"Button break fest is ready!", in a matter of seconds elina could hear hoove steps going down stairs. "Alright mom but let's hurry up I need to got to school", after ending his sentance button mash dug into his break fest, "Um button if you leave now you'll get to school earlie", she was suspicous of this new attitude. "Really!, wow now I really need to hurry", after that he really sped up on eating his food. Now elina was very suspicous of button's new mood. "All done", after saying that he grabbed his backpack that was slouching on the chair he was sitting "bye mom!" after that he headed towards the door opened it went outside and closed the door behide him and set off to a path way he used to go to school he would pass the time walking to school by playing his joyboy but when he reached into his backpack there was nothing there except his times homework "that's odd I always bring my joyboy with me", he then thought he forgot to pack it in his backpack because of how excited he was for today. He kept trotting to school but he had nothing to do during the trip so he decided why not look at the space around him he soon regretted it since there was nothing but ponies walking around. He soon reached his destination, since he was early, class hasn't started yet and that meant he was able to talk to other ponies but he really just wanted to talk to the cmc but sweetie belle more specifically she was his first friend and best but he liked her a liitle more than friends and he was going to give her a note telling her how he felt about it sure it was sappy but its the best he could do. Right when button was walking towards her, he heard his name being called behide him in the distance button looked at who was calling him then he saw who the voiced belonged, to it was rumble buttons second best friend. "Hey rumble what's up", "Do you know what today is?". "Hello class", miss cheerilee said while holding a smile, "Does anypony know what today is?". Scootalo raised her hoove in the air, miss cherilee pointed to her "its hearts and hooves day", "That is correct scootalo so later on in the day we will pass around cards but for now we need to focus on our work". The rest of the day was normal math some assigned home work it came close to the end of school. "Okay everypony, you can pass out your hearts and hooves cards". A lot of cards were passed out nothing that was worth looking although diamond tiara got none and so did silver spoon, there was two ponys waiting for the end of the day to give out their cards button and scootalo they both waited so the entire class wouldn't pester them, *DINGGGGGG*. Both of them had a plan to set up a meeting place where they could give their crush's their cards but a flaw they both missed was they both had the same idea for the spot, sugar cube corner they didn't realize until they met each other. "I'm here to tell sweetie belle how I feel about her so basically what your doing", Then they heard hoove steps. "We need to get out of here no offense but I don't really wana do this at the same time you do", Scootalo nodded her head in agreement then they quickly left before rumble and sweetie belle could see them. "Phew that was to close, WAIT WHERES MY PAPER!", "I lost mine too". "Its okay we probably left them in suger cube corner" button said while trying to calm himself and scootalo, "Um button?" "Yeah?" "You do know they just came into there and we just escaped from there?" "Dangit!". "Um let's see how they react maybe that will release some of our stress right?", "I guess so" scootalo said while shrugging. When they both saw through the window of suger cube corner they were shocked of what they saw they both ran their own ways regretting their decisions they made today. The front door opened then was slamed shut, "Button is something wrong?". "Everything is wrong!", "Do you want to talk about it?", elina said in a soft voice. "No I just want to go to my bed and forget everything", after that he went upstairs to his room and shut and locked his door. "I'm sure he just needs time to recollect himself". The next two days were weekends button only came out of his room once just to eat dinner everytime else he brought his dinner with him in his room truly tomorrow would be diffucult.
