Author's Note
Like I said, this is pretty much a literal unedited first draft I do not have the intent of polishing or making any more juicy than it already probably isn't. Regardless, I think its better to at least get this half baked idea out there, since the oh so illustrious genre of diaper fiction could always use another entry for the anthology. Facetiousness aside, enjoy this padded corpse of a fanfic.

Toys in the Attic
The pull out stairway to the Apple family’s attic always creaked when anypony walked up it. Every splintered step cried out as if they longed to be trampled upon when one of the Apples need to venture into the lonely room overflowing with cardboard boxes. It was that creaking that reprimanded Applejack from ever thinking of venturing into it’s depths.
But on this day she didn’t care. Big Macintosh had just left this morning to deliver a massive order of apple pies to Appleloosa, while Applebloom had said she would be out with her friends on a sleepover at Raritys. As for Granny Smith, she was out helping prepare for a local charity bake sale.
Applejack had the whole farm to herself, and she knew in the pit of her heart she could finally walk with abandon up the steps leading into a private realm of fond memories and forgotten treasures. The moaning wood that once caused her body to tremble every time she dreamed of going up there now was like an angelic choir. Each of her four hooves pressed against the boards in defiant urgency as she ascended towards the heavenly loft.
When the farm pony arrived, she was greeted by an array of airy particles. They swam in the sunlight pouring out of a circular window, from which one could view the large expanse of the farm’s apple orchard. It seemed as if the floating specks were guarding the piles of boxes laid to rest here, or at least she liked to imagine.
The musty smell of wood and pulp combined with the secluded nature of the attic made her feel like she was in the middle of a dream. A smile unfurled on Applejack's face at the realization that this was all too real.
She made her way through the sea of dust and began eyeing the innumerable parcles stacked all over the place. She knew what she was looking for, but where it resided was a mystery. In the right hand corner from where she was facing, she saw a box that had “Applebloom” scrawled on it. Applejack supposed that was as good a place to start as any.
With great care, she pulled several of the boxes off of the stacks and began rummaging through them. The first couple of them were nothing of interest; Some clothes Applebloom had outgrown and a few knick knacks. It wasn’t until she opened up some of the ones in the back that she found signs that she was on the right track.
A few particularly worn out boxes stood out to her. One had “Toys” written on it. She dragged it away set it aside before turning her attention to two larger boxes. The word written on both of them caused her heart to flutter. She couldn’t even say it aloud without having to double check if there was anyone around. All she could do was stare at the letters that formed that one elusive word: “Diapers”.
She opened the box so fast that she almost ripped the cardboard flaps keeping it closed. Inside it was a slightly smaller but much more colorful box. It sported a foal posed in such a way as to show off the new more absorbent and sleek design of the diapers it advertised. The pastel colors and in depth look at the inner workings of the undergarment were mesmerizing to Applejack, but the other box demanded her attention as well.
She pulled herself away from it for a moment and made quick work of the cardboard keeping her from her prize. This box had two plastic packages nestled within. The familiar smoothness of the outer wrappings alone were enough to get Applejack’s heart pumping. She laid them out in front of the other diaper box and examined them.
The first was a bag of pull-up style diapers. An older looking filly was on the cover, showcasing how easy they were to slip on and off just like real panties. The other portrayed a much older filly, about Applebloom’s age, maybe even a bit older, sleeping under the covers of a thick blanket. Beside the image was another of a larger pull-up style diaper that looked even more like typical underwear.
With the parcels laid out before her, Applejack contemplated on which to partake in first. She hovered closest to the classic foal diapers. Something about the cutesy designs of the animals on the front and back and the ruffles along the leak guards spoke to her. The extra poofy padding and increased absorbance of those kind of diapers are all what filled her daydreams as she worked on the field. As nice as the others were, these had to be the ones she tried first.
As Applejack opened the box, her heart nearly stopped. It seemed that the box was only filled with stuffed animals. She flung them out, hoping that there were at least some diapers left inside. Much to her relief, she was right. There were about five or so diapers scattered about the bottom. She picked one up and hugged it in her arms. The plastic backing rubbing against her coat combined with the constant crinkling was beyond what her mind could imagine.
After a few more moments of savoring the feel of the garment, she began to examine it more closely. It was a bit dated, as the newer diapers she had frequently eyed at the general store were much more state of the art, but they filled Applejack with fond memories of when her little sister was in diapers.
The older farm pony remembered wearing cloth more than anything, but something about the way disposables hugged a foals body made her always slightly jealous of Applebloom getting to parade around in them.
Applejack unfolded the diaper, revealing the plush innards of the diaper. The faint but ever present scent of lavender wafted outwards. Her eyes shut as she imagined wrapping the garment around her waist. She could practically already hear the sounds of the sticky tapes against the plastic landing zones. More than anything, she could perfectly picture the ultimate fate of the padding and how it would feel to wet herself.
When she opened her eyes, though, reality hit her. The diaper was far too small for her to wear. She held it in her mouth and examined it next to her rump. There wasn’t a chance the fabric would stretch far enough without snapping. She sighed, but didn’t give up hope. The pull-up ones had to fit her.
Applejack ripped through the packaging and pulled out one of each. She placed in front of her so that she could judge them side by side. The training pant was bright and colorful. Vibrant pink and purple flowers danced across the white backing, awaiting the first trickles of pee to whisk them away.
The night time trainers were far more sleek. The fabric was a pastel lavender throughout, with stars, crescent moons, and clouds dotting the diaper. Apart from the more mature design, they were also larger. Large enough, Applejack hoped, to fit on her.
She lifted the purple padding of her choice with her mouth, and adjusted it so that her hind hoofs were poking through the holes. The crinkling cloth rose up her orange colored coat until it hit the base of her tail. Applejack tugged it through a small tear in the ruffled backing of the diaper, then taped it up.
The newly padded pony stood in disbelief for a few moments, afraid that any movement would cause the diaper to tear. She lifted one of her hind legs to give it a little stress test. The garment hugged her a bit tight, but it fit well enough for her to move around without the easy-off sides ripping. After breathing a sigh of relief, she sat down to admire her diaper. It wasn’t as poofy as the padding of her dreams, but the slight bulk caressing her crotch was enough to cause her heart to skip a beat with every crinkle.
Applejack pressed her hoof against the face of her diaper. The pressure against the soft fabric reminded her of the pressure building within her. A harsh blush formed on her face as she thought about letting go and relaxing the tense muscles holding her back. She thought about this moment for so long, but it she never thought it would be this exhilarating.
Without another thought, she closed her eyes and gave a slight push. After a few seconds, a trickle began to form before the dam burst with a resounding hiss. Applejack sighed as she lost control, letting her diaper do all the work for her. The thirsty padding greedily drank up every ounce of urine pouring out from the big pony with ease. It swelled nicely, expanding outward with each new drop that filled the confines of the diaper. The stream fell from back to a trickle before subsiding. Applejack stared at the slightly discolored padding in awe, amazing they it held up to such a massive wetting.
She gave it another squeeze with her hood and felt the fading warmth of her fresh urine spreading from the front to the back. Applejack could feel a slight amount of moisture escaping the diaper and soaking into her coat. The diaper had been pushed to its limits, so she decided to lay off and just enjoy the thickened padding resting between her legs.
In the midst of her release, she failed to hear the a creaking sound growing louder and louder. Before she could even realize what was happening, a little filly wearing a bow peeked her head from the entrance of the attic watching her revel in the afterglow of her wet diaper.
“Heya Applejack, can I have some of the leftover pie in the fridge? Or is Granny saving it for… Wait, whatcha doing with all them old toys? And are those-”
Applejack jolted to her feet. Her face cringed as she heard her sister’s voice sink deep into her flesh like a timberwolf’s teeth. She didn’t have to look at her to know that Applebloom’s eyes were burning right through her. The only thing left for her to do was to lie.
“Nothing to see here. Just Give me a minute, sugarcube. Go downstairs. I’ll be down likity split. I’m just doing some spring cleaning. Don’t mind me.”
Appleblooms red brow rose in suspicion.
“Ain’t it a little early to be doing that?”
“Well, you know what they say, the early bird gets the worm.”
“Yeah but it’s... Wait, are what’s that you’re wearing? Looks like a diaper.”
Applejack recoiled as the full weight of the word came crashing down on her.
“I, uhh, well, um... They uhh.”
Applebloom stepped forward, eliciting a sharp recoil from her sister.
“Look, sis, I don’t know what you’re doing, but I know it ain’t cleaning. You’ve never been a good liar. Just give it to me straight.”
Applejack shook her head
“Applebloom, it’s nothing. Why are you here anyhow. I thought you’d be gone all day on account of the sleep over.”
Applebloom sighed and stared at the ground.
“It was canceled. Sweetie Belle said Rarity had to leave cause of some ‘fashion emergency’ up in Manehattan.”
“I see.”
Applejack sighed, not even trying to hide the sagging diaper she wore like a badge of shame. She turned her face away from Applebloom and hung her head in defeat.
“Look, sis, I don’t want to talk about this. I didn’t want anyone to know I’m some weirdo freak, let alone my sister. Just forget about this and go eat some pie or whatever. I’ll clean up here.”
Applebloom moved to close the distance between them. Her sister just slumped over in a futile attempt to hide her face.
“Hey sis, don’t be like that. It’s weird, but there’s got to be a reason for it, right?"
“Oh, there is, sugarcube, there is. Thing is, the reason’s mighty strange too. I don’t know quite how to put it to be honest. I just... I don’t know...”
Applejack lied on her belly and buried her face in her hooves.
Applebloom looked hard at the mare she called her sister standing before her. Toys were strew around her, waiting to be played with. Packs of diapers ripped open by her hooves, eager to meet their wearer’s needs. And Applejack in the middle of it all, hiding the apple red blush creeping through her face behind her cowpony hat. The tears raining from her sister’s emerald eyes were the strangest thing about it all. She’d never seen her cry like that.
The little filly spoke to Applejack like a mother trying to soothe her child.
“I think I get it. It’s kinda like pretend, ain’t it? Been awhile since I did that sort of thing, but I always liked it. Made me feel kinda, I dunno, free, I guess? Like I could do anything. Be anything. I’m guessing that’s sorta what’s going on here..”
Applebloom combed through her sister’s mane.
“So don’t worry. It ain’t all that weird. You’re just playing pretend, that’s all. Some ponies like to act like a princess, others maybe a pirate or something. You just like to be a foal. Doesn’t make a difference what you chose to be while you're doing it. Wearing diapers just makes you feel free, in a weird sorta way I guess. Am I right?”
Applejack rose her head stared into Applebloom’s eyes.
“I suppose you’re right. I’m just scared. I don’t know why I feel this way, I just always have. And I never told anypony cause it’s just too darn weird. I didn’t think you’d understand.”
A sharp giggle came from Applebloom.
“Well, I can’t say I do. But you’re my sister, and I’ll stick by you no matter what. Diapers and all.”
Applejack could help but smile as her sister pulled her up.
“C’mon, the day's still young, and we should have the farm all to ourselves. Let’s take some of these things into my room and play. Ooh, and mind if I call you little sis? I’ve always wondered what it would be like to have a little sister.”
Applejack closed her eyes and smiled. She gave a gentle nod before grabbing the package of nighttime diapers. Applebloom followed behind with small box filled with some of the toys lying around. Together, they walked down the attic steps, filling the house with that same old creaking.
