Kings of Los Santos
The BS prologue
Load Full Story-Craaaaaaaack-
Outside the small window a violent thunder storm was raging, the thunder lighting up the dark room. The room was suddenly bathed in a pale blue light, what can be seen is metal table, two chairs on left side, and only one on the right; a large silvery mirror was looking into the room. On the other side of the mirrored surface were two people, a redheaded female standing about five foot five inches, she was dressed in a dark blue suit clipped on her belt was a shiny golden shield with a field of blue near the top of it. Next to her was a tall african american man, dressed in black slacks and a white button up shirt with a red tie around his neck, he also had the same shield except his was hanging from his neck on a chain. In front of them was a camera that was pointing into the room, with a blinking red light on the top showed that it was recording.“Are you sure this is him? Just seems like he’d be harder to find.” The redheaded lady asked her compatriot as they looked into room. Her compatriot continued to stare into the room, “Yeah, it’s him. Or at least *we know it’s him. We need him to talk otherwise he’ll just end up on the news as another harassment victim. Without a confession from him, we’re back two years of work and we lose the support and confidence of the public.” *-Craaaaaaack-*Another lightning strike lit the room up again revealing a man leaning back in a chair bracing one foot against the desk in front of him and the other dangling just above the floor. He was wearing a pair of simple black jeans, a grey shirt under a black grey striped leather jacket. His face was pale, a bit of a beard was showing, his hair was an inky black that looked like he had just woken up. His eyes were an icy blue with slight speckles of grey showing. But the most prominent feature was a long scar going the length of his jaw on his right side to his ear. With a creak the door opened and the woman entered the room and sat across the man. She proceeded to open a manilla folder and read from it.“Dan Revan Grayson, age twenty-seven, born in Liberty City, May twelfth of Nineteen-ninety.” She looked up from the file to the man, who hadn’t even bothered to acknowledge her presence in the room. She loudly cleared her throat in an attempt to get his attention.“I’m sorry, but you’re not my lawyer, also where are they? You’ve had me here for a least two hours by my count. It’s not that far of a drive from their office to here.” He said while he changed the positions of his feet.Slightly annoyed at his action and lack of attention, she grimaced slightly before responding, “No I’m Detective Alexa Gowen. And your lawyer is on their way traffic plus the weather is making them late. Also you’ve been here for an hour and a half not two.” She looked back down to the file and continued, “Known family, Adoptive parents James Richard Grayson, and Catherine Anastasia Grayson, both live here in the city, Younger Sister, Artemis Grace Grayson also lives here in the city. Hmm I wonder what they’ll have to say about you being here. About you being involved with the Remnants. About you being the Rogue.” She finished looking up to try and find some sort of reaction on his face. She found a very bored stare heading her way.“So, first off that’s a helluva fantasy you got there, second pretty sure you telling people things that are untrue about me is libel or was it slander? Oh well either that’s a big no-no, and third LAWYER.**” With that done he leaned back and continued to wait.Suddenly the door opened and in walked two well dressed individuals the first being a blonde woman wearing a dark purple suit with skirt. The second being an older man with a cane, greying hair, he was wearing a dark green suit. The detective looked at them questioningly, “Who are you?”The blonde woman stepped forward and spoke, “We’re Mister Grayson’s attorneys. And you can start by telling us why our client is here.” Narrowing her eyes at the detective, as if daring her to argue.Alexa’s shoulders slumped slightly, confused as to how the lawyers are here. The Captain said they’d get at least three hours with the suspect. She bit her lip as she responded. “He’s here under charges of illegally carrying a concealed weapon, and failure to comply with an officer.”The female lawyer rolled her eyes, while the greying male beside her simply smiled as if he were the cat that ate the canary. “Detective, the weapon was not concealed it was in a locked safety box in the back seat of his vehicle, which he has all the legal paperwork for, and the failure to comply is a non issue as the officers had no reason to stop him and ask him to exit vehicle for search. So as it stands you have no reason to continue to hold, and not to mention your fellow officers’ misconduct and attempts to prevent us from representing our client. We’ll be leaving now, and you’ll be returning his firearm and vehicle.” With that said the two lawyers and Dan left the room leaving Alexa alone fuming. Her partner entered the room. “Hey Gowen, c’mon he’s gone.”She sat down defeated, “We had the Rogue, we had one of the core members of the Remnants here and we just let him walk out. The fuck happened.”Her partner shrugged, “We just got out played. C’mon Cap says we’re done for the day.”-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Los Santos, a place of beauty, the home of Vinewood, the place where dreams are made. A place of unrivaled potential even greater than that of Liberty and Vice City. But where there is such potential and beauty, there is also violence and ugly. In Los Santos there were four major gangs, The Vagos, The Ballas, The Lost MC, and finally The Fake AH. At one point the Fake AH was the most powerful gang in the city, but internal power struggles began as they got larger and absorbed smaller gangs like Fake Haus, The Creatures, and The HaS. No one knows who killed Geoff and Jack, but tensions quickly increased. It was the murders of the Vagabond, Michael and Gavin when the end of Fake AH was certain. HaS was being hunted down by both for being the most suspect as they were the newest to be absorbed. It was when Jeremy had been killed by Fake Haus that the other gangs of the city got involved attempting to take anything they could and claim the title of the rulers of Los Santos. Seeing what was happening the surviving members of the Fake AH, The Creatures, Fake Haus, and HaS joined to form The Remnant. The Remnant quickly took what was once theirs and began rebuilding the fallen empire that was once the Fake AH. Within the year they had secured their place as the rulers of Los Santos, but that doesn’t stop other gangs and from attempting to dethrone them. Internally they set up a system to prevent history from repeating again. This system is a council with a president at the head, every few years the president would be switched with someone from the council. As it stands the Remnants are both loved and hated, the police hate them for violence they bring to city and lack of care for laws. The public are mixed, some love them because they keep the other gangs in check and for the money they pour back into the city. But some hate them for the lack of respect they show the city and the laws. The other gangs have a respectful hate for them, they don’t like how they’ve carved up the city and intercept the drugs and weapons that are smuggled into the city. The media love them, for when the Remnants are out and about there is always a story to cover. *This is the story the Remnants and their struggle to maintain their place as the rulers of Los Santos.**
