Hello there, my name is Starlight Glimmer, and I'm in a bit of a pickle. Twilight and I were dueling, something I managed to actually get her to enjoy, when one of her spells went haywire. I think she put a little too much focus behind it, because when it hit me, it teleported me a long way away from home… like, to another planet entirely.

I will find a way to get home eventually, I have to. Until that time, however, I'll be fighting day in and out for my life. Oh, and I won't be alone, it seems.

It's also the first story I've ever actually written, so critique it, but please try not to be too hard on it.
