//-------------------------------------------------------// Aftermath -by Evictus- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Reflection On Events //-------------------------------------------------------// Reflection On Events Rarity was walking through town one morning as reconstruction continued throughout the town after that horrible monster rampaged through Ponyville. It was terrible what happened. Lucky for them Twilight saved them all. She admired all the work they had done. Twilight would have been proud of them all as they were all proud of her. Rarity became sad at the fact that Twilight wasn't there to see the reconstruction as she would be so proud of all the progress they were making. Rarity was greatful for Twilight sacrificing herself as they were all still alive and Ponyville was on its way to be restored as construction ponies worked away fixing the town. Although Ponyville was being restored the ponies still wondered about where the monster came from. Fortunately for them Celestia was having ponies investigate the mysterious beast as Celestia had the body quarantined the day after the fight and she ordered scientists to study the monster. They were working on uncovering the mystery behind the beast. While the beast was being studied and the town was being repaired Equestria tried to continue this different life. It was very strange without Twilight and they all had noticed that. For days the newspapers covered the reconstruction of town and the aftermath of the event while they also covered the investigation. The ponies gossiped about regular everyday stuff but when the event came up they would immediately start talking about the event obsessively. It was due to the constant interest of the battle that newspaper sales spiked high and the news business was thriving as ponies obsessively bought newspapers to read every day about the event and the investigation. Books were written about it and they were sold constantly. Copies of books that were written about it had to be replaced as they were always sold out by the end of every week. It was crazy in Equestria as the event was on every ponies mind. Sure they did talk about other stuff but most of the ponies talked about what happened. Rarity and Twilight's friends still hung out together it in fact. Rarity saw her friends talking to one another at one point of her walk. She didn't want to bother them so she continued along. She was amazed at their strengths. Even if Twilight was gone her and Twilight's friends still went to places together They also already had a replacement bearer for element of magic. Rarity continued to look around Ponyville as ponies talked to eachother and fillies played in the neighborhoods. Rarity continued her walk as she thought about the elements and the construction and the legacy of Twilight. She missed her friend but she had come to terms with what had happened as it was Ponyville's history. She also wondered about Spike. Spike kept to himself nowadays so she really didn't know to much about how he was doing. Rarity continued her walk and entered Ponyville park as she walked past water fountains and a statue of Twilight that had been built there. She stopped to admire it. She thought of Twilight's parents. She knew that they had moved faraway to a secluded place in Equestria so that they wouldn't be bothered. Rarity didn't blame them either as she knew that Twilight's death was hard them as Twilight was their daughter and they loved her a whole lot. Rarity knew what they were going through so she didn't bother them either. She also thought about Spike. She didn't see Spike that often. She tried to see Spike but Spike was always locked in his room but he still snuck out to feed himself. She missed Spike but she also understood how upset he was so she left him alone out of respect for him. She did feel bad for him as he had lost some pony who was like a mother to him. She also thought about Shining Armor. After Twilights battle with the monster Shining Armor also removed himself from the public spotlight. He mostly worked Inside his castle in the Crystal Empire She thought of Cadence. Cadence continued to rule over the Crystal Empire with confidence. Rarity felt bad for Shining Armor and Cadence. Soon she walked back to her home. Once she got back she sat down and started to sow some material for a dress. She continued to think about her friend though in the back of her mind. She sold some dresses to customers from time to time today. Rarity couldn't help but feel deep in thought as she sold dresses. She didn't mean to sell them without expression but she couldn't help it as her friend was gone. She did try her best to cope with it though. Some ponies gave her a hard time that day so she told them to leave if they continued. As Rarity sold another dress while she made another one Sweetie Belle was listening to music which she didn't mind as long as Sweetie Belle kept it down then she wouldn't care. She continued to sow the dress. She was glad that her business didn't get that damaged in the battle. It was hit a bit but she had it fixed immediately after the funeral. Rarity thought about her friends and decided to go see them so she sent them letters. The next day they all got together and just talked about what they were up to as they avoided the drama going on in the town. They also avoided the subject of Twilight because if they talked about it then it would make them sad. They all went to eat somewhere. They relaxed a bit as they quenched their appetites. They were happy that Equestria didn't have a food shortage because of the battle. They were very lucky and so were other ponies. They talked about homes that were being repaired as they were happy for the citizens getting their places rebuilt. They talked for a bit more and a little bit later they all went back home. Once Rarity got back she had Sweetie Belle go to bed and she herself went to bed as well. She thought about the next day and wondered what it held as she finally started to look to the future but she made sure to remember the past.
