UniqueSKD was currently working on another YouTube video. He was making an animation about CastleMania hoping to finish it by March. He was working hard at his animation due to his nature to finish anything he started. Whether it was called stubbornness or determination depends on who one asked.
Unique truly did live up to his name. Unlike other ponies, he was born with a defect in his lower body that caused him to walk on two legs instead of four. His friends were fine with it, and the ponies in Equestria had seen much stranger things. Unique was a white Pegasus who had a blue crest in the center of his chest. The tips of his primaries were the same color blue as his crest. His mane and tail were a dark brown and his eyes were baby blue. UniqueSKD lived in Manehatten in a hotel room that no one, except his friends, knows the location of since YouTubers do like to keep their location a secret. getting crushed by one's own fans was not an enjoyable experience.
Today, However, was not any ordinary day. He planned on visiting a very good friend over in ponyville. Her name was twidashloverxox. She was a Purple Alicorn who went by the name TwiDash. Somehow, none of the ponies in ponyville connected the dots between the names of two different Element Bearers being used as one name. She had decided to pretend she only had wings because she enjoyed flying with Unique and didn't want to attract attention. After all, who wouldn't be surprised to see a fifth Alicorn princess?
Now. Back to the subject at hoof. He finally decided he better get going before it was to late. The last train for ponyville would be leaving in a few moments and he had to get there quickly. He grabbed his backpack, jumped out the window, and flew towards the train station. As he flew he reflected on his life. He'd had so many adventure and so many stories that writing them down was the first thing he thought when he retired from saving the world and stuff. He wasn't that old but he had been fighting for years and now that there were other ponies around who could kick some flank he could finally relax. Of course he didn't stay still for very long, such is the way of every fighter. He got into a few more fights and kept at it now and then. For a pony that spent the majority of his life fighting, his current life was pretty calm.
Unique looked down upon the crown of ponies beneath him. The mix of colors created a rainbow bringing a small bit of beauty to the city.
Unique looked forward and saw the Train Station. He flew downward and landed right in front of the ticket box. And elderly mare who had a look on her face indicating she had been doing this for hours spoke in a bland tone, bordering on annoyance, "Where to sir?"
Unique smiled and responded in a British accent, "Ponyville please, and might I say, you look simply divine."
The mare was apparently not used to be complimented like this and blushed, "Uh... um... yes of course. Uh... one second." She turned around, grabbed a ticket, and gave it to Unique. Before he could reach into the pocket that ponies magically had in their sides, she stopped him and winked, "Just go already. Nice stallions like you are rarely met."
Unique smiled and headed for the train while whispering to himself, "Still got it." He got onto the train and went to his room on the second class car. He was in second class because he knew he mustn't draw to much attention to himself even though he would have loved it. He laid down and fell fast asleep.
Unique woke up slowly, his eyes still hazy, but his ears were being assaulted by some awful noise. It sound like thousands of fingernails and claws scratching against a chalkboard. After a few seconds his eyes adjusted and he could see what was happening. What he saw, however, was not what he had expected. The room he was in was similar from what he went to sleep to but it had stains on the fabric, places it was ripped and shredded, and the light had somehow gone out leaving an eerie light to shine through the window. He stood up and followed the sound. He opened the door to his room and was met with something he was entirely unprepared for. There wasn't any train. His room and a few others were simply free rolling on the tracks. If he had taken another step he would have ended up under the small structure of what once was a train.
Suddenly a jolt on the tracks cause him to be launched upwards. Since he had not fully exited his room he hit his head on the ceiling and was knocked out.
Unique woke up to a the feeling of something poking him in the back. He rolled onto his back and opened his eyes. He was back on the train, The real train. He looked at the source of the poking and found a little colt poking him.
The foal asked a simple question, "Um. Mista? are ya dead?"
Unique chuckled at the little colts question and responded, "No lad. I'm not dead. Just did hit my head is all. I'm dandy."
"Oh. Ok then." The colt trotted off to another location and left Unique to wonder what just happened. he thought to himself I guess it was just a dream and I began to sleepwalk. After all, that was the most obvious answer. He headed back to his room but found that sleep was somehow eluding him now. He didn't feel like going through another sleepwalking accident again.
A few hours later he finally got to ponyville. He unloaded his stuff and set to finding the place he was supposed to TwiDash. They had agreed to meet at a fountain that existed right in the center of the little village. He traveled a ways until he found the location. He sat down and began winking at every mare who looked his way, except for a few. Unique had a strange sixth sense about certain things, one of which told him whether or not a mare had a stallion already who might buck anypony in the face who looked at her from behind.
A voice rank out from his left, "Hey Unique!"
The white pegasus spun around to look at the pony who's voice was all to familiar, "Hey TwiDash." He responded.
The black haired pony sat next to Unique and the two hoof bumped, "Haven't seen you in a while girl. Where you been hiding?"
"Oh nowhere really. I've just been trying out for the Wonderbolts!" TwiDash beamed, "They accepted me!"
Unique smiled. It always made him happy to see one of his friends so happy, especially his waifu. He had liked her the first time they met. The strange thing was, he had been with plenty of mares before, gone on plenty of dates, and even went to bed with a few, but TwiDash was something special. When he first met her, he decided to destroy the connections he had with the other mares. He was still a flirt but for some reason he could never talk the same way to TwiDash. He did enjoy seeing her blush though, and would purposefully compliment her when he knew others were looking, much to her annoyance.
TwiDash spoke, "So have you finished that new animation?"
Unique put his fore hooves behind his head and shook his head no, "No not yet. I'll have it done by March hopefully."
The two ponies sat and talked about other things until Celestia started to lower the sun. TwiDash looked at Unique concerned, "Um... where are you staying for tonight?" Unique looked at her blankly as she continued to speak, "You didn't actually think about that until I mentioned it, did you?" Unique simply shook his head. TwiDash continued her speech, "Well, in that case..." ,She stood up, "...your coming with me. You can crash at my place for tonight."
Unique smirked, "TwiDash! How could you possibly try and take advantage of our friendship like that?" ,he stood up put his hoof around her, "Seriously? Offering me a place to sleep just so we can get more intimate?"
TwiDash blushed widely and playfully pushed Unique off of her while he started laughing, "D.. don't say things like that. I... it's embarrassing."
After Unique stopped laughing and TwiDash stopped blushing the two headed for her place. Unique insisted that she not give up her bed for him and said he would sleep on the couch. TwiDash reluctantly accepted and went to her bedroom.
Unique lay on the couch and went to sleep.
Unique woke up to the sound of screaming. His eyes went wide open and focused on his surroundings. What he saw was not the house he had been in when he went to sleep but a version of it half destroyed as if it were on fire at some time. The roof was barely even there. The sky was grey with clouds and the sun couldn't be seen. He heard the scream a second time and jumped from the couch. He leapt for a hole in the wall and saw a horrendous sight.
Bodies.
Bodies of ponies lying on the ground. Many of them were mangled and torn apart. Some were only harmed a little but were obviously dead. Every face had a look of horror as if they were still facing what had killed them in the first place. Unique slowly lowered himself to the ground. He was unable to control his body movements. He stood there in frozen shock. The houses were either destroyed or on the verge of collapsing. After a few moments his thoughts went back to the scream. He had heard it from out here. The scream sounded again as a pink pony came bursting from one of the buildings.
"Pinkie Pie?!" Unique couldn't say anything else. He had met the pony once or twice when visiting. One difference was her hair wasn't poofy any more, it was straight. He was still staring until he saw who was chasing her: It was dark brown stallion who held a make shift spear in his mouth. He continuously swung at Pinkie forcing her to dodge the strikes.
Unique seethed in anger, "Hey! Leave her alone!" he wouldn't stand for somepony being treated like this. He flew at full speed towards the attacker and rammed into his side. The stallion hit his head on a rock and knocked out on the ground. Whether he was dead or not didn't matter at the moment. Unique caught his breath and looked at Pinkie who was standing to the side of the scene in fear. Unique stepped closer and she recoiled in fear.
"Hey." ,he whispered softly, "I won't hurt you." He reached out his hoof as Pinkie slowly walked towards him. When she got to him she wrapped her hooves around him to his surprise and didn't seem to want to let go. She cried into his shoulder a few minutes before calming down a little.
"What happened here?" , he asked, "When did this happen to Ponyville?"
Pinkie looked at him in confusion, "What do you mean by Ponyville? This village hasn't had a name in years." suddenly her eyes went wide, "Wait a minute. No way. Your UniqueTKO. Your the one who has been saving ponies all over Equestria, or at least what once was Equestria."
Unique looked Pinkie in shock, "Um... ok. I'll ask about that later."
Pinkie nodded her head slowly. The two sat there for a few minutes while Unique thought about something I feel like I'm forgetting something.
In sudden realization he let go of Pinkie and yelled, "Oh Buck! TwiDash!"

In an alternate universe...
UniqueTKO was a hero. He had saved the lives of hundreds and done his best to defeat the villains of the world. No one could ever not recognize the Pegasus. The primaries on his wings were burning red color as well as a strange crest that was on his chest. His eye's were baby blue much to everypony's surprise. One would have expected red eyes. He also walked on two legs due to a birth defect.
Where was I? Oh yes. He lived in a desolate land that was once called Equestria before 'they' came. 'They' were known as the Brutos, a creature made of slime and muck bent on destroying life. They had no minds of their own and they had no souls. They were like inanimate objects used to the advantage of an evil force: Queen Chrysalis.
The story was said to be that Queen Chrysalis had found a way to take the life force of a changeling and to put a life source of her own into the body of the victim. After finding out how to do this she took over Equestria, overthrowing the Princesses and even the elements of harmony. Discord was unable to defeat her and was once again turned to stone. Soon the land became filled with death and destruction. All was not lost, however. A small group of ponies gathered relics across the land and used them to enhance their abilities. Some gained speed, some gained strength, some gained powers beyond their belief.
Unique had found a relic known as the Final Flame and was given a strength beyond ones imagination. With a one punch he could defeat any foe. The only problem was he had to stay in control. If the power of a relic is misused or the bearer was weak then it would either cause terrible destruction or simply destroy the one bearing it.
At the moment, Unique was walking down a dusty path in a city once known as Manehatten. He was on his way to see his wife twidashloverxxx, or TwiDash for short. They had known each other for years and he had told her about his love for her a few months afterwards. They got married on the same day that Canterlot had been overthrown. They were separated in a great battle but were now in contact with each other.
While Unique was walking past an old train-station that had long been unused he noticed a single car that seemed to be intact and could be used to make his trip shorter. He cleaned off the metal contraption and climbed inside. One of the room in the in it were still usable so he decided to lie down. He found sleep quickly due to his long travel.
A wonderful feeling came to the side of Unique. It was the feeling of sunlight. It warmed his skin to the bone. He opened his eyes and was met with a beautiful sight. He was inside the same room as before but it was polished and well taken care of. The seats were unstained and window was still intact. He stood up and headed for the door. As he opened it he saw the rest of the train in perfect condition. He would have walked further but something slammed into his hooves, taking away his balance and causing him to land headfirst on the doorknob on the door straight across from his room. Normally it wouldn't effect him but at the moment he was hazy from waking up and was still quite tired.
Unique opened his eyes once again, only to find himself back on the train car. He shook his head and walked back inside his room.
He mumbled under his breath, "Hmm. Must have been a dream. Either that or I'm going crazy." Unique hoped it was the former and lied down once more. He found out, however, that sleep eluded him.
A few hours later he came upon the town once known as Ponyville. Using his hoof he stopped the wheels of the train car, bringing it to a slow but sudden stop near the entrance to the town. He climbed out and walked through the desolate village.
As Unique walked he saw something that never ceased to amaze him: house completely shaped as a tree. It looked almost as if it had grown like that.
"Wish I had a house like that." He mumbled to himself, "Wish I had a house, period."
Unique hadn't lived in one place for years. If he ever did come across a nice place he wouldn't remain there. He would eventually have to change locations at some point.
"Well hello there good looking." , and all to familiar voice rang behind Unique, "What brings you to my humble town?"
Unique turned around to the sight of his wife, "Just searching for some treasure milady." When they were close enough Unique held her in a loving embrace and kissed her. When the kiss ended, he added, "I think I just found it."
After a few minutes of talking the two lovers walked inside a half destroyed building. Due to an accidental remark on TwiDashs weight, Unique had to sleep on the couch. Unique didn't argue, a couch would be much better than where he had been sleeping. He put his head down and fell into the land of the unconscious.
He only was like this for a few seconds before he woke up again. For some reason he felt as though the room looked a little different: The couch was more comfortable, it was darker than before, and the house was without any blemishes or damage of any kind.
"What in Tartarus?" Unique stood up and noticed a blanket over him. He hadn't gone to sleep with a blanket on. How did that get there? He decided the best course of action would be to ask TwiDash what was going on. He walked up the stairs to her bedroom and knocked on the door.
A voice rang from the other side, "One second."
The door opened to reveal the purple pegasu... wait. Pegasus? Unique looked at TwiDash in amazement. She didn't have a horn or an eyepatch. That couldn't be possible.
"Twi! What in Celestias name happened? Where is your horn?! How did your eye come back?"
TwiDash looked at Unique puzzled, "What do you mean? You know I hide my wings so nopony knows I'm Alicorn, and what do you mean by my eye growing back? Plus why are your wings and crest red?"
Unique was speechless. He thought hard for a few seconds before he thought up the most obvious answer. She's a changeling. There was only one way to find out for sure. Unique grabbed TwiDash by the waist and pulled her in close.
"Unique! What are you dohmph..." Her question was interrupted as their lips connected. Unique felt her lips through his own and felt how she kissed. It was definitely the pony he knew to be his wife but she kissed as if this her first time. Finally, Unique released her and she stumbled back a few steps in a daze with a very visible blush.
Unique began to speak again, "Sorry for that, I just had to make sure you weren't a changeling." Before he could say another word, TwiDash smacked him in the face, the impact almost shattering his skull.
"What the freaking buck Unique!"

So yeah. Chapter two done. Give me any criticisms that you might have.
UniqueTKO is just an alternate versionof UniqeuSKD if you didn't already figure that out. I don't know what 'SKD' stands for but I do know that 'TKO' means 'Total Knock Out.'
I will be trying to work on this story every now and then but do not expect constant updates.
