Muffins: A New Perspective

{3rd person POV}

(quick A/N before this starts, I intentionally don’t put… the main character’s name in because it’s a souprise, she’ll either be referred to as “P” or “the grey pony” JSYN ;) )

The grey pony was walking hastily to Sugarcube Corner, it was nearly closing time and she wanted to talk to Pinkie about the 3 ponies.

As she arrived she found that the store was as abandoned as a haunted house in the month of October

“dang it, I missed her… oh well, I’ll just come back tomorrow” the grey pony sighed

“Missed who?! Are you looking for somepony? Can I help look?” a million questions were shot out of this pony’s mouth. Whoever it was must be extremely hyperactive…

The voice…

“pinkie!”

“Theee one and only!”

The two ponies embraced for they hadn’t seen each other for what seemed like months to them, but was really only about a week.

“How is my favourite--” Pinkie said but was quickly cut off

“no! that’s a secret, remember? you said something about ‘ruining the surprise for the readers’ or something.”

Wha? Great… juusstt great. This fic has 4th wall breaking in it. –author kun is displeased-

“Ohh yeeeeaahhhh! I remember, but who are ya looking for, P?”

“you, actually! I wanted to talk to you about Inkie, Blinkie and Minkie”

“Oh! Well, let’s see. They’re all my sisters, they all LOVE to bake with me,” as the pink party pony from Ponyville (try saying that 50 times fast) said that, she smiled. But not her normal cheery smile, this smile was creepy, almost evil but the look quickly faded and she went back to explaining

“Minkie was lost for almost her WHOLE life! Can you believe it? But we found her and now we all bake together! You could come help us if you wanted...?” As she said that she looked at Pinkie with a hopeful look and puppy dog eyes

“nah, sorry Pinks, I’m no good at cooking, why do you think I’m always at Sugarcube Corner?”

“I just thought you REALLY like the cupcakes and muffins and brownies and regular cakes and..” the pink pony seemed to have a never-ending list of baked goods just flowing out of her mouth

“well, yes that too but I also go there because I’m trash at cooking… I’ll either buy apples or go to Sugarcube Corner… but since Applejack disappeared the apple export from Sweet Apple Acres has been getting pretty low…”

“Yeah, it’s really sad to see Applejack just run away like that, but just remember to always…?” she looked at the grey pony expectantly

“*sigh* smile, smile, smile.”

“Yeah! That’s it! Now I have to get you formally introduced to ALL of my friends!”

“you mean Twilight, Rarity and Fluttershy?”

“No, silly! You already know them! I’m talking about Derpy and Apple Bloom! Oh, and you’ll HAVE to meet my sisters! Especially my new one Minkie!”

Upon hearing this they grey pony’s face dropped. Literally, it just fell onto the floor... what? That didn’t happen? Oh, that’s right, she just looked a bit sad

“Don’t look so sad, P! They don’t bite! And besides, what happened to 'smile, smile, smile'?”

“*sigh* fine. when and where do we meet?”

“Tomorrow, Sugarcube Corner, 12PM!” she said this like one of her many party invitations… the grey pony had a special place for them. In the trash. She hated parties.

"okay, see you there"

"Buh Bye!"

The two ponies once again embraced and went their separate ways.
