before delivering slashes to the dummy, lifting it with telekinesis, blowing fire from his hand. The dummy was near from being obliterated. Johnathan noticed that the mark on his hand and the sword’s runes would light up purple when he used his abilities. Johnathan was able to create a purple shield over him and jump higher.

‘That would do.’ Johnathan said.

In the next day, millions of people began to converge at the south of Magni, rather the borders between Magni and Equestria. People began to look at a man with black hair carrying a sword and wore black clothing such as black trench coat with a belt over it, black leather fingerless gauntlets, black trousers and black leather boots. The man was Johnathan himself, with his blue eyes looked at the people watching him with the sword on his hands. Johnathan gave this speech to his people:

‘Today, this is the day that we will be free from this imprisonment, this is the day that we will restore order and take revenge on what they did to us back then. Today is the day that we will rise up!’

The people then cheered after he gave his speech and looked towards the barrier. The barrier, as what he can see, was a field of distortion reflecting the crumbling environment that is Magni. Johnathan raised his sword and aimed it towards the barrier before shouting these words.

‘FOR MAGNI!!!’

Johnathan’s sword then hit the barrier as it’s runes and the mark on Johnathan’s hand light up purple. A bright light had exploded from the barrier for moments. After the light was faded away, a glimpse of blue sky, green grass and a view of Mount Everhoof appeared. People were in shock and awe from the view. Johnathan was amazed from the chance he gets to get a glimpse of the land of Equestria.

‘Beautiful.’ Johnathan muttered.

Johnathan looked at the lands of Magni and it started to grow grass and daises began growing. Johnathan pulled a largest daisy he could ever find and looked at it with amusement. The environment as it was before was growing nicely. Johnathan looked back at his people.

‘We’ve did it, the barrier is destroyed. Now let the second war begin.’ Johnathan said.

The people of Magni then cheered furiously as Johnathan announced that the second iteration of the Pony-Human War is now beginning.

Magni Imperium started to form an army of itself, gaining thousands and thousands of new recruits everyday. It seems that the people are excited to go back to fight against the ponies again or were veterans from the first war. The gunsmiths then manufactured assault rifles made for the soldiers. The lines for recruitment stations were massive for the fact that many waited hours and hours for their recruitment. Meanwhile, Magni Imperium began holding Hate Ceremonies, where every month, people would gather through a large screen that was showing the faces of Princess Celestia and Princess Luna and the people would throw out insults to them for three minutes. After three minutes, the citizens would begin to sing Magni Imperium’s national anthem to show their support for the party.

Let the Second Pony-Human War begin.

Discovery

Meanwhile in Equestria, Twilight Sparkle, Spike, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Applejack and Rarity were sitting around the Cutie Map in the Friendship Castle in Ponyville, their home town. Suddenly, a red outline was marked onto the northern Equestria, just behind Mount Everhoof.

‘Um. Twilight, do you see this?’ Spike said.

Twilight looked onto the red marked area on the map.

‘What is that? What does this supposed to mean?’ Twilight said.

‘I have no idea,’ Fluttershy said shyly, ‘it’s behind the mountain, how can there be an issue.’

‘I guess that some ponies are doing something bad here.’ Rainbow Dash said.

‘I ain’t have a clue what is doing down there.’ Applejack said.

‘Maybe somepony is having a party in here.’ Pinkie Pie said.

‘Obviously it should be cold down there, it’s must be some kind of error with this map or something.’ Rarity said.

The Mane 6 was left wondering of what the red outline means.

‘Should we contact Celestia about this?’ Spike said.

‘I think so. Everypony, we’ll be going to see Celestia.’ Twilight said.

The Mane 6 then got off their seats, exited the Friendship Castle and went on to a journey to Canterlot to see Celestia about the issue with the Cutie Map. Spike was left in the castle to look after it.

The Mane 6 were able to arrive to Canterlot a few hours later. They rushed into the throne room where Celestia is currently in.

‘Princess Celestia, we have something to tell you!’ Twilight said.

‘What is it, Twilight?’ Celestia said.

‘There’s something wrong with the Cutie Map,’ Twilight said before adding, ‘the map started to show a red outline to the north, behind Mount Everhoof. Is this normal for the map?’

After Twilight Sparkle told her about the issue, Images of a man. A man wielding a sword, a crown and a brown fur coat, killing off the ponies with his human soldiers battling against the pony soldiers. It was chaos, the entire castle of Canterlot was burning with fire and huge messes of rubble. The man then can towards Celestia and raised his left arm to her, before a purple bright light followed. Celestia then snapped out of the images she’s seen, gasping in shock before stepping a few feet backwards. Twilight grew concerned about her as Celestia was staring at her blankly while she was flashed with those images.

‘Is there something wrong, Celestia?’ Twilight asked.

‘Twilight, there was something that I forgot to mention about.’ Celestia said.

‘What was it?’ Twilight said.

‘It’s that...the ponies are not the only intelligent life that is still out there today, there are referred to as “humans”. They have a different belief than ours, they say that they were created first before us by what they call the “Gods” and the Sun, Moon and universe were created by them. In my opinion, I dismiss their claims as being false. They have their own nation, they called it “Magni”. Long time ago, us and the humans went to war because the humans wouldn’t stop killing our ponies for our ‘meat’ as they call it, I tried to tell them to stop but it continued. Of course we ended up victorious and we sealed the humans off of Equestria by creating a barrier from our magic, hiding them from plain sight to the world.’ Celestia said.

‘And what does that do with the map, could it mean something?’ Twilight said.

‘It could mean that something is going on there,’ Celestia said, ‘All of you need to go to the north of Equestria. If all of you find something down there, report it to me. I have a feeling that they might come back.’

Twilight turned her head towards her gang.

‘Should we do this or not?’ Twilight asked.

The five ponies began nodding each other. They were even more curious, Humans? There are humans in Equestria? the ponies thought to themselves.

‘Yes, I think we should do this.’ Rainbow Dash said punching both of her hooves together while hovering their her wings flapping.

Twilight then turned her head back to Celestia.

‘We’re ready, Princess Celestia.’ Twilight said.

‘Great, I hope you have some great results.’ Celestia said.

The Mane 6 then left the throne room and are onto the stairs going downwards.

‘Humans? I didn’t know there were more races than ponies.’ Rarity said.

‘Me neither.’ Applejack said.

‘I wonder if Humans care about animals...’ Fluttershy said.

‘Wait, what if humans are against us? What if they have some kind of defence against us?’ Rainbow Dash said.

Rainbow Dash’s words caught the attention of Twilight.

‘Great idea, Rainbow Dash. If they’re against us, how can we go through their defences?’ Twilight said.

‘Do you have a plan for that?’ Rarity said.

‘I have a plan, we need to got a look of it far away from us so that they can’t see us.’ Twilight said.

‘Do you think they couldn’t see us far away, and how do we get a closer look at it?’ Rainbow Dash said.

‘I will use my telescope to get a closer look.’ Twilight said.

Twilight and the rest of the gang then reached down the stairs and went to go back to the Friendship Castle to get prepared to go to the Northern Equestria.

The Mane 6 had came back to Friendship Castle, Spike was waiting at the front door.

‘Did you get anything, Twilight?’ Spike said.

‘Spike, we’re going to the Northern parts of Equestria.’ Twilight said.

‘For what?’ Spike said.

‘We’re not the only ones that live beyond the lands of Equestria.’ Twilight said.

‘What do you mean?’ Spike said confusingly.

‘There is a new race in Equestria, they’re called humans.’ Twilight said before rushing off to go to her room.

‘What are the “humans”?’ Spike said.

‘I’ll explain when we I get more information on them.’ Twilight said.

Twilight and the rest then get to their rooms to pack their things up in their backpacks, Twilight packed her diary to record about the humans or something other than them, food, water, telescope and other things. After Twilight was done packing her things. She got out of the room to find the gang already packed up.

‘We are ready, Twilight.’ Rarity said.

‘Alright everpony. We will use the Friendship Express to go to the Crystal Empire, go around Mount Everhoof and there...we’ll see what’s there.’ Twilight said. ‘Everypony, got it?’

‘Got it.’ Everypony said.

‘Then let’s go!” Twilight said.

The Mane 6 then leave Friendship Castle to the Friendship Express in the Train Station. Once they have placed their luggage in the train, the Friendship Express started and went onto it’s journey to the Crystal Empire.

After an hour, the Friendship Express have arrived at the Crystal Empire, the Mane 6 then have to walk for three hours around Mount Everhoof and occasionally taking breaks during the walk. After those three hours of walking, they reached behind Mount Everhoof and what they saw was shocking, a large metropolis city guarded by a large stone wall. Overlooking the city was a large building in the back resembling both a castle and a tower. There were a lot of lights in the city, as the sky is getting darker. There were factories in the right side of the ponies’ view and there are suburban houses in the right of the ponies’ view, also guarded by a wall connecting to the factories and the city. They also see a large river in the city. The landscape of the land was grassy and having mountains behind the city. They look to the right to see the Celestial Sea going more right.

‘So, this is Magni. A nation run by humans.’ Rainbow Dash said.

‘Alright everypony, don’t mess around, don’t shout or scream, and no flying around while I look at the city.’ Twilight said.

Twilight Sparkle got her backpack off from her back and opened it to take out the binoculars by using her levitation magic. She looks through the binoculars to see three gates that serve as checkpoints to enter the city. They were guarded by two humans wearing grey greatcoats with black shoulder boards with a red outline, black leather belt, black gloves, black trousers and boots, steel helmets, a black mask with it’s two rectangular eyes glowing red and two rectangular parts on their cheeks. The rectangular parts are filters, making the mask act like a respirator. The guards seem to carry a metal or steel object that fires bullets, they are weapons that humans call a “firearm” or “gun”, the weapon the guards are carrying is called a “assault rifle” or “machine gun”. The gates also seemed to have spotlights to illuminate the individual who is crossing through the gate at night. The gates are also guarded by two cannons and two machine gun turrets that move by it’s own. There are these towers on the walls with humans that have the same greatcoat, black belt, black gloves, black trousers and boots. But it was not wearing the mask and helmet, they have grey peaked caps, their black shoulder boards have a white outline and a device on his left ear to communicate with someone and is wearing a red armband on his left arm, the towers also have another same guard and they have binoculars and spotlights. There is also a large flag above the gate and two poles holding the same flags, the flag had a black background, three olive horizontal stripes on the middle, in the centre of the flag is a red eagle on top of a red oak wreath with a symbol in the wreath’s centre, the symbol has two straight lines going through curved bars.

Twilight Sparkle also sees that the wall are also guarded by a two moving object with wheels and lights on the front that has no door but a grey metal wire frame around it and a motor on the back. That is what they’re called “buggies” and those kind of objects known as “vehicles”. The buggies seemed to be driven by two humans wearing black shirts, black trousers and black boots, one is driving the buggy and one is carrying a form of firearm called a “submachine gun” or “SMG” for short, the gun the human was carrying had it’s magazine at the back instead of the front and had a foldable fore grip. The driver is driving it on the right side of the vehicle. The buggies seem to go around the walls from side to side.

Twilight then tries to look through the walls to see a street that is twenty blocks towards the city and ten blocks to the suburban and factory walls, the walls of the archaic buildings in the street (”Vetus Street” as it’s officially named by Magni Imperium but some citizens refer to it as “Old Blackheart”) have those posters with negative views on ponies such as one that has Celestia’s face in it with the text “THIS IS THE ENEMY” and the other one depicting a face of a pony skeleton with the caption “DEATH TO EQUESTRIA”. There are these posters that is made to recruit soldiers for the army. There are these poles that had fours speakers on the top and four cameras and a four faced square that reads out “FOR YOUR PROTECTION”. Twilight then looked at the city. Medium and large sized building filled both sides of the river, there were even bridges being made onto the large buildings for humans to cross.

‘Twilight, can we go into that place?’ Fluttershy said.

‘Fluttershy, are you serious? We can’t go there, there are humans here. They might kill us or something.” Rainbow Dash said.

‘Yeah, we came here to look what was going on here, not going inside here.’ Twilight said.

‘Oh, I’m sorry.’ Fluttershy said softly.

Twilight then pulls out her diary, a bottle of ink and a quill and writes everything she saw on the binoculars including the city, the guards, the posters, the weapons, the defences, the vehicles and the factories. Twilight leaves the book open for the ink to dry and then looks back at the city overview. She begins to imagine living there but since there are humans there, it is impossible for a pony to live there. Ponies could be captured or killed if spotted trying to cross through the gates, the ponies that were captured could be sent to a concentration camp to do force labour or left to die from hunger and thirst.

After five minutes, Twilight sees a bright light coming from a left tower in the wall. She picks up the binoculars using magic and looks through it, she sees the peaked capped human holding and looking though his binoculars and then proceed to grab what looks like a receiver from a phone, the humans starts to talk on the receiver, she sees the human’s mouth moving but could not hear him speak. The human then puts the receiver down and looks at her direction, Twilight then turns to a buggy on the left side of the wall turn and drive to their direction. Twilight think that the human talking through the phone may have spotted her and had sent the buggy after her. The headlamps from the buggy begins to flash onto the ponies as it comes closer to them.

‘Holy Celestia! Is that thing coming for us?” Rarity said in shock.

‘I’m sure they’re here for a party!’ Pinkie Pie excitedly said.

‘Pinkie, it’s no time to be excited. We need to get out of here!’ Twilight said.

Twilight begins to close the diary with the ink that has dried and put the diary, quill, bottle of ink and the binoculars into her backpack. She then puts the backpack on her back and the Mane 6 proceed to jump over a large hill they have been standing at. As they were jumping, the buggy got close enough and drifts to the left side of the buggy, a human with brown hair and the black uniform Twilight had seen them being wearing and carrying the submachine gun comes out of the buggy from the left seat, unfolded his fore grip, clicked his gun and begins to open fire at the ponies. Luckily the bullets got to the ground and the ponies were able to jump over a large hill and roll over. The human then looks over the hill to see the ponies gone. According to protocol, he mustn’t go through the edge of the Equestrian-Magni border as he will be rendered a defect. The brown haired human then approaches back to the buggy. A black haired man then comes out of the right seat of the buggy.

‘Did you get ‘em?’ The black haired man said.

‘No, they got away.’ The brown haired man replied.

‘Damn.’ The black haired man said.

The black haired man then goes to the buggy and takes a radio out from the buggy. The radio is black and had a rectangular shape with curved edges and an antenna on the top right with a screen. When the man pushed and hold a button on the radio, a short static noise was heard.

‘This is Jack Taylor, the ponies have escaped. We fired at them but we didn’t seem to hit them.’ The black haired man said.

‘Rodger that, Taylor. Continue your job as normal, over.’ The person from the radio said.

As the black haired man, named Jack Taylor, puts back his radio onto the buggy. Twilight Sparkle sprung out of the hill flying and fired a laser beam at the buggy, blowing it up. The humans proceeded to drive away from the exploding buggy. The humans then got up, brown haired human then proceeded to aim his gun at Twilight Sparkle but she was able to grab his SMG off from him with her magic and proceeds to hit him on the nose with the stock of the SMG, knocking him out.

‘Daniel!’ Jack shouted.

Twilight then took notice of Jack trying to take his handgun out of his holster and then proceed to hit him in the gut first before hitting on his head with the gun Twilight was using magic on, also knocking him out. Twilight then drops the submachine gun and then hears a voice coming from the radio.

‘What happened here? Answer!’

Twilight then flies over to the ponies who were hiding behind a large rock.

‘They’re gone.’ Twilight said.

‘Shouldn’t it be best if we get outta’ here.’ Applejack said.

‘Yes.’ Twilight said.

The ponies then got out of the rock and then walk out of the human territory. Twilight looked back, the buggy was burning still, Twilight got to the ground and joined in with the others on their way back to Canterlot to speak to Princess Celestia about the situation going on.

A loud knocking sound was heard from the other side, Johnathan closes his hardcover book and puts it back on the large bookshelf. He goes towards the door to see who it is, he opens the sliding front door to see an officer, the great-coated peaked-capped man, holding a black folder. The officer was a commander, as identified by the earpiece on his left ear.

‘Leader, I need to show you something. May I come in?’ Said the officer.

‘Of course.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan lets the officer through his apartment in the Palatium building, the building that looked like a castle and a tower. The living room was quite wide and more across and has red coloured walls with dark red leaf-like patterns and a maroon carpet floors, the door framing was gold. On the side of the front door, there is an oak coat hanger pole hanging his black trench coat and a scabbard belt that is carrying the ancient sword with it, the bottom part of the coat hanger has his two leather fingerless gauntlets. On the middle of the room, there was a large table with holograms in it. At the end of the living room has a large window overlooking the entire city of Blackheart and a large brown mahogany desk. The window shows that it it night time by the dark sky and the lights on the buildings. Johnathan sits at the black chair behind the desk and the officer is now in front of Johnathan.

‘Leader, the Magni Imperium Border Security have spotted a group of six ponies by the Equestrian-Magni border.’ The officer said.

‘Right, what were they doing?’ Johnathan said.

The officer then pulled out a picture of the Mane 6 with Twilight looking through her binoculars.

‘The guard from one of the watchtowers have said that a purple pony was looking at the city through binoculars while the other ponies were talking to each other.’ The officer said.

‘Did you send someone after them?’ Johnathan asked.

‘Yes, we sent one of the buggies guarding the walls after to arrest the ponies.’ The officer replied.

‘Did they capture the ponies?’ Johnathan said.

The officer then sighed in disbelief and then pulled out a picture with the burning buggy and Twilight hovering in front of it with the two humans knocked out.

‘One of the ponies had destroyed the buggy and knocked out all of the crew.’ The officer said.

Johnathan then took the picture and looked at the purple pony with wings.

‘Did you scan the pony?’ Johnathan said.

‘One of the guards on the other watchtower before we took the picture was able to scan the pony, the pony was not any pony but was an “Alicorn”, a rarest type of ponies, and the name she goes by the name of “Twilight Sparkle”.’ The officer said.

Johnathan then places the picture down. Twilight Sparkle, the name he has never heard off. Some say that she is another princess of Equestria while some said that she is a professional unicorn.

‘Does this mean that it means war?’ Johnathan asked.

‘I respect your opinion, my leader. I believe so,’ The officer replied. ‘two races attacking each other.’

‘Is that all you need?’ Johnathan said.

‘Yes, that is all I have to say.’ The officer said.

The officer then picked up the two pictures and put them into the black folder. Johnathan followed him to the front door and opened the sliding door. The officer then proceeded to salute at Johnathan

‘Hail Magni.’ The officer said.

‘Hail Magni.’ Johnathan said back and also saluting to the officer.

The officer then left the apartment followed by Johnathan closing the door. “Hail Magni” was another form of greeting or a goodbye adopted by Magni Imperium. It is supposed to mean that the person saying this is proud to live in Magni, humans are not strictly enforced to use that line but it’s always good to use that line. Johnathan goes to another room at the right side of the living room and grabs a remote from the red sofa before turning the large television on to see if news about the ponies are already there. It turns out there aren’t any news about the ponies. Johnathan then turns the television off and places the remote back at the sofa. Johnathan goes back into the living room and approaches to a large silver box that has a microphone in it. He picks up the microphone and holds it over his mouth. He pushes the orange button that begins to light up and two low pitched beeps then filled the entire building.

‘Attention all generals. Come to the Operations Room by tomorrow in 1 PM. I repeat, come to the Operations Room by tomorrow in 1 PM.’ Johnathan spoke.

His voice filled the entire building and to him, it sounded like it was echoing. Johnathan let go of the button and placed the microphone back in. By tomorrow, it is now the time for an invasion.

Attack

A day had passed and Johnathan was sitting on his black swivel chair with a phone receiver connected to a grey box with buttons on his left ear.

‘Have you got news about the attack on two Border Patrol guards?’ Johnathan said.

‘We have a report about it, Mr Johnson.’ A male voice said from the phone.

‘Right, inform all media outlets to not publish any articles about it.’ Johnathan said.

‘Why?’ The voice said.

‘Because it can lead our citizens into shock.’ Johnathan said.

‘We get that, we will tell all newspaper and media outlets to not publish any articles about the attack by orders of you, leader.’ The voice said, ‘Thank you and Hail Magni.’

‘Hail Magni.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan puts the receiver back with the screen saying “MINISTRY OF INFORMATION” before disappearing. He then looks through news websites through the computer monitor on his brown desk. The computer was wide and thin and the case was inside of the desk, the cables and wires connecting the monitor is going through a hole in the desk and was long enough for the monitor to turn one hundred and eighty degrees. It appears as all the news didn’t cover about the buggy being blown up by a pony. Johnathan turned towards the large window, the skies of Blackheart is clear blue and the sun is shining bright with birds flying and singing. Johnathan then looked back at the holographic computer and his father, an already old looking man, has appeared in front of his desk.

‘Hi father.’ Johnathan spoke.

‘Hello son, how are you doing?’ Joseph said.

‘Doing fine.’ Johnathan said.

‘Right, what was that I heard yesterday, someone was talking to you about some pony.’ Joseph said.

Johnathan then got off from his chair.

‘An officer came to me and told me that a guard from one of the watchtowers in the entrance wall spotted a group of ponies,’ Johnathan added. ‘they sent a buggy down there to arrest them, but one of the ponies destroyed the buggy and knocked out all of it’s crew.’

‘Yes yes. By that screen I see, you’re checking out the news about it.’ Joseph said.

‘There doesn’t seem to be any news about it.’ Johnathan said.

‘How couldn’t there by any news about it?’ Joseph questioned.

‘I told them not the make an article about it,’ Johnathan replied. ‘because it would shock the citizens if we made one article about it.’

‘Censorship,’ Joseph muttered, ‘Right.’

Control of information was one of the traits Magni Imperium had acquired when they took power, The Ministry of Information are capable of creating propaganda and censoring or deleting information. They would remove any information that is deemed against Magni Imperium or any info is considered harmful to the citizens of Magni. Leaks about the secrets of Magni Imperium is a crime against the government and it is punished by a ten year jail sentence if it’s a minor offence or execution if it’s a serious offence, the government would deem the leaks as lies. They also have the ability to create propaganda through posters, speeches and videos on televisions.

Johnathan looked at the clock above the front door to see that the big hand is closer to reaching twelve and the small hand is close to hitting one.

‘Father, I need to go.’ Johnathan said. ‘I have some business to do.’

‘Alright then.’ Joseph said.

Johnathan goes to the silver box and grabs the microphone from it, he pushes hold of the orange button and it lights up. Two low pitched beeps filled the entire building.

‘Attention all generals, please head into the Operations Room in Floor 50. I repeat, please head into the Operations in Floor 50.’ Johnathan spoke through the microphone.

The Palatium building is 180 floors high, 125 floors of the building’s interior and 55 floors for the tower structure. Johnathan lets go of the button and places the microphone back into the box. He then goes towards the oak coat hanger beside the front door. He puts on his two black leather fingerless gauntlets on to his hands and then his black trench coat that reaches up to his ankles. He looks up to his left hand and he clutches his fist to show his mark being lit up purple over his gauntlet, both of his gauntlets reach under the trench coat. He buttons up his trench coat and proceeds to put on his belt filed with ammo pouches and holding the scabbard of the sword over his trench coat, the scabbard of the sword being on his left side. Johnathan then opens the door that sliding up by a red button on the left side, he then looks back to his father.

‘Good bye.’ Johnathan said.

Joseph gives him a wave and Johnathan leaves the apartment, the door closes behind him automatically. The front door is accessed by inserting a small grey key card with a black line on the bottom and taking it out after it scans it, only people who have apartments inside the Palatium have those key cards and only people who work for Magni Imperium have their own apartments or quarters. Johnathan approaches a hallway and then opens a door that slides to the right by pushing a button on the left side to reveal a large room with doorways on each side and two elevator doors. There are two on the left side, two on the front side, two on the right side, and one on the back side leading to the apartment of the Johnsons. His apartment was guarded by two small machine gun turrets mounted to the ground that turn three sixty degrees, a rule for all personnel was to knock at any front doors of apartments, especially for the leader’s apartment.

Johnathan goes up towards the left elevator and pushes a circle silver button that lit up white on the outline, he looks up at the screen with floor numbers and it shows it was on Floor 110 before he called the elevator. He then hears the Voice of Magni speaking throughout the building and the streets of Blackheart opening with “Good Afternoon, Magni.” or “Good Morning” or “Good Evening”, saying today’s date: January 23rd 1029, saying that the temperature is 16 degrees and some news such as reminding people of the next Hate Ceremony and closing or opening of roads and streets. After ten seconds, the elevator doors opened with no one inside. The inside of the elevator was all white. Johnathan goes inside the elevator and pushes the number “50” on the series of buttons leading to different floors, there are one hundred and twenty five buttons leading to the floors G to 125 (G meaning Ground Floor).

After pressing the button to Floor 50, a female voice came up saying “Doors closing.” and the steel doors of the elevator closes. The elevator goes downwards with a screen above the doors showing the numbers going down in white text. He puts his hands on his back until the elevator stopped at Floor 75, Quarters of High Ranking officials, and the female voice said “75th Floor.”, someone is also going on the elevator. The female voice then said “Doors opening.” and the doors then opened to reveal a woman on her twenties carrying a sniper rifle on her back with long jet black hair and blue eyes and wearing glasses, a grey buttoned jacket, white shirt with a red bow tie, a red skirt, a red armband on her left arm, black thigh high stockings and black leather shoes. She was looking onto his blue eyes.

‘Hello Johnathan.’ the woman spoke.

‘Hello Izumi.’ Johnathan said back.

The woman, Izumi, then enters the elevator and Johnathan has his hand near on the buttons.

‘Which floor are you going to?’ Johnathan said.

‘Floor 55, Target Practise.’ Izumi said.

‘Right.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan then pressed the button “55” and the female voice spoke out the same words “Doors closing.”. The elevator doors then closed and went downwards.

‘How was your sniping skills, Izumi?’ Johnathan said.

‘Improving.’ Izumi replied, without looking at Johnathan.

‘When you become skilled, the ponies will fear you.’ Johnathan commented.

Izumi let out a small giggle and a smile from Johnathan’s comment. Izumi was shooting with sniper rifles when she was eighteen, the legal age to own a gun back then. Whenever Johnathan would pass through her house, a farmhouse looking house, he would see her shooting dummies and scarecrows with a sniper rifle. She should shoot the dummies very fast, like a second. To him, she looked like she’s been shooting from a young age. Doesn’t she realise that she would be noticed by anyone? He thought to himself. Johnathan visited her house once and she showed him how skilled she is at using a sniper rifle and her fighting skills which all made Johnathan shocked and surprised in awe. Soon after he took control of Magni through M.I., he sent a letter to Izumi inviting her to be the Commando of the Magni Imperium which she agrees, giving her access to The Center region.

‘By the way, do you have a Krydollar I can borrow?’ Izumi asked.

‘Oh, yes.’ Johnathan replied.

He then pulls out a small nickel coin and flips it, revealing the words “1 KRYDOLLAR” on the other side and the Ompha symbol on another side. Krydollars are the current official currency of Magni. Before Magni Imperium took power, Magni’s currency was similar to Equestria’s currency, Bits, with the money being mostly gold coins, when M.I. Took power, they created banknotes to make carrying money more durable rather than carrying huge loads of coins. The cents for the Krydollars are called Kroins and were usually in form of coins while Krydollars are in banknotes (With exception of 1 Krydollar and 2 Krydollars, which are in form of large coins.). Kroins come in different colours and sizes.

Izumi then holds out a palm of their right hand and Johnathan places the coin onto her palm.

‘Why is that you need a Krydollar for?’ Johnathan said.

‘It’s to get a drink from the dispenser.’ Izumi said.

‘I get it.’ Johnathan said.

The elevator then reached Floor 55 with the female voice saying “55th Floor.” and the doors opened after the female voice said the exact same “Doors opening.” line. Izumi then turns to face Johnathan before saluting to Johnathan with her right hand on her forehead.

‘Hail Magni.’ Izumi said.

‘Hail Magni.’ Johnathan said, saluting back.

Izumi then leaves the elevator and goes towards the right where a glass sign on the ceiling said “FIRING RANGE” in white text with a white arrow pointing to the left. Johnathan then presses the Floor 50 button again and the same voice said “Doors closing.” before the doors of the elevator closes. After five seconds, the elevator reaches Floor 50 and the doors opened with the same exact female voice saying “50th Floor.” and then “Doors opening.”. Johnathan then leaves the elevator to see the glass sign saying “OPERATIONS ROOM” in white text with a white arrow pointing left, he goes to the left side and goes through a door that slid up open automatically when he got close to see the four generals are already there. They’re were not wearing great coats but were wearing grey tunics with a black belt over it, personal working for the M.I. could choose from greatcoats to tunics. Their shoulder boards and collar patches have some kind of pattern on them, this could mean that they’re high ranked.

‘Sorry if I’m late.’ Johnathan said.

‘Right, why is it that you called us here?’ A general with a shaven head spoke.

‘Well, Hans. Today is the big plan.’ Johnathan said.

‘What big plan?’ A general with blonde hair said.

‘The Invasion of Equestria, Fritz.’ Johnathan said.

After Johnathan said the line, the generals and commanders were nodding to each other about it. He then proceeds to approach a large square table and turns it on to reveal the entire map of Equestria on the screen, showing it in full colour. The generals and commanders then gathered around the table.

‘Generals and commanders, we will be capturing Crystal Empire.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan then touches Crystal Empire on the screen and it maximises to show the entire place to the generals.

‘How will we be capturing it?’ A general with silver hair said.

‘I’ll say, Wilson,’ A general with brown hair said, ‘we will form a line of three: the front being the infantry, the middle being the tanks, and the back will be the artillery.’

‘Good choice there, Mark.’ Johnathan said.

‘But there is one problem.’ A general with the shaven head said, minimising the map to the northern Equestria, ‘We could only enter through the east of Mount Everhoof but we can’t go to the west of the mountain.’

‘Well, Thamel. We could just use the helicopters, including ones to carry tanks, artillery, TTVs and Infantry to deploy them over the mountain.’ Johnathan said.

‘And what about this place, Rainbow Falls?’ Mark said.

‘We will take it by force.’ Johnathan said.

‘When we reach Crystal Empire, we have to destroy everything in this place?’ Fritz said.

‘Everything except libraries and places that contain books.’ Johnathan said.

‘Books?’ Fritz said, confused.

‘Some books may provide information about our enemy,’ Johnathan said, ‘everything else that doesn’t provide Intel or just plain fiction by the ponies would have to be destroyed.’

‘I get what you mean, leader.’ Fritz said.

‘Right, any questions?’ Johnathan said.

‘I have one, leader.’ Thamel said, ‘What about the ponies that could fly or use magic against us?’

Johnathan then switched the lights off and pulled a curtain down, he then proceeds to the projector and turns it on, revealing a blended flying wing aircraft with two turbines.

‘We will use our VB-1 aircrafts, armed with two machine guns and the capacity to dropping bombs, against the winged ponies,’ Johnathan said. ‘I’m sure that our pilots are trained enough to fly these planes.’

Johnathan switches the projector screen showing a tank with two barrels.

‘We could use our RF-12 tanks,’ Johnathan said. ‘The four-man crew has been trained enough to operate the tank.’

The projector then switched to an assault rifle carried by infantry.

‘The AtG-91 assault rifles, steel crafted and cheep to produce, could take on the ponies with the 30 round magazine’ Johnathan added.

The projector again switched to show a light machine gun with a pan magazine and next to it was a heavily armoured soldier with a large rectangular shape on it’s back, rectangular eyes on the mask looking like a gas mask with one filter connected together.

‘The DMPG-70 Light Machine gun carried by the Heavy Troopers, exercised through heavy lifting and trained to use the armoured suit, would mow the ponies down with their LMGs with high rate of fire.’ Johnathan added. ‘The magazines for the LMG is stored within these back packs.’

The projector then switched the slide to a truck and van like vehicle.

‘The Troop Transport Vehicles or TTVs are the vehicles that will transport our troops to the battlefield.’ Johnathan said.

The projector then turned to it’s last slide, showing a large cannon with tracks.

‘The M-41 Cannons will serve as artillery for the invasion.’ Johnathan said.

The projector then turned off, all of the slides are empty, and the light turned back on.

‘But leader, how should this progress?’ Mark said.

‘We should start with air bombings and then the soldiers would charge straight ahead to the city and shoot down any ponies fighting against us or capture some civilian ponies and sent them to prison camps.’ Johnathan said.

‘Should we built a prison camp after we captured it?’ Fritz said.

‘Yes.’ Johnathan said.

‘When should this operation start?’ Hans asked.

‘ASAP.’ Johnathan replied.

Johnathan then turns off the screen on the table.

‘Right, I want you all to get the troops ready.’ Johnathan commandeered. ‘Hail Magni.’

The commanders and generals then saluted to Johnathan and shouted “Hail Magni” before he salutes them back to them. Everyone started to leave the Operations Room expect Johnathan who goes up to a silver box and grabs a microphone from the box, he pushes the orange button and as it lights up, two low pitched beeps sounded the whole building.

‘Attention all soldiers, we are going to war. Prepare your equipment and weapons. I repeat, we are going to war. Prepare your equipment and weapons.’ Johnathan spoke.

Johnathan lets go of the button and places the microphone back into the silver box before leaving the Operations Room.

Back in Canterlot, Twilight Sparkle and the Mane 6 ran towards Celestia to deliver the news.

‘Princess Celestia, we have news.’ Twilight said.

‘Hit it.’ Celestia said.

‘As it turns out, there is a large city by humans.’ Twilight said.

Twilight’s words shock Celestia, sending shivers down her spine.

‘Oh no, the barrier.’ Celestia muttered.

‘The barrier’s broken it seems.’ Luna said.

‘Oh well.’ Twilight mumbled. ‘But hey, I have a report about them in my diary.’

Twilight pulls out her diary and gives it to Celestia, with Luna peeping over her. Before Celestia could read a word, a Royal guard burst out of the doorway.

‘CELESTIA! SOMETHINGS NOT RIGHT!’ The Royal guard shouted.

Celestia fixed her sights are the royal guard and he hands over a piece of paper to Celestia, Celestia could not help herself but look at the words scrawled onto the paper.

WE’RE UNDER ATTACK BY AN UNKNOWN FORCE!

SEND HELP!

‘Twilight, I want you to head to Crystal Empire and help everypony evacuate.’ Celestia ordered. ' I will read through your report while you were there.’

‘I’m on it, Celestia.’ Twilight said.

The mane 6 then rush out of the room.

‘It looks like it’s going to be another war again. Tia.’ Luna said.

Celestia replied with a sad sigh.

After a brief two hours, The Mane 6 had arrived at Crystal Empire to see that there is a train being loaded by a hundred ponies. The ponies were already being evacuated. Twilight then reaches up to Princess Cadence.

‘Have you got any news about an unknown force?’ Twilight said.

‘Yes, one of the royal guards came up to be alerting me about it.’ Cadence replied.

‘We are evacuating all of the ponies in Crystal Empire.’ Shining Armour said.

‘That’s great.’ Twilight said.

Suddenly, a loud whirling sound has overheard. All of the ponies then fixed their eyes towards the sky, the whirling sound then turned into loud sirens as three planes began diving towards the Crystal Empire from such a high feet, terrifying the ponies. The ponies began to brace themselves, leaving Twilight and the Mane 6 confused as to what are those flying objects. The planes then proceeded to drop bombs into the city causing many houses to be blown up as the planes ascended. One of the planes then proceeded to fire it’s machine guns at the evacuating ponies while diving towards it, killing a quarter of the ponies before ascending. Twilight couldn’t imagine herself of the planes’ design and how fast it is, it’s flat V-shape and it’s speed similar to that of a Wonderbolt. The planes then veered away.

‘What are those?’ Twilight said, shocked.

‘I don’t know.’ Cadence said.

Then suddenly, vehicles and armoured carts with two cannons began popping up. The vehicles began opening a lid on the front, releasing human soldiers out of it, charging straight ahead to the Crystal Empire. Something popped up in Twilight’s head, the Crystal Heart.

‘Wait, the Crystal Heart!’ Twilight said.

‘What?’ Cadence said.

‘You, Shining Armour and everypony get in the train!’ Twilight said.

‘B-But-’ Cadence said.

‘Just go!’ Twilight shouted.

The Mane 6, Cadence and Shining Armour then got into the train, leaving Twilight by herself. The train closes it’s doors as there is no room for more, leaving a quarter of the ponies by themselves. Twilight flies towards the center to see soldiers, with it’s appearance similar to the ones she saw before, firing their weapons towards ponies and throwing frag grenades at houses through the windows. There is also another form of soldiers, not wearing greatcoats but grey armour with same helmet but the mask is different, having a gas mask appearance while retaining the red rectangular eyes, carrying and firing large guns. Loud booms and gunfire filled the entire place with fire and smoke being everywhere. Twilight then sees a tank with it’s turret pointing towards the Crystal Heart, She then creates a shield with her magic before the tank shoots it’s cannon, blocking their fire. Twilight could see some unicorns fighting back against the humans with their magic, deflecting bullets with shields and blasting the humans away with their magic. She could see some ponies being killed by the humans through their guns, knives or hatchets. Twilight then spots a flying object with blades spinning and a woman begins firing at some ponies defending the city, she was a quick shooter from when she hits a pony, it results in an instant death. Twilight couldn’t believe herself, a force with such advanced technology. This is all wrong! How can they be like this? Twilight thought to herself. Then suddenly, a man with black hair and wearing a trench coat appeared, carrying a sword with blood dripping from it. His face is serious.

‘Well, if it isn’t Twilight Sparkle.’ Johnathan said.

‘You...’ Twilight said.

‘It’s me, Johnathan Johnson.’ Johnathan said.

Twilight then fires a laser at a tank, destroying it, and throws it towards Johnathan with her telekinesis magic. The tank then stopped flying and then flung to the right, Johnathan blocked it with his telekinetic powers as his left arm was straight, with his mark glowing purple over his leather gauntlet.

‘You thought I don’t have powers like you?’ Johnathan said.

Twilight then shoots a magic bullet towards Johnathan but he deflects it by hitting it with his sword.

‘Is that all you got or do you have some more?’ Johnathan said.

Twilight then looks over a dead royal guard and grabs it’s sword with her magic.

‘No!’ Twilight shouted.

Twilight then jumped in front of Johnathan and proceeded to clash with him, Two swords hitting each other. After numerous of swords clashing, Johnathan uses his force magic, pushing Twilight over towards the Crystal Heart. He then fires a purple laser beam towards Twilight, she then flying away from the beam but did not realise that the beam is hitting at the Crystal Heart. Once Johnathan stopped firing his laser beam, the Heart shattered into pieces. Johnathan wasn’t smirking or laughing or smiling, his face was dead serious. Twilight, angry from the Heart being destroyed, flies up towards the Crystal Tower, she could see Pegasuses trying to fight but the planes were fighting them two by shooting their machine guns at them. More houses being destroyed were also seen. Johnathan then super jumps towards the Crystal Tower, vaulting through the balcony. He goes up towards the throne, inspecting it.

‘Why? Why are you like this? How can you be this powerful?’ Twilight’s voice being heard.

‘Because you will never know.’ Johnathan muttered.

Twilight then appears behind Johnathan, ready to strike him, but he turned his head on his back.

‘And you will bow to Magni Imperium.’ Johnathan added.

‘What?’ Twilight spoke.

Johnathan’s sword has it’s runes light up purple and he proceeds to swing the sword towards Twilight, creating a huge gust of wind that blows her off the balcony. He proceeds to run towards the balcony and sees that Twilight had disappeared.

‘Next time, Twilight. Next time.’ Johnathan said.

Johnathan then jumps over the balcony and when he hit then ground, the ground shatters. An officer was running towards him.

‘Leader, I have the books that you claim that it provides Intel.’ The officer said.

‘Right, and how many ponies did you capture?’ Johnathan said.

‘Roughly about twenty five.’ The officer said.

‘That’s great, get them prepared to be sent to the camps.’

‘Affirmative Leader, Hail Magni.’ The officer said, running off without saluting to the leader.

‘Hail Magni.’ Johnathan spoke back.

Johnathan then takes sight of a soldier placing a large pole with the flag of Magni on it, fully claiming Crystal Empire as theirs. He then spots a helicopter with Izumi in it, with her sniper rifle. She gives Johnathan a thumbs up as soon as she seems him. Johnathan replies to her by giving her a thumbs up too. The helicopter landed on a clear spot with Izumi gesturing to Johnathan to get inside, he replied with a nod and went inside the helicopter before taking off.

Twilight then teleported back into the train, catching deep breaths.

‘Twilight, are you okay?’ Cadence said.

‘Yeah, I’m fine.’ Twilight said.

‘What happened out there?’ Cadence said.

‘They destroyed the Crystal Heart, they taken out some of the ponies’ lives, and there this one human with a sword.’ Twilight recalled.

The word “human” had shivered Cadence.

‘What “human”?’ Cadence said.

‘His name...is Johnathan Johnson.’ Twilight spoke.

There was a brief silence after she said his name. Shining Armour then stepped in.

‘What do you know about him?’ Shining Armour said.

‘He said something like “You will bow to Magni Imperium” or something.’ Twilight said.

‘Magni Imperium...I guess that’s what they’re called.’ Shining Armour remarked.

‘How did the ponies inside go?’ Twilight said.

‘They blew up some of the carriages, so we had to detach them.’ Shining Armour said.

Twilight got up to her hooves and looked around the carriage. It was a nightmare, ponies were crying and whimpering from the attack. The sirens from the planes could have caused the ponies to suffer from trauma due to the how nightmarish it sounded.

‘We will be heading to Ponyville, were they will be in safe hooves.’ Shining Armour said.

Twilight could only think of something.

This is not any form of war.

This is chaos
